    Door vs Amigo

Door Amigo (ft. Babysoul) unofficial lyrics video here I think these two tracks are equally great and would've been extraordinary title tracks for Eunbi's debut either way. Perhaps Door is for those who want to see another side of Eunbi while Amigo is for those who are looking for a Rumor continuation. I absolutely loved Soul's rap in Amigo too!
  2. Late but Hyosung is my most favorite female soloist in all kpop, solo debuts from my bias groups included. Her music is top notch and I'd FIGHT anyone who dares degrade her flawless discography..
  3. Both companies refused to release the contract details of Chaewon so none can be said right now, actually. What's believed to happen is the same arrangement as IZ*ONE where she will promote in a group comprised with members from different companies god forbid but is still managed and under Woollim. But its worth to be noted that there hasn't been any confirmation that a contract has been signed (someone pls correct me if I'm wrong).
  4. If the Hybe/Soumu grouo debuts god forbid and coincides with Starship GG's debut, I feel like there's a big chance I'VE will eat them up... I think they expected a hot welcoming response from the public after reports of Chaewon signing with them god forbid and Sakura in discussion but the response is mixed and from what I see in the international fandom, mostly negative. They shouldn't be too dense and know when not to continue whatever scheme they're brewing.
  5. Guys Who Drink - With Kyuhyun, Lee Jonghyuk, and Jang Dongmin. Airing on iHQ, Olleh TV, and Discovery Channel Korea. Ssap Possible Season 2 - With AB6IX's Jeon Woong. Primarily streamed on Kakao Page with delayed release via YouTube. Ssap Possible: melOn Station - With AB6IX's Jeon Woong. Live radio broadcast on melOn Station and delayed video release on Kakao Page and YouTube. Restaurant Next Door - With Kim Gura and Lee Jinho. Streaming on Netflix KR and Kakao TV. His popularity soared a lot because of Jangstar and he's now he's THIS sought after. I hope we get to see Jangjun in TV more!
  6. The one wearing red is Golden Child's lead vocal, Bae Seungmin, while the one wearing white is GOT7's leader-main vocal, JAY B. It was an intense battle won by only one point difference. Here's JAY B's face reveal:
  7. I don't want to be THAT type of fan but as a thesis/research enthusiast, I can't help but over-analyze Golden Child in different aspects??? I've mentioned before that Jibeom seems to be shining more this comeback, right? I was scrolling Golden Child's Twitter account earlier and I noticed that Jibeom's tweets get the most likes and retweets, and sometimes, by almost half of other members. His tweets even get a lot more rts/hearts than the most popular member, Bomin. Since the start of August, this tweet of Jibeom's selca has the most retweets and likes out of all @hi_goldenness tweets. And I noticed that Jibeom's fancams always has higher views (though by a small margin) compared to other members. He's always among the upper half who gets higher views. Now what intrigues me about this is that Jibeom is literally underutilized, lacks exposure, and is quite frankly not being promoted by the company compared to other members. Bomin, as we all know, is popular as an actor. Jangjun is the rising star of variety. Joochan has appeared on musicals while Jaehyun is also climbing his way up being an actor. But Jibeom, who has no major solo project since his King of Masked Singer performance in early 2020, is very popular to the point where it's comparable to those who have. We all know that Jibeom is a lead vocal and a visual. As a lead vocal, he doesn't have many lines and pretty much don't get the chance to showcase his vocals as much as the vocal line Joochan, Y, Daeyeol, and Seungmin in RaPamPam. As a visual, he isn't promoted as one AT ALL, while Bomin and Jaehyun are regarded to as the group's center and most appealing members. With all these into consideration, just WHAT makes Jibeom so popular? I have a few ideas. 1. His King of Masked Singer appearance raked in a lot of fans who chose him as their bias member. - Possible, but I don't know a lot of instance where a KOMS appearance helped a group become popular in the long run. 2. He's funny. - Possible, but wouldn't that translate to Jangjun and Joochan too? 3. He's regarded to as the main visual with Bomin. - I've seen this a lot but more on Korean forum sites (Pann, TheQoo). When the talk is Golcha visuals, it's always Bomin and Jibeom being talked about only with a sprinkle of Jaehyun, TAG, and Sungyoon. 3. For no reason... He's just popular among fans. - There may be no actual explanation to his following at all, he's just likeable and makes everyone his fan. As I over-analyze Golcha's situation, I'm starting to rationalize Woollim's decision of putting him at the back and not giving him exposure: because even without it, he still has a place in Golcha. But at the same time it frustrates me because if Jibeom is already this popular within the fandom without promotion, how much more if he was treated right? ALRIGHT THAT'S IT I'M SORRY TLDR I'M DUMB THANKS
  8. Yup, 1993 liners only have until this year before they enlist. It's Woollim norm to do a repackage every after full album so we can expect another Golcha comeback within this year but whether Daeyeol is in it or not is ambiguous. The scene on Rapampam MV where he "dies" while Sungyoon tends to him awfully seems like a sendoff for Daeyeol and symbolizing of the transfer of leadership to Sungyoon..

  10. Judging from the song's snippet, she will be featuring as a rapper! To those who don't know, Babysoul is Lovelyz's leader, main vocal, and main rapper. She actually auditioned at Woollim as a rapper but ended up as both a rapper and vocalist. For some reason, Woollim never let her rap in a title track since debut but already provided rap for Lovelyz songs and her solo song "She's a Flirt". Here's a compilation of Babysoul's rapping! I'm extremely excited for Amigo because aside from Woollim's two multi-talented leaders collaborating, the song sounds amazing already. It's got a title track feel to it but is not, and the title track is a song called Door which sounds amazing as well. Anticipate Eunbi's solo debut on August 24!
  11. I'm not even a TXT fan neither a Jessi fan but I really enjoyed this! Jessi has such a strong personality but the boys took it well, way better than other people who encounter Jessi by which some still gets overwhelmed by her even if they met a lot of times before.
  12. Am I the only one noticing that Jibeom is being more noticed for his visuals this era? Jibeom had always been mentioned when the talk is about visuals but I have this weird feeling that it's even more strong RaPamPam era...
  13. Yes!!! They very well deserve every single bit of success they're experiencing and will experience in the future.
  14. Adding more mentors seems unexpected.. Tiger JK and Bizzy are already the rap mentors, Sunggyu and Kim Jongwan are the vocal mentors, Lia Kim is the dance mentor. I'd understand if they add more dance mentors since Lia Kim alone would be very hard for her. Broduce had 2 mentors for rap, vocal, and dance. Or does the wildness of the show warrant more mentors? By the looks of it, Jun.K, Niel, and Taeil are main vocals so there would be 5 vocal mentors? And did they just cast an idol to be a mentor for... physical fitness? I mean yup Minho is physically fit and has a gorgeous body sculpted by the gods but wouldn't an actual physical trainer (like Egg Kim, if they want the clout) be better for them?

  16. Really? I got into Secret late (I’m In Love era aka last era) and I tried to rationalize their mispronounciation of “magic” since it bothered me at first but I can’t find any proof it was done on purpose back then… Nice to know!
  17. I remember being sort of bothered by Secret's Magic which they pronounce as mazik instead which apparently was intended. Nevertheless, I love Secret so I didn't care much, it still blasted my playlist~
  18. DSP is shit but among their artists, they are nicest towards Youngji (and Naeun, before) compared to the rest of their roster. Even after KARA, Youngji is still pretty active and up 'til today, she has many appearances. She's a part of tvN's Comedy Big League, has hosting/MC-ing gigs, and even does acting. I'm sure Youngji would do as well (even better) if she switched agencies since she already made a name for herself but I understand why she renewed.
  19. They are the 3rd boy group to ever debut inside the Digital Song Sales chart after BTS (numerous times, highest #1) and Verivery (GBTB, #44) and 4th k-pop group including Blackpink (numerous times, highest #2). For the World Digital Song Sales, they are along Seventeen, NCT U, NCT Dream, iKON, and GOT7 to peak at #2. Boy groups who achieved #1 include NCT 127, TXT, Big Bang, Stray Kids, BTS, EXO, SuperM, Monsta X, and Verivery. Congrats, my boys!
