i read the posts about wanting to have new OP

You guys are discussing about me and what i did with the OP without me present.no one asked me before whether i want to hand out the OP or not prior to discussion and i have to read them all myself after one user informed me about the discussion(that's very awesome)

 

First of all there are things that i need to clarify about OPing a thread.this will not only apply to this thread but also other official artist thread

 

im not sure if its because of some of the users are new and not familiar with OH rules or whatnot but its never an obligation for OP to provide regular update for the thread and the OP

 

as the rule states OP reserve right to include what OP wants in the OP and they cant be forced to edit OP and update it

 

Furthermore it is not OP obligation to promote the artist all over the forum or being active on the thread.what more important is the interaction between users with or without OP being present

 

I have provided regular updates on the thread in the past 2 and a half years because not many are doing it and i want the thread to move and users can get updates.

 

i am sincerely happy that we got many users joining us in this AOA thread and the thread are becoming more lively than before.that was my wish for this thread

 

i stop giving updates not because i dont want to do so or im too busy or whatnot but i see users participate in the thread by giving updates and i want to see it happen continuously instead of the same user doing it

 

I made AOA threads in the past out of my initiative to help promote AOA to other fans( i have more than 1000 topics made and majority of it were about AOA) but since we get more users doing that now i take a step back and give away to others to do so

 

I took over the OP before so that the OP can be updated consistently(and i have done so).

 

i dont realized having graphic OP is so important over having an updated OP with good content to help users to know AOA better in just one post

 

Seems like the thread is heading to a new direction with users in pressing need of drastic change of OP and my way of OPing is no longer relevant and welcomed here.

 

If thats the case im willing to let go of the OP to new OP that can ensure that they can take care of the thread for a long time and not just hype about it for some period of time and then dissapeared

 

its not necessary but it would be helpful if new OP can also keep and manage the amicable environment of thread from trolls and not just posting for fun.please also remind users to adhere to the rule (no double posting,no spamming,no antagonizing the thread,no posting of words such as curse words that broke the rule)

 

You guys decide which users do you want as an OP and let me know then,i'll decide who to give the OP to after that and do the OP transfer

I talked to some users and it seems that there is movement from some users trying to persuade other users through PM by listing reasons to agree that i should give out the OP to someone else and im the last person to know about this

 

This is basically a collective effort trying to drive me off the OP and the thread

 

And seems that the real problem here in this thread is not the question of whether im active or not on the thread and whether the OP is graphic fancy or not but the fact that im not letting users to spam,double post and doing whatever they wish on the thread that might break the rule

 

If you want to hold games or events use the forum games subforum to do so the official thread is not a suitable place to do so

 

Im very dissapointed with this.some of you posted and talked about me as if im not reading the thread and make assumption whether i am busy or not and how my contribution dont measure up and whatnot

 

No one ever asked me personally about letting the OP go and keep on going discussing why i should not be the OP anymore.this is very rude and disrespectful

 

You know what i said im giving away the OP,i'll stick to that but im keeping the OP until i see someone fit to be the OP.you cant make me give up the OP even most of you collaborate against me.

OP reserve right to keep the OP as long as they are active on the forum and you cant force them to give up.especially not by forcing me to do so
