Akari could still have a good 3-4 years ahead considering how late some front girls graduate nowadays and Miru 5-6

Guys, what do you think of JYPE giving Jackson a Chinese solo or single?  I think Jackson would be good with a Chinese love song (ballad).  Since Kpop cannot be promoted in China, I think JYPE should use this method to increase Jackson's popularity there as a singer.  I truly encourage this method even though it's an individual stan, not as Got7.  In the end, it will benefit the group too.  What do you think?

i'm not saying i'm against or for it, I'm just saying that individual popularity and stanning doesn't really translate in the group's fandom itself. 

Imagine if GSoul went to AOMG . GSoul seems to be following many of the AOMG crew. And he seems to have similar taste/style/music. I could see it. And AOMG is on .

 

 

And maybe it is because Minzy was poorly promoted in 2NE1 was but now has gotten a lot of love through Music Works but I really want Min to join them. I want her new company to do well by her. And it would be awesome to see a Minzy and Min collaboration.

 

Hmm... I feel like being on Unnies gave a very good push to Minzy more than just the agency change. Public opinion about her and her image changed 180 degrees thanks to Unnies.

I feel like going to Music Works wouldn't be enough to propulse Min anywhere (especially with how much the public seems to love to hate her). She can go the lowkey route and become a full time musical actress, but if she wants solos that do well, she'd probably need to appear on a show that would "redeem" her image to the public...

Bummer I'm guessing his old injury didn't get to heal properly. At least this is towards the end of tv promos so he can focus on getting better without feeling guilty  and if it's serious I hope they let him skip the Jpn showcases.

Idk if AKS can do much with Team 8 besides kennins. They are Toyota's first and foremost it seems... They are basically as distant as another sister group...

They can still promote a couple of 16 gens. It's been 4 months but Yamamoto Ayaka was promoted after 6 months while NakoMiku were promoted after 3 months, and there're girls with even shorter time. They're currently 18 girls, management can promote a couple and still have enough to fill a whole new team, so no need for scrapping when there's also gonna be a lot of kennins involved. 

 

 

There are 23 girls they can promote actually with the D2.

 

The logic is counting all AKB Girls who haven't announced graduation, there are 42 left. My process for saying they'd better scrap a team is that for the teams to function with little to no borrowing from other teams, there need to be at least 18 to 20 girls not counting the kennins (because we know just how many times they perform in AKB theater).

 

Here are stats from 2015 shuffle

Team A; 20 regular AKB members, 3 Kennins

Team K; 18 regular members, 5 Kennins 

Team B; 19 regular members, 3 Kennins

Team 4; 19 regular members, 3 Kennins

 

So teams have about 19 members each, for a total of 76 members not counting Kennins. Even by promoting all the KKS they would never reach that number.

 

If we say 4 teams of 16, it's 64 members. That would mean promoting ALL the current KKS to keep 4 teams (and reach a total of 65 regular members and no kks at all). My opinion is that if they do insist on keeping 4 team, they should scrap the current team 4, put those girls in A, K and B and give Team 4 to 16th gen (aka the new "new gen" team). but that would also mean auditioning 17th gen right away or at least rushing a Draft event to get a good couple of girls in ASAP.

 

And actually, even scrapping one team, they would need to promote 17 girls out of 23 (so 5 D2 and 12 16th gen) if we go for 19 girls... 

 

Actually, ya know, no matter what the scenario is, they probably need to rush Draft 3 or 17th gen real quick...

 

unless they plan on destroying a sister group and merging it with AKB  

I don't think GOT7 is to the 'Wild Bunny' level of crazy yet, lol. Sneaking out without the manager and partying all night; to the point where the manager hunted them down and chased them around a parking lot?! Lmao. That entire season was CRAZY.

Well, with Rina transferring, they are down to 42 regular members (not counting team 8 and KKS). They will definitely need to scrap one team and promote the D2 girls ASAP (and even with that, at 3 teams, not counting the kennins, one team would have 15 members, not 16)

i mean they do have to debut this boy group 1 day, the older ones are becoming kind of old (their five older trainees would be between 20 and 22 in 2019) So either they say goodbye to the older ones and decide to debut the younger ones in a few more years which would be kind of a d**k moves for these older trainees, or they debut them maximum before the end of 2018 i think

 

Well, in the years between 2PM's debut and GOT7's debut (2008, 2014) and Miss A and Twice (2010, 2015) they let many "older" trainees with great potential go... that's how the business is. It wouldn't be a first and it won't be a last. They don't /have/ to debut them no matter if they are getting older or not.
