yes, there was a huge focus on 2016 dramas, which obviously has the upper hand because it's the most fresh in people's memory and has the highest ratings since all of the previous dramas have helped bring tvn to what it is today. i'm even a little sad there was no mention of queen in hyun's man or gaksital, though i'm not sure they deserved bonsangs but at least a shout out! i feel like misaeng was underappreciated as well but the show was dominated by OHYA and R88 as pretty much the 2 most recent dramas with highest ratings. i even enjoyed a lot of OHYA but them being #2 on the best kiss list when that kiss was just...really rapey. i stopped watching it after that episode tbh. and i think a lot of other long time drama watchers would agree. i've been watching kdramas long long before kpop.

well in a sense they gave it to shin PD (so glad it was basically just his acceptance speech and nobody else's) more than anything. as a PD he deserves it. i would have preferred signal get the daesang for drama and shin PD get his very own daesang. even shin PD straight up acknowledged that without R97 the rest would never have happened. i'm glad it was the senior actors that got the acting awards, they really deserve it.

they don't though..with the exception of eunji's solo and duets, apink hasn't actually hit #1 on melon as often as you think. their songs tend to have a lot of longevity.

even you sit there and refresh the page the order randomly changes...nobody knows what it all really means anyway, if the rankings are cumulative or if it's just a snapshot. who knows what's going on, i would be suspicious if they actually award it to certain people over eunji, but also wouldn't be surprised if doojoon and eric win if it's purely fanvoted. i would just keep on voting for eunji and see what happens, you can't really predict it.

I'm basically watching it for park sodam and ahn jae hyun. hyeji annoys me a lot as a character, and in the previews it looks like she is going to annoy me even more - i can't really watch her scenes at all.

I don't know if I want Eunji and Inguk to win best actress/actor over some of the older veteran actors - if anything, Sung-dong il who played the dad should win something for this versatility in multiple TvN dramas. But that's probably not going to happen since it's fan voted, so I hope they win over some of the other idol actors with big fanbases. All For You is still one of the most iconic OSTs now, and they absolutely deserve to win for it (and perform!) if they are giving out an award. I almost feel like Eunji/Inguk/Reply 1997 needs to win their own special award just for their achievements - I just want TvN to recognize how much of a game changer this seris was.

Most older groups can get away with skipping the event entirely or will just send a few members (because they actually like playing the sport or to MC or something). It's such a long shoot and a huge waste of time, plus the potential for injuries - but for rookies, its a way to get their name out so they'll sit through the whole thing and risk that. I-fans love it for the interactions, but really it's a waste of a day. Now that we know that Eunji also helps evaluate the Plan A trainees, she clearly is doing a lot more work behind the scenes than we thought, plus I'm sure she's still producing/writing. Naeun is doing a lot of photoshoots and fashion stuff, and maybe Chorong just didn't want to go or is working on other stuff too. Besides, Naeun/Chorong aren't great at variety, so it makes sense that Hayoung/Bomi/Namjoo are sent to film events.

She probably won't appear in the MV. It doesn't matter though, she probably doesn't have time to film it and isn't going to promote the song anyway. Most likely she featuring on it as a favor to either Hanhae or the producers - the reason being is that she is a good singer and is successful on the charts so it gives the song more visibility. It's not her song nor it is released by Plan A. It's just a featuring so just be appreciative that you get to hear her voice on something new! She already has 2 other songs in the top 30 with MVs. I don't think it's her voice, it's probably just a promo vid.

Not really because she's pretty short at 162 cm. Underweight is BMI <18.5, and she's over that at 19.4 - which means that is within normal range. She might be even shorter than 162 cm, since her and Chorong seem to be the shortest members. I was around 51 kg at the start of high school and taller than her, and I definitely was NOT super skinny. She's at a healthy weight for her height.

Vinyl has made a HUGE comeback amongst the younger generation here in the US (and I'm sure in Korea too, since they follow a lot of US trends with the younger, cool crowd) - vinyl sales are at a 30 year high. For indie/acoustic albums, I buy exclusively on vinyl since the sound quality is better (it's a warmer sound) and it usually comes with a digital download anyway. The fact that Plan A is releasing this on vinyl is super interesting to me.

For the OST it's generally not which agency the artist is under, but the agency that is producing the OST

it can also mean a solo/unit digital single with promotions instead of an album. it's a way to test the waters for a future album, since bomi or namjoo have never really done solo music before.

these sales are good if she can consistently sell abut 1k albums a day. she's already 2nd behind taeyeon for girl group solo physical sales.

taeyeon and eunji are better singers tbh but IU is honestly the better artist. she writes and composes and plays instruments and has her own style. eunji totally has the potential to get to that point too after a few more solos and more experience with composing - i really hope we are able to see her play piano on stage

she should be able nominated for music bank though. it's just that most people have their debut stage the same week as when they release the song, so they can't be nominated. even though she didn't perform last week, she's eligible to win this week. music bank is 65% digital, 5% physical, 20% broadcast scores, 10% viewers choice show champion is 50% digital, 20% physical, 15% voting, 15% ranking show champion (after the show) puts the most on physical sales so eunji has the best chance to win on music bank

no it was 30k preorders, so Plan A probably ordered 20k more albums to be produced for future stock. keep in mind that bulk buys from the company are probably not reflected in hanteo yet, as well as fans holding off buying albums until the fansigns. also that not all sales outlets report to hanteo. vixx 1st day hanteo sales were 10k. that's for a boygroup with a solid fandom so almost 2k for a solo girl group member is pretty good.
