Thanks for cleaning up some comments, but respectfully, the narrative itself is offensive. It's the same thing as starting a thread asking should we repeal same-gender marriage, or should we repeal Lawrence v. Texas and put sodomy laws back into effect. This "debate" is about putting trans people in danger by hypothetically forcing them to out themselves as trans to partners. It's offensive and should not be left up just because there's a little bit of good discussion. I have seen threads taken down, even recently, that had good discussions but people were using it to insult others or bash fandoms. So why not this one? If people want to discuss things in that thread like the difference between sex and gender or how we operate in a society of gender binarism like was discussed in the thread, there can be different threads made for that somewhere else. Also leaving that thread up sends a message to LGBTQ+ users that their safety is a good debate topic, without caring about the harm that those types of threads will do to said users. It's emotionally and mentally exhausting to constantly see your existence, value, and safety used for hypothetical debate topics as if you are not a real person, but just a hypothetical possibility. I'd also like to request a response by quoting instead of just editing the post please, so I can actually see when I've gotten a response in my notifications, if it's not too much trouble.

To give her the benefit of the doubt (idk if she deserves it but either way...) it's hard/weird to come up with reasons you like/love someone on the spot without using generic "they're a nice person/they're funny/they like the same things I do" type responses. My gf always asks me why I love her and it's hard to verbalize that type of thing for some people espcially if they're not good at putting thoughts and feelings into actual words (if that makes sense?). Or maybe I just really don't want to think that people Amber choose to hang out with would use her like that and am trying to make it not seem that way. We'll never know

Fans shouldn't have their status as fan called into question just because they don't buy albums. Buying albums isn't the only way to support a group and its shitty to make fans feel like they're less if they can't afford to buy an expensive album and get it shipped to god-knows-where or to buy songs online. Hm I tried reporting but the only option the mobile app gives was spam, so I didn't think that was appropriate and didn't know if this was the proper channel to take it to. I read bashing thread rules and it only said to not continue longer than a page which I didn't and didn't plan on doing, and not to quote to correct info which technically I also didn't do. I wasn't aware that calling people out on bigotry is against the thread rules because I did read them before replying to that person, but maybe because my English comprehension is not as good I didnt understand which part my replying fell under.
