I knew about them before Pippi, but I never liked their songs, actually I thought that they'd already disbanded until Daeun joined Secret Weapon. I thought Pippi was a good song, so I started becoming more interested in them.

 

Same here, i remember seeing their name and some MV a few years ago. But I wasn't impressed and basically just forgot about them. It wasn't until Pippi that I really began to like them. Other people might be the same, this comeback came out of nowhere to people didn't notice them. But now that people like Pippi, I think their future comebacks will get more attention. Lets just hope their next song is anywhere near as good as Pippi.

What a low blow. Even though Hello Venus is the senior group I think from now on Hello Venus will be labeled "ASTRO's sister group" to become more relevant.

But it works both ways, people will say HV has a brother group also. So it makes no difference, and once they realize HV has like 7 MV's since 2012 they will know that HV was around first and was really popular in 2013.

Their group name is just ridiculous lmao, couldn't they do more research before naming them AIDS?

I did research a bit, which is why I know. obviously I didn't look fully into it to see every language, but knowing it's Spanish is good enough since Portuguese and French are both Latin also. As for yourself, if you read back, it's been explained many times the group name is NOT aids, its just a coincidence. The spelling is the same but pronunciation is different. They did not intentionally do this. Please drop it, it's not what you think. This group is pronounced as an urban (hip hop) way to say cider. As OP of this thread, I like to keep this place nice for people who visit in the future. I don't want every page to have "aids" written all over it, it's already bad enough.

It sucks because Junhee is really pretty and looks like she fits the group. I was hoping for more the same. Pocket Girls were inspired by car models. So the girls need to be gorgeous. The new girl looks too ordinary, imo. She doesn't stand out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hmm, I think they could have done a little better with the new member. I mean, it's not easy to compare to Jua's visuals, but their management should have done a little better. I might have to warm up to the new girl, but for now, I'm not blown away.

At least this thread doesn't move fast. I used to be in bigger threads, and if I disappeared for a week. I'd miss a lot, way too much to backtrack on. That's why I follow small groups.

It is really is, and the live perfomance was great, I'm guessing it was mostly due to poor promotion.

 

There are just small group, they don't have much of a fanbase to back them up. People just didn't pay attention or notice them. Most of the attention came only from people that knew the group already.
