no the way you frame your arguments comes off as you getting overly defensive it doesn't really help and it just kind of turns more people off

It's probably not so black and white as you make it seem. Given that Cube is not public yet, remember that it is private entities that own Cube right now. I wouldn't be surprised if those same private entities have a big share of ACube as well, so in that sense Cube owns it (both companies make the owners money, so there is incentive for both to do well and gain profit). Once it does goes public however, Cube may not have anything to do with Acube and Apink officially, at least on the management and on the financial side. You can already feel that there is some distancing that is going on. Cube's future investors will likely be unable to touch Acube's financials, but that doesn't mean that they have no control over what goes on at Acube. Even after going public, you can expect those same private entities as before to still have a significant number of shares in Cube (and keep their shares of Acube) so they can unofficially influence things going on at both companies. When Apink wins awards, they usually make the distinction between Representative Choi and CEO/President Hong though. Clearly Hong still wields a lot of influence.

it wasn't. it was going to/coming back from an event. i remember it and i think they posted it because of how paparrazi it looked, more like a joke. extra doesn't usually stalk, and eunji seems friendly with him.
-
she used to be their english tutor in korea - she's from the us. i know she was close to yookyung, and at least kept in touch with eunji and bomi before she went back to the us. i forgot her twitter, someone might be able to link you to it - there were pictures

doubtful. thailand is a very common vacation spot for east asians. i go there a lot too and there are a lot of chinese, korean, japanese tourists everywhere. probably an apink fan saw her there and posted it on weibo.

exactly, it doesn't matter. though i might see it from a different way. if you're a celebrity, you get special treatment to some extent. even for those other idols that say they didn't get it - they did. it's implicit. but it doesn't mean they deserve it any more or any less. being a (talented) idol should be treated as kind of like an extracurricular activity - it adds to your portfolio for someone in the performing arts. this is all coming from a holistic admission system like in the US, though. if korea's admission system is SOLELY on test scores, then all you would have to do is show proof of the score. but that doesn't make sense for a performing arts department. what does matter is - after you get in, you should be treated on the same level as your peers since you are taking the same classes, learning the same material and taking the same tests.

chinese fans are on a whole different level. most of the giant donations at the main entrance are made by chorong (choblossom is freaking rich) and naeun's chinese fansites lol. only eunji's korean dcgallery one compares and the rest of the individual k-fansites are inside...crazy. i wonder if there's a big combination one from the k-fanbases that hasn't been shown yet? i thought a few of the main sites (apinkjej, sparkler, etc) banded together to make a group donation.

I saw a different translation where it from the point of the dancers, like Apink bought us new clothes when we couldn't afford it - meaning the dancers couldn't afford it, not apink. Someone should clarify that.

I like the idea of it, but there's nothing about the execution of it has kept my interest. The name is boring and the song was honestly pretty boring to me too (ehh Brave Bros). A good subunit to me is Orange Caramel, which is so unique and so different from AS. If Acube can bring something like that to the table, then it would be a smart move, but the current incarnation of it is just so forgettable. I'm saying this from the view of the public - fans will love it, but it doesn't do much to capture the attention of non-fans IMO. Bomi and Namjoo are decent singers, but there's no clear direction with the subunit - no style or concept yet. If Acube can execute it well in the future, than that's one thing - but I don't have a lot of faith in them to produce something unique, so...yeah. That's how I feel with Acube and Eunji's solo. She has SO much potential seeing as how her duets pretty much all have hit #1, but I don't think Acube knows how to bring it out. I hope she pulls from her idol and industry friends and makes something great...but yeah, I don't have too much faith in the company alone.

they have the start of a following there, so it makes sense to at least try eunji and chorong and naeun already have (small) chinese fanbases/dedicated fansites there, plus they seem pretty popular based on their baidu bar rankings. chinese wgm fans are kind of crazy though, hopefully they aren't still running around with taeun banners if apink expands into china.

one time appearance. it's a brand new show with sung si kyung, jeon hyun moo, and jang dong min as MCs. eunji's the first female guest for the show. it's a talk show about something to do with guys trying to understand female psychology and she's going to be like the virtual date or something, so i think she's a main guest.

Honestly though, predebut and early debut Namjoo was not very good. I would really hesitate to use those covers to non fans to prove a point - her control was not good and she would scream most of her notes. She was young though, and improved her control so much during that hiatus before Nonono and now she's definitely on the level of all other other lead vocals. I'd use harmony and a lot of the secret and recent acoustic performances to show that she can definitely sing. Now she's great and I think she has definitely earned a place to do features and collabs...but I don't think showing those early videos will impress too many nonfans.

bomi listed amber as one of eunji's idol connections in that starcast thing. eunji makes friends really easily but usually you can tell where they have met (through filming a variety, drama, musical, etc) or they have known each other for a while. there are a few that have really come up out of nowhere though. but i'm so glad her and ailee are friends, since she seems really cool. you can kind of see them playing here way back in 2011 there was some fancam after a gayo when eunji is walking with amber (2011 i think), there are some pictures of them talking at music shows, and there was that bts vid back in this year's golden disk. they have interacted a lot of times.
-
since when did ailee and eunji get to know each other? all of a sudden they are everywhere together - dancing at the kbs gayos, ailee's instagram pic, and right now i just noticed them talking together in the background at the end of the mbc gayos.... i wonder if it's through amber? since amber/ailee are bffs and amber/eunji have been friendly since like 2012

Namjoo seems to be close with other idols that are the same age as her (a lot of them went to the same high school) like Sungjae, Hyuk, Ricky, Junghwa, etc. They are all 95 liners.
-
zico is from block b. he's not known to be close with namjoo or any apink member at all, although there were ridiculous rumors before that zico and eunji were dating (it came from a joke post which led to eunji and zico being a search topic).
-
i think she's standing there so ali (in the short hair and black dress) - who is also pretty respected senior singer - could stand in the front? you can see that when apink won, eunji and ali held hands for a bit. ali posted a picture of her with eunji on instagram last week and i think they met during immortal song.
-
those outfits are atrocious. pretty sure eunji just threw up a little at that bubblegum pink monstrosity. it's like the stylists are saying don't mess with me or else this is how i can dress them. seriously, get new stylists. i really hope chorong didn't contribute to the outfits...
-
bomi can handle the bridge, it's just that her high notes are thin and pinched. she strains them but she can reach it
-
if eunji doesn't come then bomi might take over for the live perf but they will most likely play the precorded perf someone said it was luv acoustic version and eunji's playing the piano for it? so i doubt bomi can take over for her there lol
-
they performed it together at huh gak's concert recently but it is the first televised perf if eunji doesn't show up then it's going to be pre-recorded (fanacct said they performed like 3 times yesterday). bomi just stood in for eunji on stage while the huh gak x eunji perf was showing, she didn't sing anything and just played with the fans
-
because of the drama they were on together. nobody outside the fandom even knows that sungjae and namjoo are friends, and i'm not sure if sungjae is close with bomi at all. bomi needs to be really careful not to go too wild with her image though if she gets on the show, or else there will be backlash for not taking it seriously. but namjoo and bomi are the most athletic and would suit the physical aspect of the show the most.
-
am i missing something? it seems like eunji was trending #1 on nate for literally no reason other than her kbs gayo red carpet look lol @ the relevance
