i haven't started any from this season yet. Still waiting till more subbed eps are out before i even bother. The season does seem kinda weak though. 

I got bored of Monster halfway through. Maybe i need to get through the rest to appreciate him as a villain more. Griffith from Berserk has to be considered too. Just seeing the phrase "Griffith did nothing wrong" makes me angry lol.

Clannad is something i still have yet to watch because i think it's ugly as fuck. Those eyes...

Looks like a netflix Castlevania series was announced today. Symphony of the Night is one of my favorite games of all time so i hope this will be good. Supposedly it's going to be super violent. Maybe something like Penny Dreadful? idk. Honestly just make it like Bloodborne the series and it'll work out as Castlevania i think.

Maybe it's the movie Orange and that's why the word "orange" is stuck in your head. Her hair isn't that color in the live action but it is in the manga.

i tried to go to Puff's FB to see if there were new pics but i guess she changed her official FB from DreamGirlsPuff to 0630puffkuo. I guess they're just gonna silently disband unless i missed something? OTL

What a weird time when Popu Lady is the best cpop girl group now that Dream Girls and Seven Sense are gone. And SNH suck now that they're not an akb cover band anymore. (i stand by saying that SHE are done but they just don't want to say it. Maybe they will get together randomly every once in a while but it's not the focus anymore)

I started Ode To Joy. 3 eps in. Seems good so far but Xiao Xiao is annoying and i wish she wasn't there. Also i don't like having a narrator. The narrator doesn't talk often but it's not necessary, especially at the beginning to introduce everybody. I'd rather learn that stuff on my own as i watch. 

I recommend watching the original series first. Brotherhood is the superior series and is better in almost every way BUT the original is still very good and worth watching. The original is probably still a top10 anime, it's just that Brotherhood might be top5 or even top3 for me. It might be hard going back to the original after having seen Brotherhood so that's why i recommend watching the original first. 

Ohh i never heard of her before but i like that song. I'll check her out later. 

And yea the site has been really bad lately. It usually works if you wait 5-10 minutes and try again but it's getting real annoying. 

I keep replaying the ending/credits just for the song.

The other female actress in the thumbnail, I feel like she's now appearing in bigger supporting roles with each drama I've seen her in: from 5 to 9, family's form and now this one. 

I haven't seen any of her dramas but i like her music. She started off with pop rock, then did some ballads, and recently pop. The pop songs have been kinda weak but this sounds pretty good and easily the best pop song she's done so far. 

Just watched Totsuzen Desu ga, Ashita Keikkon shimasu. I'll keep watching to see how it goes but what I really want to know is who was singing the song at the end with the credits?

That's Mariya (the female lead) singing . It's called Motion and comes out next month.

Nintendo said that the online sub will be 2000-3000 yen a year, which is $17.50-26.50. So i assume it'll be $20 or $25 for a nice number.

I think this price makes it easier for people to accept instead of if it was $50/60. Still sucks to have to pay for online when you didn't have to before though. It works for the other 2 so i guess nintendo was going to do it eventually. 

This was one of the few that peaked my interest a little, but at the same time I'm worried that there would either be too much of the drama that I hate or not live up to my expectations. 

Yea i looked through this season and there was only a couple that looked interesting. Hopefully it's not too cartoon-y or over the top exaggerated. That's what i'm most worried about. 

Also, not a drama, but i checked out the first ep of this anime called Kuzu no Honkai. Really interesting and outside of brief comedic scenes, i really like the tone they're going for. 

edit: ok i just finished ep2 of that anime and i kinda want to take it back lol. Ep1 was serious and felt like a movie or drama. But ep2 added more comedic scenes and it kept switching between serious and anime exaggerated humor. Kinda disappointed but i'll keep watching for now. 

yay the subber that did NigeHaji is picking up the Haru drama. Hopefully it's good. it sounds interesting.

but yeah its pretty cool! but it doesnt surprise me she's getting there because her sound is very unique and nice and she got nice collaborations for it, its not pitchfork received a call from an influencial figure to get the article written

speaking of, i just saw they made an article about this song & her upcoming mixtape

I doubt she'll ever be anything but super niche but it's still nice. Just some teacher that sings weird shit on the side gets mentioned to Grimes and then this all happens lol.

Looking forward to the mixtape next month. It's cool that she's getting coverage on Pitchfork and other big western music sites. It also feels more organic and natural unlike when Billboard covers kpop or something and it feels like its done for clicks. 

It's like you're my older brother from another mother. I've watched a lot of dramas that started out good and part of the way through started getting worse but I stuck through for the actresses.

 

However, there are dramas that I end up liking so much that I'll watch the main lead female in anything she's in (ex. Kirsten Ren because of IAGW).

Sometimes a drama is so bad i can't finish it though. Like Gakky's last drama had some of the dumbest writing i've ever seen and could not do it.

Absolutely agree with you, seeing their business practices really make me question how much they will milk out of Avengers, knowing a lot of people would buy it and than possibly even micro transaction for the game...... 

I'm a huge fan of Square games too. I even used to defend FF13 because i genuinely liked the game lol. But man, they've gotten so bad as a company. 

I know a lot of people like FFXV, and that's fine, but its success shows them that they can get away with all the shit that they did. And that worries me. 

Might have to try Gooddrama then, there was a time when their players were okay and then everyone else got upgrades and they got stuck in the past. 

 

I maybe censoring wasn't exactly the right work but infidelity seems to occur more often in J-dramas and when it comes to domestic violence, abuse, trans, prostitution, organ black market, human trafficking etc. they seem more willing to depict it visually than just mention it in passing if that when compared to K-dramas. Also I like Japan doesn't censor brands in some K-drama's the lengths they go to is ridiculous in a bad way.

I used to watch things at gooddrama all the time. But when i was checking it out for Boss, it was kinda slow and you can't skip ahead because it will restart the video OTL

The most fucked up thing i've ever seen in a drama happened in a jdrama. I think it was the first ep of Mother.
