Oh I agree that she didn't get a fair chance during her time with AS (same with Eyoung)... but my point isn't about how fans would react, who'd make up a small part of the audience, but the general public.

Those are fine attributes for being the leader. Being a centre is something different, it's about having that certain x-factor that grabs peoples' attention, and in that respect I think S I S I's point about wanting someone 'fresher' is fair (and underserving of all the negative votes) Think back to PD101 and Yoojung being chosen as centre, it instantly grabbed attention because she wasn't what observers would've expected, that in itself created interest. Show begins, you get to find out that she's cute & fun etc. Whereas Kaeun is a known quantity and, with all the best will in the world, isn't going to generate much interest. Don't get me wrong, I love AS and wish her lots of success... I just wish it was with AS. These shows are all about what interests the public, and the whole 'last chance saloon' thing is becoming a tired trope. If you don't grab the public's attention first time around, there's little reason to expect it to happen the second time. And yes I know the Japanese members will also be veterans, but since it's a Korean language show for a primarily Korean audience it doesn't apply so much, they're unknown quantities.

Yves joined through an audition on 25th October, which was after the last prequel was released. Don't know when Chuu joined but she had other auditions between leaving Music Works last July and joining BbC. No idea about Gowon, but I wouldn't be surprised if all the final four girls joined relatively recently and weren't in any prequels.

Your OEC heights are quite off, Choerry is about 162cm. Lip would be about 164-65 and Jinsoul 167 (I know its hard to tell sometimes 'cos in a lot of LTVs they're filming MVs and often wearing heels, but episodes like #173 show Choerry is not much taller than Haseul)

As things stand, these look certain - Hayoung (who is an all-round talent, and her cuteness is a hit) Haein (audience knows her, strong personality & good leader that seems to have struck a chord) Chaeyoung (personality is a real winner) Jiheon (positive & adorable) Then there's those have a good chance but definitely not certain - Jiwon (pretty, strong vocals, showing her personality well, I think she'll stay high) Natty (not done much to hold her initial attention) Nakyung, Saerom (both rising well & have peoples' attention) Then there's those who are on the fringes of the last couple of places - Jina (she has the looks, not much talent but she doesn't look out of place yet due to hard work) Seoyeon (another all-round talent, if she could bring out her personality to win people over she'd be a cert) Various others who would rise once they have the chance to really show off their vocals, Yeonjung-style (my personal bias would be Herin, she needs to do something to gain attention though)

The only rule to the age system is: How many calendar years you've been alive. That's it. Born on 31st of December 1999? Your age is 1, because you've been alive for one calendar year. The next day, 1st of January 2000, your age is 2 because you've been alive for two calendar years (1999 and 2000). If anything it's simpler than the Western system because there's less to work out. As for treating others as same-age, because the school year usually starts at 2nd of March, so anyone born before then should be placed with the previous year; that's why those who are 'early born' often see others who are a year older as the same age. But again, there's a simple rule here: Don't automatically presume anything. You speak formally to anyone until you both decide otherwise. For whatever reason, Yeoreum feels more comfortable with those of her calendar age than those of her school age. 'Kicking her out' is just playfulness
