I kinda like these posts lol I was thinking a while back in order for us to kind of get to know each other on this thread a little better we should have like Namyu confessions or something! I think it would be fun as long as we don't hate (which I know no one would do on this thread cause we're all pretty nice here). I'll go next Unpopular opinion, but I hated Dolls and Drama when they first came out (which both songs happened to be super successful for Namyu). I like Dolls now, but Drama might be my least favorite Namyu title track.

I feel like they did this as sort of a damage control for when Sera left. I remember when Keumjo was revealed, a lot of Mines were upset with how early similar she was to Sera, they even sounded similar. So I think in order not to piss off Mines they didn't just give Keumjo all Sera's lines and made it a more gradual occurrence so it didn't look like they just easily replaced the darling of Namyu, cause when Sera was in the group many people considered her to be the heart and soul of the group and she took a lot of Mines with her when she left. That's just my speculation on why it took a while for Keumjo to get the position she has now. Also it may have been for seniority reasons because Hyemi did really get the shaft for a while and was really able to come thru once Sera, Lee Sem, and Eunji departed and it gave more opportunity for Hyuna to get more parts and gave Kyungri even more exposure. I'm just glad our baby Keumjo is feeling the love

Yes Kyungri slay a bit girl!!!!! Also the audio teaser was.....interesting No I didn't hate it before you guys judge me! I just thought it was definitely a different sound from their previous releases, if you guys know what I mean. I feel like it was more cutesy, not that it was cutesy it just was.....idk I don't even know how to describe it. I do think it fits in more with the current sounds that are coming out of girl groups which I think will be good for them cause the public tends to like those songs better. Also, with Kyungri's news about being the #2 for brand reputation will be good publicity just in time for their comeback I just want to girls to do well this comeback, I usually don't purchase mini albums that have less than 5 full actual songs on it (not counting intro songs and instrumentals) but i'm going to make an exception for my girls of course cause I need them to succeed I'll work extra hours to so I can afford the album if I have too, lord help me also I was super excited to hear SOJINS RAPPING VOICE !!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the airiness of her voice worked with Monster cause it's a slower song, but I wonder how she will sound in a more upbeat track.

It definitely does! And I can watch Kpop videos and read kpop articles and not feel guilty cause its for my research

WOWWWWWW............. Ah I love doing stuff like this, it makes us feel more like a community if we know at least a tiny bit about each other. I'm 22, currently entering the last year of my master's program (I do communication/advertising/marketing stuff) and am writing my masters thesis about Korean artists who are trying to break into the U.S. music market (which is why I'm keeping an extra close eye on CL ).

Anyways, I had a mini heart attack in my car because when I was driving home from work I flipped to one radio station and I heard part of 9muses news, I'm not even joking. I don't get Korean news stations where I'm from, but it was in the background of this commercial for some radio program called Irish and Chin, but the instrumental of news was playing in the background, I would recognize it anywhere.
