Twitter is currently being really a bad space for Jesy right now, and that’s one of the things people are talking about… I didn’t know Trisha Paytas prior but when I searched her up I probably would’ve been reminded of her had I known her before when I see Jesy…
-
The blackfish claims are honestly just half of the problem, from what I see most people backed out from supporting Jesy because of how she handled the Nicki-Leigh incident. People who listened to her music are her fans and Nicki fans, there may be a few casual listeners but I think most listeners who aren’t fans only watched the MV and her performances for the laughs and the intrigue of seeing a black queen…
-
As we all know, Jesy Nelson left Little Mix for mental health priorities and since then has started promoting as a solo artist. She debuted with a song called "Boyz" featuring Nicki Minaj. Surrounding this debut, blackfishing claims had been more prevalent than ever specially seeing Jesy, a 100% white woman, having a darker tone than Nicki Minaj, a woman of color. Jesy had always been targeted of these allegations even during her time in Little Mix but after she left, she looked more of the (in stan Twitter terms) black queen she is. Jesy said no one told her about it during her time with Little Mix which she herself and Little Mix members contradicted soon after. The trio didn't give much detail when asked about it in a magazine interview but Jade Thirlwall said that they approached her in a very friendly and educational manner. Furthermore clips surfaced where Jade talke about eating so much where Jesy replied "but you don't put any weight" when during that time, Jade was anorexic and battling eating disorders and when Jesy was asked about if she talked to Leigh-Anne about the racism and hate she experienced where Jesy replied "No" and added "I knew it affected Leigh-Anne but she's better at dealing with it than me." Both Leigh-Anne and Jade appeared on Jesy's documentary and always showed nothing but support and love for Jesy. Jesy's popularity has always been anchored as a member of Little Mix and most of the people who vowed to support her solo debut are of course, Mixers. However, she lost the support of all Little Mix fans after the Nicki Minaj IG live incident. After Jesy's obvious drastic change in skin tone, fabricated screenshots of Leigh-Anne calling out Jesy for her blackfishing surfaced online, prompting Jesy fans and Nicki Minaj fans to reciprocate the animosity. Baddies (what Jesy fans call themselves) and Barbz (Nicki Minaj fans) claimed that the black woman is jealous of the white woman who is being questioned for appropriating black culture. Things only went downhill after Nicki Minaj intervened... herself. Jesy released a documentary in 2019 about her mental health struggles and the bullying she experienced as a singer.... however, when she did an Instagram live with Nicki Minaj where Nicki is humiliating Leigh-Anne, she was seen laughing and agreeing to what Nicki is saying about her former bandmate. Since then, Jesy Nelson lost the support of the millions of Mixers who wanted to see her succeed. Now, she became a laughing stock and is limited to a meme on Twitter, specially after her recent performance of her single on Jingle Bell Ball. Little Mix announced that after going on tour, they'll be having a break and promote individually. Fans assume that Jade will be pursuing solo music, Leigh-Anne will be acting, while Perrie will be focusing on her fashion brand. Their releases in 2021 weren't promoted because of Perrie and Leigh's pregnancy and maternity. That being said, Little Mix still remains the biggest western girl group and arguably, biggest girl group in the world. I honestly believe that if Jesy listened to the girls about the blackfishing, toned down her tan, did not collaborate with Nicki, or even tried to defend Leigh-Anne on the IG live, things would've been better for her. I genuinely wanted to support her but seeing her laughing like that while Leigh-Anne is being talked bad about really made me angry and heartbroken. Do you think Jesy will be able to bounce back after?

MNet will broadcast "Queendom 2" in 2022
SLY replied to GetRapper's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
I'd hope Rocket Punch but Mnet abhors Woollim groups so much so there's that... Anyways I can see WJSN, fromis_9, Weki Meki, Loona, ITZY, or Everglow there. April could've had a shot, CLC too but they're only 4 now, DIA too but the group seems like a lost case already.. -
No matter how Golden Child deserves every award out there like "Best Boy Group" or "Best Album" and the award I believe they deserve the most which is "Best Performance", it's not that disappointing and quite frankly I have ZERO expectations of Golcha getting it because we know the bigger names will get it regardless of merit, but for MV... These two MVs deserved so much better. The quality should've transcended whatever standards these awards show bear but so far... NONE. And as I'm seeing it, there will be nothing to expect at all. It's frustrating being a fan of not-very-popular group, innit? In 2015, Wonder Girls' I Feel You. In 2017, VIXX's Shangri-la. Now in 2021, Golden Child's Burn It and/or Ra Pam Pam...

This is from his recent web-drama "Shadow Beauty" where he plays the mysterious, creepy, and borderline psychopathic Kim Hoin! Though he's the male lead, he first appeared on episode 4 and his acting has been nothing but goosebumps-inducing. I know Bomin's a good actor for youthful, student, and dramatic roles but this is the first time he'll do a character like Hoin so I wasn't much sure but boy did he exceed my expectations!

Bomin just took his shirt off but they made him sound like a sex offender

Ever since becoming a trio, Little Mix had been doing nothing but kill it and impress with their superior talents and discography. Since Jesy left, Little Mix released their first single as a trio, Confetti ft. Saweetie, and since then has dropped their greatest hits album Between Us. I've thought about this a couple of times already, but what if it wasn't Jesy Nelson who left? Perrie is Little Mix's vocal powerhouse and she's mostly in charge of high notes and the stronger parts. Pez is literally irreplaceable and her parts would be very difficult to cover even if it's her talented bandmates but Leigh-Anne is next in line when it comes to belting and while she cannot probably do it as flawlessly as Perrie, she's still a capable vocalist on her own. Not to mention Jade too. Just like how Leigh-Anne would take cover for Perrie's role, Perrie will be nothing short of magnificent when it comes to belting but her tone is vastly different from Leigh's. I suck at explaining but Perrie's voice is robust whereas Leigh-Anne's voice is crisp. Jade and Jesy may be able to cover her as well. I honestly cannot picture Little Mix without Jade. Everyone in Little Mix have such strong presences that she's the one who tranquilizes the group and balances everything out. Jade sings like 50% of Little Mix songs and is the group's prime songwriter/composer. People would usually think she has the least presence in Little Mix but without her, a significant space will be empty. Seeing Little Mix perform without her just seems... off. I love Sweet Melody but its debut performance (attached above) was a very underwhelming one. What do you think? Will Little Mix still would've worked had it not been Jesy who left? If yes, which member?

Their casting for Altar Boyz was confirmed November 19 whereas their casting for On-Air was confirmed November 23. On-Air will be a live theater radio show and Y and Joochan will play themselves whereas Altar Boyz is a musical where Y plays Luke, a trouble-maker, and Joochan plays Mark, a closeted gay. Both members will simultaneously appear on both shows which they will be performing at the same time period.

Fanfare should've been their title track...

When I read that Pete Davidson is dating Kim Kardashian I instantly recalled Emily Ratajkowski's interview with Seth Meyers As a watcher of SNL I find Pete really cute and funny, he has a very likable personality. I think he's the type who doesn't look that much but to people he's close or has been interactive with, he's strongly attractive.

Actually there was one time where Pete said that he's not "big"... Ariana was the one who said he is well endowed, but Pete addressed this in his standup that the only reason why Ariana said that is because she is a small lady and everything to her appears big...

There was this time when Golden Child held a V-Live after a music show broadcast. Jibeom thought Bomin just went to the comfort room and he noticed Bomin still wasn't there during the V-Live so he was looking for him and he interrupted just to ask where Bomin is to find out he already left for a schedule. It's such a small moment but I find it really cute and heartwarming...

I enjoy girl group music more than boy group music... though it might just be Lovelyz having the best discography in all k-pop...

She's the 2nd Lovelyz member to sign with a new company after Mijoo signed with Antenna Music.
