Lmao.. why don't you say its how you saw things rather then the larger audience because as you may know people differ in things they like generally in life but that was not the case in Heirs. Kim Tan/Eunsang was the peoples couple by far margin. Nobody even ships youngdo/eunsang its non-existing but yes some say they prefer them but a tiny few minority who dosen't even ship them. Yes LMH is popular actor but heirs was one of his success that so him gain more fandom and perhaps the one he gain most while Boys over flowers and City hunter are close 2nd and 3rd. I lurk here sometimes because I like DO and especially because of its okay that's love and perhaps a distant fan of his. would definitely like to see him in a LMH drama next

Go to Soompi, Youtube and SNS everywhere Tan/Eunsang created largest shippers called Minshin and has the largest threads on soompi as well.. the Young-do thing is just a few minority thing to non-existing. You said the second supporting roles got nods which is true but not even 5% of what Tan/Eunsang got. I would even say that Minshinners were the largest shippers in Kdrama history ask anybody who goes around sniffing on the internet. who the fans most loved was without a doubt Kim tan who gained arguable 15-20mio fans on SNS within 4months beginning from the time it aired Kim woo bin got just 1/2-mio fans on sns.. Shippers, fans and everything else was Kim tan/Eunsang

Lets be objective here first. The so-called heirs drama was successful on so many fronts that its even going until today by topping DramaFever watchlist top 5 for 2 straigth years next week. new drama fans always watch it and love it but around the time it aired there was fanwars everywhere even in the drama threads allover the internet. My analysis of what happened in truth. 1. alot of other actor/actress fans saw the huge hype train and shippers it gave birth to which made them feel insecurity. 2. other Idol fans were not happy about krystal slaying in there and not there bias. the hate it got was never objective
