Well this time around all the solos are Korean songs, so that's why it was included. They probably didn't want to deal with the licensing and possibly being sued with Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo, and Chorong's solos for the last one.

Also to prevent themselves from getting sick on long plane flights.

Bomi has been on. Besides this show is more of an interactive talk show and listening to other people's problems, not so much physical comedy type of variety so I'm not surprised with the members who guest.

Maybe her dad changed his mind later, maybe by "her household" only meant to refer to her mom, it's not that big of a deal. A lot of nuances and small things get lost in translation.

she's probably just nervous or more likely sleep deprived. my hand shakes and i'm super jittery when i'm sleep deprived. i'm sure the taping was in between huh gak concert, practicing for gayos and practicing for the upcoming us tour. i don't think there's anything wrong with her voice, she's usually a very healthy singer who doesn't strain a lot (and she's not really straining that note, or else it would have come out screechy). eunji just needs some general rest after this.

I don't see anything wrong with reusing and mixing and matching outfits. If that saves them money and keeps the girls in a nice apt, then so be it. The stylists putting them in bad outfits is the bigger problem.

it also probably has to do with who the collabs are with and the type of music they will be doing. eunji would not be my first choice when doing a collab stage of a hip hop/dance song, while bomi or namjoo would be really overshadowed in the luna/ailee/solar collab. bomi and namjoo do best with more r&b, hip hop, & light/mellow music, whereas eunji is best at ballads, powerful and rock songs.

eunji continues to show that she has the best music taste by recommending kim yoonah's song. from her k-indie recommendations to her love of yoon mirae and gummy and big mama - the girl knows her music and has some of the best female role models. tbh for most kpop idols it's always ses or finkl or snsd or beyonce. but so glad eunji brought up kim yoonah - my absolute favorite korean singer! i hope she covers a jaurim song sometime. for those of you who don't know kim yoonah/jaurim -

what they could be alluding to is not the type of CF but korea's history of sponsorship and corruption in the entertainment industry...like a CF contract could come with hidden strings attached (dates with executives, etc.) i mean there's always the issue of making sure the CF aligns with their image. but there could be another reason behind the scenes... besides, it seems like the big 3 usually have longstanding contracts with certain companies and smaller companies don't have that luxury.

IF (big IF) the rumor is true and the real SGG cast actually followed this acct, there's a small chance that it's her real insta but it could just be a private account for friends only. as long as the account stays private and there are no public posts, then it could actually be legit. but yeah if stuff starts being posted on that acct, then wouldn't trust it until the company verifies it...

most comments are guessing sunggyu and eunji, IF the rumor and details are true. woolim is still considered small and has bad pr (from the L fiasco). then again this entire thing can be made up. if it has to be someone in apink, i would hope it's eunji. right now she's the only one who can recover from this type of news - whereas naeun/chorong/hayoung have a lot of young male fans and there would probably be chaos in the fandom. at least people are used to seeing eunji with male idol friends, kissing on screen being linked to her costars (ahem seo inguk).

bomi's unstyled hair is such a hot mess. she needs to stop dying it after this comeback. on the plus side, naeun's hair looks really good.

No, it's just that Ilhoon/Bomi leaving coincided with Hyungdon moving agencies to FNC, so some people are suspecting that FNC played a role since they have more power now. But we'll just wait and see if they replace them or eliminate the segment entirely - if they replace them with someone from AOA for example, then that would be a lot more suspicious. However, it could just be that they are eliminating the segment (Weekly Idol is popular on youtube and with fans and stuff but doesn't necessarily get high ratings or anything), in which case that sucks but no cause for drama.

it's not acting at all. she's supposed to take classes, hang out with the students, and fit in just like she's a freshman in high school again. the only thing i'm worried about is that the school she's going to is a private boarding school (rich kids?) vs a regular public school so i hope the students aren't stuck up, plus i think the curriculum is more advanced than typical korean high schools. either way, eunji should be a good fit for the show since she has a way of making people feel comfortable around her and being really social no matter the age. one filming usually equals 4-5 episodes, so we should expect to see her on the show every week until august.

it's the hair to me. i don't like her as a bleached blonde...it makes her look kind of fake and plastic. same with sojin too. and bora. the hair really needs some dimension...it looked fine when there was a lot of pink in it but it seems like the pink was just temporary hair dye/powder.

it's definitely not cd voices, since they sound different (and not as perfect as on the cd). but in some parts it does sound like a pre-recorded live voice for the visual line - they are all actually ok when doing ballads, but singing while dancing isn't really the visual line's strong suit.

you are listening to the real vocals though. the reason why it sounds off is because they are using majority mic feed for the audio, instead of including any backtrack or the audience sounds. if you want to hear how apink really sound live, flaws and all (well clearly there was something up with eunji's mic, since it cut out during a song and the volume was too low, you could see her asking them to up it) then that's what you get on the dvd

her forehead looks pretty much the same, plus there was no time she could have gotten them. the only ps bomi had was her eyelids (before debut) but i don't think she's had anything else surgically done since then. if your idol totally disappears for a month, then maybe yeah they had ps (not counting botox or fillers but whatever, everybody's favorite idol has gotten that), but most of apink has had nonstop continuous schedules since 2013.

chorong is writing lyrics not composing. eunji is composing and bomi is trying to learn how to compose as well. anyhow i think chorong is more focused on dance anyway

No, Chorong's skills are probably the same. I don't think she got worse. One high note in the studio version of one song doesn't mean that she was better before - it just means that she was able to do that note once during recording. Chorong has never been a strong singer, and I don't think she ever really will be but she's gotten generally more stable live (before she was really breathy but since the concert she seems to have improved). Studio recordings don't truly reflect how good a singer is since they can record it multiple times, or remaster voices in the studio. All of Apink are can sing live - even Chorong and Naeun, who are the weakest singers are stable in ballads when they aren't dancing (unlike some other members of groups I won't name that can't sing live at all). Chorong has some issues with support and breathing but is generally on key, while Naeun has more problems with going off key but she also has a slightly stronger voice. ANYWAY As someone who has actually been to multiple Coachellas (I've gone every year for the past 3 years) - that photoshoot set is NOT a Coachella concept. NOT AT ALL. That set is more hipster bar themed, but that makes me happy because I wanted them to do a hipster concept since after NoNoNo. Looking forward to it and hoping the stylist knows what she's doing. And their teaser pic is more boho-lite summer music festival than anything else, but trust me, it doesn't look like a Coachella concept to me. I really hope that's not what they are calling it at all.

not true, hyorin also got a lot better since then and ailee is still the best idol singer. but eunji is just a small step below them. she has her issues that she needs to improve on. but at least eunji doesn't really have too many bad habits, just things she needs to practice and refine more with more practice. and she's also still behind them in musicality. i would say that eunji has the most versatile voice though

are you kidding me? BTOB and Apink are obviously friends and support each other, and why shouldn't that carry over to on stage? While Apink is more popular than BTOB, you don't think that BTOB's support can also actually HELP Apink as well? Like I'm sure everybody agrees that Namjoo needs more opportunities, but I'm going to be honest and say that Sungjae is probably the trending ticket in that duet right now. Beast promoted Apink when they were rookies too. Predebut Apink and Naeun were featured in Beast's MVs, not to mention Kikwang being in I Don't Know and all the tweets they made supporting their debut. And all the ACube for Seasons duets. You really like to downplay the role of Cube (and even Eunji/Reply 1997 and Naeun/WGM to an extent) in Apink's popularity and rise for some reason.

it looks like they did a good job timing the duet to release just prior to the wgm announcement, since that would get people searching for sungjae. now if only acube actually knew how to capitalize on timing apink's comebacks
