Yes, Tyler Kwon's investment firm (Coridel Group) acquired Playback's agency (Clear Company) in 2015 and formed Coridel Entertainment.

Again, it's definitely possible, and it's actually what I thought would happen before I went to that meeting. But I did ask about their plans for Eunjin after Kpopstar, and the response was vague, but it seemed to me like they kind of want to push her as a solo vocalist depending on how well she does. edit: when I asked about Eunjin none of the other fans there knew who we were talking about and someone specifically asked "who is that? Is she a Playback member?" and the response was a very immediate no. And when discussing Playback the Coridel staff would make sure to specify "the four members." Either way it's something to speculate about I guess, and I'd be fine with her rejoining the group since she was supposed to be in it in the first place.

It's Seeart's song now. My understanding of the situation is that there was a mix-up due to multiple songwriters having credits/copyright on the song. Seeart's agency (Yama & Hotchicks) acquired the song through a production company that only consulted one of the songwriters. Yama & Hotchicks was not aware of the copyright issue or of the Playback version at any time until after they had already officially released the Seeart MV, when people started posting about it on SNS and Youtube. The issue has been resolved behind the scenes between Coridel and Yama & Hotchicks, and there won't be any kind of lawsuit or anything like that. At this point the Playback version was never going to be officially released, so there was no point to making a big deal out of the situation from either side. Based on what I have heard, Seeart's agency is substantially more upset with the production company than Coridel since it is hurting Seeart's reputation right before they are supposed to debut. Also, for what it's worth, the main Korean songwriter on the original Playback track has also posted on SNS that fans should support Seeart and not hold this against them, since the members had no control over what happened.

It's possible, but I don't think that Eunjin will be rejoining Playback. The impression I've gotten is that when Playback comes back it will be as 4.

I went to the meeting, basically the important thing is that playback isn't dead, and they will comeback in 2017. But no specifics as far as when in 2017.

They've all been taking Mandarin classes for a while, if they get shipped off anywhere it'll be China first.

The difference is that WJSN is under an established company with a lot of experience managing idol groups. I think Playback was better off under Clear than Coridel just because they will never be high on company's list of priorities (focus will always be Jessica). But there's nothing that can be done about that now.

Pretty sure it was an original. It was supposed to be released with the mini that they had mostly completed after their debut. But that mini got delayed for the I Wonder comeback and then delayed again (and probably just cancelled) after the Coridel transition. Anyways, the members are doing fine and the Coridel is keeping them busy with non-promotion related things, so the group is definitely not dead or anything like that. A comeback will happen eventually, but the company is taking things incredibly slowly.

Hayoung's birthday is coming up, so there should at least be some SNS stuff for that.

All of Playback's promotions happened before their company (Clear) was acquired by Coridel. After the acquisition anything regarding Playback was put on hold since Tyler Kwon's (and by extension Coridel's) obvious priority was Jessica's debut. So now we'll just have to keep waiting for Jessica's promotions to finish before they do anything with Playback. Not that it really matters, but if Clear hadn't been bought out I'm fairly sure Playback would have had a mini-album comeback already.
