Haengzoo well deserved that

It so fresh seeing him break expectations and win when everybody thought (before the season even started) that Nucksal would win

Everybody said he didn't suit Codean team so it was really really fresh seeing him adjusting and doing great music with them

It was such a shame seeing Wongjae being eliminated and not getting to perform the second song... I really wanteded to see what he prepared with Gray and Loco!! Hopefully they will release that soon

 

Nucksal's did really good as expected although his second song choice was a bit not as strong to leave much impact for me... But he really did great overall! I just really liked how he always has that smiling face all the time

Haengzoo's second choice was really good and the hook was just really really good Zico also added a lot to the overall feel of the song as expected

 

The eliminated rappers stage as expected was just amazing

You could tell that they were all just as ready as everyone else to be on the stage and they really showed that!

 

Also,

It was like my first time in forever to think that Olltii looks good with his green hair (I despised that colo and that pink before it...) but he actually looked really good in this episode

Also, Hash's black hair!!!!!!!

 

I know that Wonjae would hit it big after the show in the scene

I hope he can find a label that will allow him to truly do the kind of music he likes

I am just really glad Tiger JK and Bizzy brought him to their team; they just really guided him well and I don't see him going this far DOING this well without them in the show!!

The most fun part about this season

Is unlike last season, the finale this time round can't be determined. We don't have the smallest clue on who is going to win and that itself just makes the finale much more fun!!

Wonjae's performance is so strong

Like I didn't realize he could keep original to his own style and not change it

Yet keep delivering an amazing performance a different stronger impact every time

Olltii really posted this yesterday

I just can't

 

It is just a bit ticking off and really disappointing

To see people, yet again, jumping into hate bandwagons

Without checking the actual credibility of the information

Without checking whether it is right or not

Losing their ability to judge rationally in the process

 

All of this is just really putting off... and just really disappointing

I still wanted to belive that the Nucksal vs Junoflo rumors aren't true until the preview got out...

I didn't expect that we will get the big match before the finals!!

I think the final will end up being Nucksal, Juno, and Wonjae if none of them end up facing each other before the final.

 

I have the same thoughts

The amount of votes they gathers in the this round already tells much!!

 

If nothing unexpected happens, Nucksal and Juno are fixed for finales!!

It is going to be either Wonjae/Hanhae I think

Except if there is something that doesn't allow two rappers of the same team to be in the finales

You know after rewatching the live performances, I'm rooting for Juno and Nucksal. Dynamic Duo team is really something else. They really do know how to bring out the best of the artist, and put a good performances for the people who attended and the viewers, I applaud them

 

 

I wonder how different the results would be if they had kept Olltii, and had Pene, and Punchnello in team codean

Pene's and Punchnello's elimination were the biggest disappontement not only in this season but like so far in smtm as a whole thear eliminations were just so disappointing

Punchnello was in unfavorable condition back then and he had personal family matters and that just really made much difference in everything

Pene was up against Asol who did really well for a female rapper so that kind of amazed the producers (I personally favored Pene at that round but the shock of a female rapper doing really good was what played a difference in the final decision)

It woukd have been really great if they were still in!!

 

For Olltii,

I was seriously having so much hopes that he will first crush everyone in that diss battle round

And then crush everyone again in live performances (His punchlines from smtm3 seriously left so much impact!! His performances were just so good!!)

Wonjae's track is so my style

The lyrics the beat everything is just so my style

I just really like it!!

 

Nucksal and Woochan did really well as expected. I have yet to listen to the studio version but the live one was really so hype!! Woochan prescense is seriously no joke most important of everything, he is still young and he is doing this well!!

 

Junoflo blended in very well with G.soul

The stage was also excuted very well like all his gestures and all he is just really good

(All the producers were shook every time he swept his hair backwards )

 

DoPark choosing Jamezz over Woodiegochild was unexpected form my side

I always felt like Woodiegochild is more of a performer so they woukd favor him for that side but I still haven't seen Jamezz's performance for now. I think this is the furthest Jamezz have come in smtm (and he has bene in smtm since season3!!) so this is really considered amazing; happy for him to see how this actually payed off and he performed for once in live stages!!

 

For Maniac I still haven't seen the performance yet

But personally I think wether they chose him or not it sitll wouldn't have made a difference

The battle was against Junoflo and we all know that Junoflo woukd have won either way

He is so good!! + the audience are hyped for him!!

 

The only different is that we would have gotten a difference performance and different person for the track

But for the show it wouldn't have made much of a difference as I said

I personally think Junoflo would have won either way

 

 

Dynamic Duo so far are going the strongest

The possibility of a Dynamic Duo vs Dynamic Duo soon is suddenly not that far from happening

Most smtm viewers have been demanding and wanting Dynamic Duo in as producers for a while now and now that we have finally go at them in as producers they are just doing really amazing

Ok so I won't trust spoilers who claimed to know who win in the semi ^^

It was the same in some of Mnet shows (most recently Produce101)

The audience and people never know the results but somehow an accurate spoiler is always released

 

It is either that people geniusly predict them or that some staff just leak the results in one or another

Mnet has a clear problem with the their staff

Hashswan posted a photo on his IG and captioned it with: "Wonjae-ya is Santa really not real?"

 

 

I haven't watched all the diss battles yet but from what I saw

Wonjae's Santa isn't real and Woodie copying Killagramz and Hashswan is totally the highlight

 

And I can't belive Asol had to pull that 'you will become an idol' card...

I can't belive some are still using that as a diss

Just to point for her though, Zico is currently active under a rapper/idol title and he is there judging and producing in smtm and doing so work in it!!

I just though that that 'you will become an idol' card was just too weak to pull again

The front runner for each team seems to be

Dynamic Duo - Nucksal

Tiger JK- Wonjae

 

Dynamic Duo ad eprobanky the strongest, aside from Nucksal there is also Hanhae who is really good!!

 

With Wonjae expanding himself bit by bit if he manages to break away a little from his comfort zone in the public performances. His chance of winning is even higher! I am glad the show really brought him up to light for everyone to know of him since he really is good!!

Agree with most of you

Killagramz's song totally sounds better in the studio version

But I felt like Dean won over Killagramz there like you don't feel like he is main spotlight in the song

But seriously, Dean's part is totally killer his voice fits the song so much and it is just very nice to listen to

 

Hanhae's live is still much better though

Killagramz's voice was too sharp in the live and it made it less enjoyable for me, I guess many people acknowledge that he is good but I think his rapping style doesn't fit me that much

 

One thing happened and it was the thing I was most afraid of

That some contestants wouldn't be able to stand out as much as the producers (or the featuring artists) on stage

The thing happened to Killagramz, the main focus should have been him but ZicoxDean gathered a lot of spotlight too. This happened a couple of times in the previous seasons too

Like when Zico had much more attention in side with Cjamm or when Bobby stood out more than Reddy

I think it woukd be really nice if more contestants would be able to pull balanced stages in the future although sometimes it woukd be hard to balance and have more prescense than the featuring artists

Like Bewhy wasn't covered even a little bit by Jay Park, One's comfortable with SimonDxGray

 

Hanhae pulled it off great with Dynamic Duo and Chungha though so it was nice

And I hope we see more contestants pull it off like that in the future!!

 

I am kind of afraid for the contestant who will perform along side Jay Park and Dok2 if they will perform anything because their aura is really strong!!

 

I have yet to watch the episode to actually know what exactly happened to make Zico and Dean drop Hashswan

Read somewhere the he messed up during the diss battle... maybe they were scared he would trip up again after no mess in the stage performance... But it is seriously so much of a disappointment to see him dropped befor eactually performing on stage because I had so much expectations for him!

 

And since I didn't watch the episode yet

Seeing that each time eliminated one rapper... then what is the benefit for whoever won the diss battle round?

The team that lost the battle each eliminate a rapper I think. Or is that what you mean alrd lol

It was like that last year

Thought the preview this year shows all the producer teams standing their thinking about who to give the mic (though this is my interpretation of what I saw in the preview) so I just kinda inferred that all teams must eliminate one rapper regardless of who won

So what I kinda get from the recent preview is that every team has to eliminate one rapper... (?)

So the the track mission of last year where two rappers from one team made on song isn't there this season anymore...

 

Since this season we have s different number of people per team as compared to previous seasons (we got 5 per team and now they are 4)

The elimination process is starting to get confusing like we won't know how the elimination will be and on what basis until the episode is actually aired

I am going to be honest here

I knew Wanna One would do so good for their debut

But

 

THEY are breaking my expectations

 

I am seriously so happy they are doing much much better than we even expected

The start is so strong already

Rip everyone making a coming in the next few weeks

Smtm is starting so strong

Can't wait for the upcoming tracks when it comes to audience voted rounds

 

 

Each team's charting is pretty much as expected

I think DynamicDuo and ZicoxDean are going to hold up for the longest time

The hooks in both are so good!

Zico took it to his insta to explain that there was unnecessary tension shown in broadcast and that Olltii in reality is a sociable person who has a good personality ( something along those lines )

Hash swan also update something similar on his ig

It will be hard to make it high with all the competetion right now.

So even not debuting through the top10 is considered great I think!

+ with Winner's song and Heize reigning I think it would be quit near impossible to reach over #1-2

Dynamic Duo definitely my favorite overall. The hook was just so good!! Rappers all did so well too!

 

And one question though

Did mnet have to edit Olltii that way when he was going to be eliminated...

Strategically they could have kept him, diss battles are his specialty he could have been of great benefit for the diss round mission

 

Such a shame Olltii been the contestants I have been most excited for since the beginning of the season
