  1. Negativity is bad so I'm going to be positive: First half we looked really good, unlucky that we didn't score. It really was just one of those days where nothing went our way, it was obvious after Alonso hit the post. On another day, Luiz/Rudiger/Alonso score their chances and we win. Kante looks like he's really settling into his new role, one of his best games this season. Kepa was good as usual and Rudiger and Luiz were really solid, defensively we were pretty good besides that 10 minute period after Leicester scored where we were just all over the place. I wish the entire team could have Rudiger's mentality.
  2. Mourinho is a real enigma, I have an impermeable respect for him and his legendary contributions to Chelsea, but on the other hand, he sold out our respect for him to gain the favour of United fans and hasn't been exactly respectful to us since we sacked him. I hope he takes a good, long break and comes back refreshed. Things are a lot more entertaining with him around. Now no one can argue that we're not the best team in southeast Asia now
  3. Yeah, been busy recently though so I haven't really had the free time to follow it as much as I'd want. I can't even watch the second leg of the final like I wanted because I got an exam Saturday morning and I have to get a good night's sleep for that, smh. I think we'll be fine, two away goals in Malaysia and second leg at My Dinh is a good advantage, but then again I said literally the exact same thing after the first leg of the 2014 semifinal and look how that turned out... We're better nowadays though and I really doubt we'll be as complacent as we were back then, I'm pretty confident we'll pull through. I certainly hope we do for your sake. I think United are causing you enough grief, if we choke this away you have my sympathies.
  4. You're welcome, Liverpool fans. That's was a classic organized Chelsea defensive masterclass, I've missed seeing those tbh. David Luiz was a brick wall, a complete 180 from that nightmare against Tottenham, MOTM for me.
  5. I think Kanté has to be played as an 8 in this system though, he doesn't have the skillset to play as the deeper midfielder in the 4-3-3 because Sarri's system needs a technically skilled player there like Jorginho to work. He just can't do the passing and linking that Jorginho does.
  6. We would've ran over Wolves if we had even an iota of finishing but unfortunately Morata and Willian don't have that. We need a new right winger and centre forward so badly, I'm sick of those two, especially that fucking diva Willian. Not to mention his refusal to pass to Morata which has cost us points this season. Also need a new centre back, Christensen doesn't start because he's just as mistake prone as Luiz. Alonso has been useless recently, Emerson needs to get more play time. Fábregas just doesn't work in this system, everything goes so slowly when he plays and he's just useless when pressed. There's so much deadwood to clear out and so much that needs to be fixed, we're not getting top 4 this year at this rate unless Arsenal, Tottenham, or Liverpool collapse or we have a legendary January window.
  7. Flames scored five in one period again, that's four times now this season. Came back from 1-4 down to win 9-6, I wish I could've watched it :(
  8. CHO scored and assisted on his senior debut, we stan talent If we mess this up and lose him, I swear to god he'll come back to haunt us like De Bruyne. Anyone with eyes can see his potential.
  9. 10/10 officiating today, Atkinson is actual garbage. He's not even bad for both teams, he's just calling everything against us. I usually don't like blaming officiating but I swear every call is going Tottenham's way. They're getting away with fucking mauling Hazard and if we so much as breathe near Kane, he falls and gets a free kick. I mean we're playing absolutely awful and we absolutely deserve to be losing but we wouldn't be 2-0 down if that clear as fucking day penalty was given. I'm getting pissed at people blaming Kepa for this, like you can't be serious right? That second goal was not his fault, it wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Luiz. He's single-handedly keeping us in this match, Tottenham ripped us apart like a million times but Kepa made some amazing saves. In my totally not reactionary opinion I think we need a new centre back, getting sick of Luiz making brain dead errors. e: Luiz with a 1/10 0/10 performance today, I'm actually impressed at how absolutely shocking he's been.
  10. Finally some free time to play Danganronpa, haven't been able to continue this game for a couple of weeks now Also Go Flames Go one more goal and we have a touchdown e: if we score just one more then the damage from that loss to Pittsburgh is undone, come onnnnnnn
  11. We're getting linked to Pulisick fucking lol, I really don't want his cult of obnoxious stans shitting on everyone in the team except for their god in our fanbase. r/chelseafc is already barely tolerable as is, if we sign him I'm going to have to find another forum. But I mean if Sarri wants him and he's available at a reasonable fee then I might be okay with it. There's no way he'd cost £70m like some sources are saying, it's definitely most likely around £40-50m, which is reasonably okay. Even with his revolting fanboys following and overrating him, I'd rather have him than Willian in the team. Like tf why is he still here.
  12. Ikr? He's the worst goalie in the league that's getting regular minutes and I can't be convinced otherwise, single-handedly lost us that Montreal game and probably even Anaheim, and that's just recently. We're legitimately a good team and we should be top of the division with a bullet right now, we're only third because Smith can't stop conceding soft goals. Rittich got his first career shutout and hasn't played at all since then, it's been a week since that shutout. Absolute joke. If Smith starts against the Oilers tomorrow I'm not even going to bother watching. I have better shit to do than watch McDavid score four against him.
  13. I refuse to believe that it's -7°, it feels like it's -20° The cold wind and snow feel like they're biting my face
  14. tfw when Kanté was named in the Football Leaks but it made our smol wholesomeness even more loveable It's impossible to dislike him. He is too pure for this world Click here to view the Tweet
  15. Have a presentation to do today and I've pulled my calf muscle while stretching, I can't walk. I guess it's going to be one of those days.
  16. He really seems like a great manager, I saw that fact on r/soccer that he's the first manager to win away at the Bernabeu and Camp Nou in the last 10 years and that's just incredible. I also read how he saved Las Palmas from being relegated and then they crumbled when he left. Also another quick question out of curiosity, if Barça win the double this year would you be okay with Valverde staying for 2019-20? Or is he a lost cause in your mind, no matter what happens? Hell yeah brother, cheers from Iraq #WEEDTHENORTH
  17. Aguero has mastered Ultra Instinct apparently, looks like a proper fuccboi e: THREE FINGERS I'm not super well-educated on this but would you take Setien if he was willing to join at the end of the season? He seems like a good fit, to me at least. His play looks really entertaining and attack-minded, although idk enough about him to know if he can fix that terrible defence
  18. Sounds a good deal for both teams (to me at least), Minny finally get to start anew with a decent return for a player who was actively hurting them (Rose/Teague, Wiggins, Covington, Saric, KAT sounds pretty solid) and Philly have a scary af big 3 now. I still think Philly are behind us, Milwaukee, and maybe Boston though. Although if they get some more depth and shooting then I'll start really worrying.
  19. This song is underappreciated imo, my favourite b-side from the Cherry Bomb album

  21. I never thought the DB franchise could possibly produce something nearly as bad as Dragon Ball GT, but wow... the DBS manga is absolutely detestable and deserves nothing but scorn and disdain. The manga's ToP arc is possibly the worst DB arc ever, which says A LOT considering this is the same franchise that birthed the loathsome existence of DBGT and its four horrid arcs. At least GT had some common sense and a little bit of what you could call "cohesion". The manga ToP arc doesn't even have that, the only things it has going for it are the absolutely asinine "so bad it's good" moments and the fact it's mostly drawn well. I never could have thought the manga could go any lower after how badly they mangled the Future Trunks arc but clearly I was wrong.
