There's some reports linking Coutinho to us as a Hazard replacement and yeah... idk. Let's just assume for a bit that our transfer ban will be delayed. On one hand, he was a legitimately amazing player with Liverpool. On the other hand, he's been a huge flop at Barcelona, I have doubts as to if he can play LW in this system, he's probably on ridiculous wages, he seems like a luxury player, and I generally really dislike buying the scraps from top tier teams. Also, how much would he even cost? There's no way Barcelona fully recoup the fee they paid, but he'd still be expensive af. tbh I'd probably still take him over Insigne or Dybala though (I don't understand why some Chelsea fans would want Dybala as Hazard's replacement, I understand Insigne, but Dybala? I don't see any way for him to fit Sarri's system). Yeah, it's not great. I heard getting rid of the stripes is part of their "rebrand" and trying to become a recognisable fashion/streetwear brand (like PSG), but it just doesn't look good. It looks even worse on broadcast, it's a jarring mess and an eyesore.

It's nothing new, he rarely comes up big in the playoffs. He gets paid 31 million for producing in the regular season and being an "All-Star", even though he can't when we play a good team in the playoffs. It's ridiculous because even with Kawhi and Siakam taking a ton of pressure of his shoulders, he's still playing like shit. All he's done is flail around and fail to draw fouls, over-pass, or miss his open looks and idiotic transition 3s. He's not the only problem or the biggest problem, but game 4 is a huge "prove it" game for him and the whole team. We have to win, if we lose then we probably lose the series and Kawhi too.

CanPL would totally be the best league in the world if it wasn't for the lack of VAR and the lax officiating (in this match at least), like Kyle Bekker throws an elbow to someone's head and doesn't even get a booking lmao The quality of play is honestly a lot better than I thought it would be, I was expecting amateur or semi-pro level of play, but Forge and York9 actually look like professional teams. But the absolute best thing about the league is the touchline mics so you can vividly hear all the yelling and cursing from both the coaches and fans.

What a horrible day. We don't deserve top 4, we've had like a thousand chances this season to take third place and we never take advantage. Kevin Friend is a terrible referee, only 5 minutes of added time lmao, those "pROpEr BrExiTbaLL" players spent like the entire second half crying on the ground. He was so biased towards Burnley, let them get away with fucking everything. Barnes and Tarkowski finishing the match without a booking is a farce. That second half was so painful, does anyone on this team know how to cross? Kovacic is a good player, but he and Barkley offer the same thing. He is just terrible in this system and I hope he doesn't come as a makeweight in the Hazard deal. If Kante didn't get injured, maybe we could've actually done something in the second half. Finally, as if all this wasn't bad enough, CHO has a ruptured Achilles and is out for the season. Unbelievable. Now we have to run with Pedro and Willian for the rest of the season. I'm just going into "idgaf anymore" mode for the rest of the season, this is so frustrating.

Wow, I'm done with sports for the rest of 2018-19 if we fuck up against Burnley tomorrow. Tottenham, Arsenal, and United ALL lost, if we don't take advantage istg... If you beat Chelsea next week (which I think is likely since Chelsea are absolutely hopeless atrocious away from home) then that probably takes us out of the running. That's how it is for Chelsea at least. Our squad and board in a somewhat similar situation tbh, not good enough. At least United can buy players this summer though.

MacKinnon is really good, unlike the Flames in that first period. Getting completely out-worked and out-played, no pace, no urgency, no physicality. Just nothing. No effort. Hazard is the best player in the Prem and no one can tell me otherwise. I am going to be so sad when he leaves this summer, but I'll be cheering him and Madrid on next year in the CL That game was so stressful, I can't believe we weren't out of sight by the 60th minute (we were unstoppable until that point) and how West Ham didn't score when they were attacking. Just terrible finishing tbh, we really need to improve that when we face Liverpool on Sunday. Playing Giroud ahead of Higuain will be a good start though, it's obvious by now who is better.

Hazard-Giroud-CHO was really good today. The way CHO plays is so important to have against teams that park the bus against us (which is like literally fucking everyone outside of the good teams). Also, it's crucial that RLC stays healthy for the rest of the season, he looks like a perfect fit for the LCM position. He is so much better than Kovacic and Barkley. If we can keep this up until the end of the season I'm going to feel a lot better about our top 4 chances. Can't believe we're still just one point behind fourth with how bad we've been these past couple of months. I think we finally have our Viagra (CHO and RLC), so hopefully I can start laughing about that joke, instead of crying Damn, does Pogba actually want to go to Madrid?
