No I agree with you somewhat. I have seen people thinking yg doesn't care about money which isn't true at all considering yg is still a buisness and a company. And not a private buisness like in the past but a public one which depends a lot on investors. Yg has to make those investors happy somehow in order to get money which is why he's probably a lot more cautious now and always testing the public for their reactions.

^ No none is saying yg gives absolute freedom just that in comparison to the other big companies they have more freedom. And ya back then yg did tend to focus on just hip/hop and r&b but with the new generation of yg acts and the artists pushing to compose more like cl, winner, and akdong musician the music has become a lot more varied. Even the music each member of Big Bang does solo varies. Of course it would be even better if they didn't have to get the ok from yg each time so hopefully in the future yg lessons his influence or becomes more open to just trusting his artists. Ya I pretty much agree with Maddy too. It's not only yg they feel close to or loyal too but all the producers, dancers, and stylists. I'm not saying it's not a possibility that they won't move bc it's possible they can still be friends even when they aren't in the same company but it isn't really likely that they will risk it. I understand the frustration but really not one company is perfect. And it really isn't easy going independent considering that Epik high and tablo tried it and now they ended up in yg.

I didn't even really ship them at first but it's so hard not to now with all the pictures and fan cams. Lol they have really gotten close this past year or so.

I guess he'll have to do better next time ? Learn from mistakes and criticism. Anyway I'm not sure what's really going behind the scenes. But I don't think the only reason is bc of public songs or whatever. Other reasons could be the issue of timing and yg just focusing on his newer acts or something.

I miss them ! Was listening to some of their songs with my friend in the car and I just missed them so much while listening. Tbh I was kind of distracted for a bit bc of school and some other interest (anime and manga lol) but now I miss them even more. Sigh. Can't wait for fancams of them in Tokyo.

Ya it just came at the right moment and I loved the transition from monster to feeling.

Monster was performed live for the alive tour. It was a nice performance, one of my favorites actually. They just didn't promote it much bc of the tour and the one time they did perform it on a Japanese music show it was awkward lol. And ya still alive is a great song. I was very happy when they made the intro into a full song.

:( I want them to perform some of their older songs just like they did for the Japanese dome tour. But full versions and not just a medley.

Hi to everyone ~~ Just saw this video. I realized that while I did listen to this song quite a bit I never saw a performance of it. It really is one of their underrated songs.
