which is totally fine, but the problem is that they are very vocal about being taeun fans specifically. the taeun fans are pretty prominent outside of korea, and it always seems like naeun has to be extra cautious or else she risks pissing people off. it sucks, but it's true and the burden is always on naeun - and never on taemin because boy group and different standards and they never get blamed for anything. if they chill out with the couple signs and banners in public events like this one (and continue shipping and supporting them on their own with birthdays and all of that), naeun would probably be a lot less uncomfortable. who knows, maybe it will be better for this concert.

Keep in mind that a school junior/senior relationship in Korea is different from your typical friendship, which is maybe why they haven't interacted much after debut. Almost like when Apink talk about other idols as being good seniors to them (Nicole/Tiffany from what I remember) and other groups talked about Apink as being good juniors...they have a good relationship and take care of each other but doesn't always mean hanging out and that type of stuff we typically think of without the age/seniority baggage.

Just because that whole thing/scandal happened doesn't mean that Yewon's a totally bad person or a bad friend to everyone. It looked like a bad situation and bad clash of personalities plus a horrible agency response. That doesn't make her an evil person just someone who has a good and bad side like most people.

Maybe not. It's just a game so the apink characters are still there. To me it looks like they are recording a special soldier character and they will help them promote it.

Yes, it just opened and it looks fantastic! If you click through (on Eunji's little finger lol), and then look through the tabs (4th from left), they have a list of pretty much all of the official Eunji and Apink MVs/BTS/CF videos, all organized by date. It looks like a really good resource.

Regarding the fansites, I know some just closed but also a few also just opened: Group: 110419.com or apink0419com on twitter (looks like a nice one that should be active) Eunji: jeongeunji.com or jeongeunji_com on twitter (not too active but does post) Eunji x Hayoung: ehsoo.com or ehsoo_ on twitter (not too active but does post) Also, Fedora (Eunji biased) and ego_ybm (Bomi biased) from All The Memories is definitely still active and posting new fantakens on twitter (not sure about who covered Naeun in ATM) so it seems like it's just the site itself that is closing, and at least 2 of the fansite masters are continuing on their personal sites.

Based on the picture, it looked like it was for money reasons. It's really expensive to follow a group around and run a fansite. Fedora (I think he's the one of the masters/eunji biased) shows no sign of leaving the fandom though, so...

I heard he was going to the army though, so unless he starts posting fantakens the way he used to I wouldn't say anything about being active as a fansite

it's pretty well known namjoo and hyuk are 95 line friends. the rest of them formally bow to each other if you watch fancams, so it looks like they may be acquaintances but probably not super close or else you would see at least an interaction or two like you do with namjoo/hyuk and eunji/leo...instead you get them awkwardly passing by

the endorsement was eunji and siwan from the beginning, and naeun was added in after eunji and siwan were announced and had a shoot already. maybe they just had extra advertising money for that promotion cycle and decided they wanted naeun for it.

honestly, i've seen how the nb comment section has changed over time (gotten worse, i remember back when it was civil before a lot of people from akp and oh moved over there) but nb doesn't have anything against bomi or apink. it's true that she translates negative articles overall because that's what usually gets more upvotes (and the korean articles themselves have more traffic so they get pushed up the rankings). it doesn't come out as biased to me because pretty much every idol gets one thrown at them every so often. bomi wasn't really at the top of the search rankings or anything this week, so to me it seems much more like it was a request for her to translate (also the upvotes are low on the article anyway). sometimes people will be like translate an article about apink please!!! and of course some of the ones at the top will be negative ones.

Basically this - before an article about her wouldn't have even gotten that much traffic because she wasn't known by the public. It's not a scandal, it won't hurt her or apink in the long run. Those knetz that commented probably will never like her anyway. She may have gained 5000 antis but there's a good chance she gained just as many new people that like her that didn't know who she was before.
