FINISHED MAIN STORY

So much fun. Completely addicted. Need to focus on more important things now but will def keep playing and do endgame stuff but won't be playing nearly as much haha. I need to shoot a hadoken at a dialbos or something when that dlc comes out. It's a life goal now.

i used to be part of the staff here. I was a mod for like a year and a half and no limit on sigs was one of the perks. I'm pretty sure i have the normal limit that regular users have now but i haven't changed it since then so it still works lol.

Nice, I have like 15 hours so far, would be more but haven't had much time to play :(

My days have been: work, monster hunter, sleep, repeat lol. 

Took me several hours and a few days of grinding but i finally got the Anja armor set

Probably gonna use it for awhile, it reminds of the Wyvern/Pegasus Rider armor from Fire Emblem

i hate fighting anja. He's such a dick. 

After 75 or so hours i think i'm near the end of the game. I'm interested in doing endgame stuff but once the story is over i really need to focus on other stuff. Been playing so much MHW that i've been neglecting irl stuff and have barely touched DBFZ lol.

Love Exercise wasn't targeted at the Japanese market as far as I know. It was just a standard cover album that was marketed in Taiwan as a way to help people learn English.

 

Yes, I don't think she should go to Japan either. Right now quality Mandarin albums like she's been doing with concerts all over Asia and some in other big cities is perfect IMO.

Is Love Exercise the english cover album she released in japan? I remember something like that. I would say that she should try to go to japan instead of the west but japan's market isn't very good now and it's not what it used to be. Show and Aaron tried and flopped somewhat recently too. Dean kinda exploded after switching to work in japan instead of taiwan but he's also japanese, and it's mostly because he's good looking tbh lol.

I hope you enjoy it. I loved it and probably rank it at #1 of the souls games i've beaten (played all but DS3 so far). The dlc is the real challenging part of the game, at least it was for me.

I really want to get into Baldur's Gate cause it seems like a really quality game, but I played the older Divinity games and I wasn't able to get into them. Since those are pretty similar to the Baldur's Gate games, will I be able to get into it? Or is it too dated?

if you're interested in the genre but are worried about it being too dated you try some of the newer games since CRPGs have somewhat had a resurgence over the last few years. Check out stuff like Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity. Divinity: Original Sin (this also has a sequel that just came out a month or so ago). I haven't played any of these yet but i've been interested in them also and have heard only good things about them.

I think Dragon Age: Origins is also considered this type of game so you could try that also.

 I enjoyed FF15. My biggest complaint was the loading times.

 

Speaking of FF13, I constantly feel like I'm the only one that enjoyed it. I played it way back when and when I finally looked online at reviews and stuff, practically everyone else hated it.

I liked 13 a lot. Sure it has its problems but it was a fun game. The hate i feel like was people not liking the game and then nitpicking everything about it to justify not liking it. Like the game has great music but people said they didn't like it. For a jrpg, it has great voice acting (minus Hope sounding too old and Vanille having a fluctuating australian accent) but people said it sucked. They said the battle system was just mashing X, but in terms of FF difficulty, it's above average because FF is a pretty easy series overall. I understand not liking it but the hate was way overblown. 

i still haven't played FFXV. I had too many negative reactions to announcements and promotions before the game came out. And then the mixed reception the game had when it came out. I'm putting it off because i'd like to give it a fair chance without letting that affect my play. Also i'm already playing Cold Steel 2, with Sky 3rd waiting after that, and i just bought Ys VIII too. So FFXV can wait lol.

Chapter 5 and 6

 

Kodaka you freaking troll... I'm glad my waifu Maki is still alive but chapter 5 end was the perfect conclusion yet in chapter 6 Kodaka trolled the entire fan base of danganronpa, all along we were the ones that are the culprit behind the entire killing game.

 

Kaito's death hurts a lot and I was almost freaking out when Maki cried :( and Ouma..... Seriously a genius plan from him, he's the best character in the game.

 

can i ask how old you are? Just curious because you seem to have the time and funds to play everything lol. 

it feels surreal CS3 is coming out in Japan today. I caved in a month ago and just pre ordered it. First time I'm ever importing a JP game. No way in hell I can wait 1-2 years for the localization. lol might as well play through it than get spoiled. I'm still 70% through with Ys 8 so I'm not in a rush to get my copy but I hope I get it by the end of the week. Spoil me much, Falcom. <3

 

I looked at a few chapter 1 streams and I already saw an emotional moment that wrecked me with Sky feels and heard a remix of Silver Will. Damn, i've never been this hyped for a game before.

 

The op is by far the worst in the series though. I love the song but the syncing is lazy and tragic. 

 

 

 

 

It's just the OP but I feel a little triggered. All the previous OPs were hyped af. I guess I have to get used to full animation now. I'm going to miss the flash animation OPs. 

 

 

 

did you see the recent interview where Falcom said that the story for the Trails series is only 60% done? I'm guessing a Calvard series is next after CS3. Hopefully they bring the Crossbell games over in the meantime. 

Do you understand japanese? I don't have too much problems avoiding spoilers fortunately. 

playing Ys 8 and it's been pretty awesome so far... i think i'm going to be addicted to all Falcom games from now on. I need the specific release date for Tokyo Xanadu ex+ too. 

 

first time trying out a Ys game... fortunately, it works okay enough as a stand alone game and i don't really need to know the content of previous games unlike the Kiseki series 

I hope Tokyo Xanadu is good. Some footage i've seen makes it look meh but other look like it could be good. 

All Ys games are standalone. The story doesn't even matter in the game honestly. You play them for the action and the awesome music. Though i did hear that Ys VIII is the Kiseki of the Ys game and they tried to have more story in it. I'm definitely going to be getting it but i'm still trying to catch up with the Kiseki series. Currently playing CS2 and I still need to play Sky 3rd too. 

i applied for the DBFZ closed beta too and didn't get a code

Oh well, i got to play it at E3 at least. But i really want to play Future Trunks because he's one of my fave DB characters. 

Also there's already fanart of 21. Hehe. 

The pop stuff, especially dance pop, is so hit or miss with a lot of it being real shitty. I like the ballads and the indie scene so i still check for cpop, just not as much as i used to. 

For someone somewhat recent, I think Shiny is nothing amazing but decent enough. Ignore the bad dancing in the second mv tho lol. She kinda has a UK dance music sound if you're into that. 

The lack of releases has become a real problem in cpop over the last couple of years. I just hope it's good whenever it does finally come out to justify the time it took.

I personally never really cared about who produces or writes or any of that stuff. I might respect a singer more if they do it themselves, but if the record label bought the song from someone else it's fine too. As long as the song is good. 

No but i was thinking about starting it or Lui Shi Shi's drama.

oh i just saw that Wong Kar Wai has signed on to direct a show on Amazon. That's cool. Japan has been making deals with netflix and hulu and stuff recently for drama series and now this. 

I wanted to believe in a release this year til the end but it was predictable... 

About the upcoming single, it seems that it won't be upbeat, and according to Jolin it will make us want "more".

 

I'm still looking forward a lot to the DVD !! I'm hoping for a BD release as well to be honest.

Hmm if only it was coming out a little earlier. I have coworkers going to japan in October and they asked if i wanted them to pick something up for me. Oh well the Tricot concert dvd i want is already expensive enough lol.
