I may or may not have just spent the rest of my night listening to their other albums. I finally learned why Stupid Cupid is constantly mentioned by RV fans I am so in love with Cool Night though. They do really great slower-tempo songs in general, and this is coming from someone who isn't generally a slow-tempo song lover.

^Mirrorx2 was such a tragic era for Gayoon. ... And really anyone but Hyuna and Jiyoon. Jihyun got stuck with that bird's nest hair, Sohyun got that tragic-ass short haircut that looked glued to her head, and Gayoon got... whatever the fuck that was supposed to be. Like I really DK who she pissed off during those years but they did not want her to look good.

Well, it took a bit of doing (and the live) to grow on me, but I think The Velvet has officially converted me. I actually bothered to check out the album which is a rare thing indeed. So, hey. Not every casual fan hates it. I am here to spazz over how pretty the entire album is.

Well iirc their events manager promised not to go ott this time so they may get time to rest. I hope. I can see a second comeback in the latter half of the year being probable, ala Piano Man. As much as I would love subunits or solos IDT that RBW would consider it the right time to actively promote them outside of the Mamamoo unit. I remain hopeful that we might get something as a B-side though. I'm very interested in seeing the different sides of the girls and subunits/solos seem like a good way to explore that. Although I think focusing on Japan/China is premature at this point and likely to cause more problems than anything else, if there's a company I would trust to give it a go, it would probably be RBW. I could see a slow burn approach working, maybe. But I worry that full on debut at this point could affect their Korean standing since they'd be at risk of being out of the public eye for too long.

Lmao. I want to do this with my posters too TBH. But that's more for interior ~aesthetics~. Posters blu-tacked on the wall don't work with my aesthetic any more.
