you know, people on here say that this thread is toxic and that people only post in here for the upvotes.  but what about the people who camp out in the official threads and you only ever see them in appreciation threads?  they often of a rep that is double their post count.  how come they aren't called out for only posting for upvotes, but people in here are?  sure, some people in here are toxic, but the idea that posting your negative opinions in a thread for that express purpose is worse than posting you positive opinions in a thread for like minded people is asinine. everyone who isn't a troll wants upvotes.  who cares where you go for them.     this probably should have been posted in the rant thread, but since it's about this thread, I don't care.

I'm sure that I am late to the rant against the awards nominations party, but... HOW THE FUCK DO YOU LEAVE OF IC FROM BEST VARIETY SHOW?!?! it's one of the two most popular in SKorea and has a fanbase on this site, so don't give me any bullshit about it not being popular overseas. Also, the best drama list made me laugh. You meant "best romantic comedy" right? Because only one of those wasn't a romantic drama and very few on that list had the production value to be up there in the first place. A common story can be a really good and entertaining drama with the writing and acting. However, to win awards, you have to stand out and only one of my top five for this year was on there (and I did see at least three episodes of every show on the list). I know taste are different, but why the fuck did you put so many of the same type on there? Biased much?

so I just watched Running man ep 273 and I realized that outside of a few famous comedians and Gag Concert cast members, I really don't know very many k-comedians. I actually had never even heard of PLL before. I was aware of the SNL to rival GC but I didn't know that there was a third one (looks kinda low key in comparison to be honest). Other than Gukju I don't know anyone on SNL. I don't know if its because KBS subs their own shows so I see them more (including on Gag Concert), but they really do a better job at promoting their comedians. just from watching Happy Together, Full House (though they don't sub it anymore) and Human Condition I have seen so many comedians getting shots at something other than skits. I think it would be nice to see SBS & MBC do the same thing. how can you find the next great mc if you don't give people a chance to be seen?

I think that the action thing may have been shipped, or possibly tabled for awhile. But as for the rest of it, yeah, they have a lot of things to do. This foreigner trip doesn't make sense, unless it's just government propaganda, yet again this year. I'm really starting to be saddened over here. But I won't let it get to me, it is IC and it can still be very entertaining. Plus Eric Nam!!!! With YJS!!! I am very happy about that right now.

I didn't watch the show (just went looking for Brand New's performance and that video showed up in the "recommended" section), but I know that Big Bang was also there, and I think someone said that JYP won, so he was also there...not sure why they choose those guys to accept, but it was cute.

so I know I'm really really late in joining this thread, but I'm really really really enjoying this show.

I only like one of my badges... I like the old YJS badge 1 million times more (I like his laugh smile way more than that fake smile. Ayase Haruka is so much prettier than that tragic almost no hair looking monstrosity. How Cha Seungwon's photo passed the hd requirement is beyond me. filters are not always good people. Yoon Mirae's badge is lovely. (I want badges for variety shows, but the mods never really responded if that's possible or not...I mean, IC has been on air for 10 years, that's longer than most idol groups, how come we can't have a badge for them?)

so....IC Music Festival won for "hot trend" at Melon this year...and they have Zion.T & Hyukoh accept the award... ..these are the two people who talked the least...it was cute, they gave the mike to Hyukoh when they were walking up and they shoved it Zion.T's hand, but he kept trying to give it back. I mean, congrats to IC, but they really couldn't have sent someone else up there? I really do like San-E's "Me & You" ft. Yerin from 15&. however, considering how up in arms everyone around here is about underage girls, I'm SHOCKED no one has brought this one up. he's basically going on about how amazing his current girlfriend is and how he thinks he might be in love with her. he says that she could be a soul mate, a friend or a lover. this girlfriend is played by an underage high school girl. it's cute & fluffy, but how can people not have a problem with it considering how angry they are about everything else? if you are going to persisast with your black and white thinking, then you should have been persecuting San E for this (before SMTM4) like you have been going after IU & other users. not trying to justify a behavior here, just trying to point out the hypocrisy of this place. if you aren't popular, you can get away with it, but you are popular then it's hell and damnation for you? if it's always wrong, then you need to always call it out. if its possible for people to mean something else and be taken a different way, than you need to always allow for that. just look at the world objectively for a change. you'll that it is made of so many shades of gray with very little actual black or white spots.

15 minutes into episode 452 and it's turned into Jerry Springer for a moment. hahahahaha!!!! PMS is really funny when he's pissed. I'm really enjoying what I've seen so far. I'd love a gif of YJS head butting Park Narae (the small comedian from the dummy avengers), if anyone is feeling full of awesome. it just seems like it would be useful... I'm totally going to flip my lid before this over.... So it wasn't that funny. But the ending was golden. And the beginning was wonderful. Not a terrible episode.

I get that we don't see the day to day (and honestly, we don't need to), but Tiger JK & Yoon Mirae are just lovely together. I need them to institute a new rule on k-variety - NO MORE THAN THREE PEOPLE PER EPISODE CAN WEAR A BASEBALL CAP. seriously, I was watching the new episode and it's so distracting that you can't always see their faces. than they did those clips of their acting and I'm reminded that they have nice faces, I just don't get to see them. and some of them even have nice hair...I'm tired of everyone always wearing hats. that said, I love Junho's sister. I can't believe she answered just to hang up on him the last two times. I keep looking for a clip of her drunk phone call, but I can't find an eng sub one. anyone know where I can find that? I want to share it with people who won't watch a full episode, but if I set it up for them, they would really enjoy it.

Thanks for that. I knew that they were close, I didn't realize it was that close. I kinda hoped it was for something else, they really are some of my favorite idols on variety...but that's funny too, and I can totally see it.

sorry to interuput your usually activities, but I have a random question and I thought this would be the best place to find an answer. it's a little long to give some context. I'm a big variety fan and I really enjoying what Infinite brings to that genre. While I was re-watching some Infinite Challenge episodes from last year (IC Elections), the whole group was on one briefly and Sunggyu was on another by himself (I don't think I saw any others). Anyways, on the one with just Sunggyu (ep 379 @ 46 minutes), he says something about an assailant (Doni) breaking into the Infinite dorm "The year 2014. The second week of April. Friday at 2 am." (per the subs), then Doni forcibly shuts him up and the others fight over who gets him. It was funny moment, but I was wondering if his breaking in was just personal, or if it was for some other show. Does anyone here know about that? thanks for taking time to read (and maybe respond)!

I never realized how sexual international gymnastics competitions were. I watched the women's yesterday and today I'm watch the men's qualifications for Worlds (team, all-around, and each individual events). the women's weren't too bad, but some countries *cough*usa*cough* like not only wear their leotards in a high-french cut, but I swear that half the team pulled them into their butts and the other half just had too much butt to cover. then every single guy that I have seen is having a bulge. how have I missed this for 30 years? and how do they get away with it when not all members of the women's team are adults?? I'm kinda ashamed/embarrassed for them. if they just had outfits that fit, I could focus on their amazing feats, but instead I want to look away because it's creepy.

hello, my name is coward and I have an addiction to pocky. especially the almond crunch ones. it hasn't had a negative effect on my life yet, but I can't see it without buying it. or if I go to one of the three local grocery stores that carry it, even if I'm just getting milk, I have to make a trip to that asile and buy at least two more boxes of pocky. I feel like a hoarder with all of my pocky. but I love it, it's just the right amount of sweet and not too many in the box. I think I may need help.
