Actually I would hope that if a member is in a relationship and knows that it is serious, then they should let the public know. I feel like serving the single man image (not explicitly, but always implied in an idol's image unless otherwise stated) when the idol is in such a serious relationship like KaiStal's (which is supposedly a few years long now) is almost like, well idk how to put this, lying to fans, who buy merchandise and concert tickets and basically support them financially. The toxic thing about Kpop is that it market idols in a way that make fangirls fantasize about them as boyfriends--there's no denying this--in order to make profit--there's no denying this either, so if an idol is seriously dating and not telling then it is like marketing a wrong product. My point is, Kai is talented, charismatic, and a great person, and if those are the (only) bases on which people should become his fans then why not coming clean with dating? Waiting a few years implies that a single-man image is crucial to Kai's success, and thus makes it quite fair that some people are leaving him because he's no longer single.

It's quite reliable. OP's a Kai fan and a long time, reputable GO organizer so she knows stuff about merchandise, plus there are screencaps and all. Oh well. I'm sure Kai's ID cards will sell out soon, it just takes longer than normal, but doesn't matter, sold is sold.

Xiumin's parents are so nice, cheerfully taking pictures with the fans in Vietnam right now.
