I remember reading EXO forum keeping track of their records, and Hanteo showed EXodus increased along SNSD preorders before the fansigns. Just speculation, no proof though.

It's true, when SNSD released their album, EXO albums increased as well, ppl suspected i-Sones bought them when they bought SNSD albums. Ifans are usually muti-fandom, not dedicated to just one group like k-fans.

I know Big Bang won in digitals but I remember their album scores were higher too. As you can see, the other person posted proofs some shows counting Gaon not Hanteo.

I don't remember what week though, it might be the first week release of M. I just remember BTS was accused of sajaegi for selling more than BigBang on Hanteo, then Gaon chart came out, BB was #1 for the album and I saw comments on Allkpop that their fans asked why Big Bang was #1 album on Gaon when their group sold more on Hanteo. And Big Bang won most of the music shows after that with higher album scores.

Public likes them but they don't have big fan base to buy their album like Miss A (well Suzy has big fan base but her fans seem don't care for her group).

That's not true though. I remember a week that Big Bang and BTS were against each other, it seems they used the latest Gaon chart. Because BTS sold more than Big Bang on Hanteo but Big Bang was ranked higher in album sale in Gaon so Big Bank album scores were higher.

Hanteo is the physical sales to consumers, all albums certified by Hanteo. Physical Gaon is shipment from label to stores. True sales are somewhere between the numbers. A lot rewards are based on Gaon but public might pay more attention to Hanteo because not all albums shipped to stores are sold.

But it's like repackage like other albums, but instead of one, the have multiple. Wonder Mama award, they count sales from Made, M, A, D, and E as one album since they do include the original songs.
