Welcome back. Nice to see you again~ Hyunseung is happy doing what he is now. He has time for his family and himself, he has a social life again, he can sing and dance to his own music taste now, and he doesn't have to give a flying hoot about image. And the part I love the most? He never dropped his former group's name once. He said Trouble Maker multiple times, but never once about his ex-group. He showed he was good at talking and variety, something that Cube and his former group said he wasn't good at and "that's why he didn't really promote his solo". Another reason his stage wasn't as great as the practice is Hyunseung was SUPER nervous going onto the stage. Watching the subbed episode, I noticed him shaking a little before going on stage. His expressions also disappeared, which happens to him when he's nervous. I don't think he was one with the stage like he normally is because he was so nervous. But I love that he called out their voting system right there on air. You saw how the judges who do dance try to keep a straight face but it looked like they agreed, while the judges who don't dance looked shocked and offended. And. That. IG. Video. Gave. Me. Life. Like OMG of his singing. I missed it so bad and I know he's got braces right now so he can't sing as good as he normally can but ugh, I want a solo the moment he's out of Cube. And yes, he gained weight, looks healthy, and his smile lights up the room. Jang Hyunseung hasn't smiled like this since his father's death, not even during his solo (even though he was brighter and happier during his solo, there was still "moments") I don't think Idol groups is for him, as I think he needs time to himself just as much as he wants to dance. Plus he was forced to be a different person in the boy group, and that pulled him down. Funny how he did that right after a convo argument in the 3rd video of his dance practice. All the "Hyuna's better" "Where's TM" "Come back to B*ast" It's as if he put that photo there to say "I'm happy as I am, leave me alone" kind of feeling.

I've given up hoping in early June. There's no time for a comeback before Oct 16th, and tbh Cube hasn't done anything for Hyunseung to show he's staying. They don't update on him, They didn't even know about his full HTS schedule (They said he'll be on episode 3 and that's it, but he was on episode 4 too, and will be on episode 5 and 6.) None of his clothes are from Cube, they're either his personal wardrobe or sponsored. Mnet also was the one to offer Hyunseung a chance to go on HTS. So I'll be surprised if he renews in October. Honestly, I Don't want him to. BTW, Badge Updated~

While personally I don't like the outfit they chose, it's still the thought that counts, and they did model it after an image used a lot for Hyuna's comeback this year. I don't think it's fair to bash the cake, or the fans who did donate to show some love. Leave fangifts out of it.

About a week and a half ago I was told our badge was accepted and should be updated soon. This past week awards team when on vacation so I believe there was no updates this week. Idk when it'll be changed, but I'll imaging in the next 2 weeks.

I was just about to add Blacklist too. And I really loved French Kiss too, and Ice Ice. Hyuna has so many colors and I'm sad this album didn't really capture any expect 'sexy goddess' one. None of the B-tracks really grabbed me, like yeah they're nice, but not playlist nice. Even in TM where she was super sexy, it was still a storyline to it (like Bonnie&Clyde kind of deal) and it just blended enough where it wasn't too much. Don't even get me started with the MV's/Dances. Red was classy with her twerking (if that's even a thing) but Roll Deep was a little much and I don't even know what to call this shaking thing in her How's This choreo...like a butt seizure? I support Star System because it was Hyunseung's dance team before he debuted, and he brought them to where they are now, but I don't like what they're doing with Hyuna these last two title tracks, I know both them and Hyuna can do so much better. Idk. Maybe if this was the only thing she did, I wouldn't be disappointed, but knowing she can do all these other concepts while still being sexy, and she can put out stuff like 'crazy' 'hate' and 'red', 'how's this' just falls too short. Can't find the full outfit photo right now, but this still is one of my favorite outfits on her. maybe minus the belt. I miss A Talk era...

I wonder since 4Minute isn't releasing anything in January/February time frame, If Hyuna will now release in those times but with the same concept she held in "Crazy" and "Act.7" eras. I miss bada** Hyuna that isn't in a Club song....

Yep. To all the b2uties trying to say Hyunseung's still getting Cube's wardrobe, All his clothes last HTS and the new HTS so far are his own, fan given, or sponsored. The FEAR jacket they're claiming is Cube wardrobe, isn't from Cube at all XD

I'm also very excited to see her wardrobe/hairstyle. I wonder if she's going to keep to '4Minute's Tomboy Badass' or move to a different look. I kinda wanna see more of her 'sexy' without it going overboard.

That would be a question for a law practicer or student, but in my best guess, I would image all cards would be free to play. But their copyrights & trademarks will still exist until the expire date. The other 4 (maybe 5th too) and Hyunseung currently make no money off of the work they did with their respective groups now, that money now goes straight to Cube. So Cube now makes extra cash. That's if 4Minute's Trademark is the same as B**st's trademark, which states if the members leave the company, they make no money off of the songs they sung, any songs they wrote, ect. All goes to Cube.

This. So much this. I can't with the OT1 and the OT4's right now. You're not the majority, so sit down. Let the OT5's do our job instead of defending our title. considering who they are, I'm going to trust them since I've worked on their info before and have been right. No offence, but I don't know you and I don't know where your info comes from. Copyright laws to have minor changes depending on certain Countries you live in. Also, there are some countries where low-key slavery is ok, still some off the grid countries who full out have slaves. So copyright laws don't always involved it either. On Korean terms, I'm sure there is something there to protect them from being owned as a person, and Cube, if this TM is true, still aren't owning a person. They're owning the image created by that person. It isn't Hyuna on her own or SoHyun on her own, it's when those 5 girls are together. That isn't 'owning a person'. I get you don't want to believe this, and you don't have to if you don't want to, but Cube basically owns 4Minute's name, 4Minute's music, and 4Minute's image (including the 5 girls on the same stage) until 2025 or 2026. As for the book, I don't think GaYoon would get away without Cube firing back. Idols normally can't dish on too much due to their contract agreements including non-disclosure. Usually those are a "you can't ever speak out certain this that happened in company period". Besides, It'll only bring her hate, so I don't want any member to write a tell all. I rather this info be dragged out of Cube by the fans.

Honestly I disliked Bubble Pop. But I would love something summery without it being club-like. This is coming from someone who loves hip hop and trap music. Red was perfect for me...

Yeah Hyuna's Roll Deep and How's This? are not really my taste, and only listen to rarely when I want a club-like song. At this point, I'm only supporting her because she's Hyuna. That and I'm waiting for a Red 2.0 in either visuals or music. I'll prob support all of 4Minute members like this tbh. Cube would have a heart attack or a blood vein burst if such a book was released lol

Solo, idk. Hyuna I'm sure they left her solo stuff alone since she's their princess, but we have no idea about Hyunseung's solo. Everything Hyunseung's done since leaving his group is not in the trademark due to him leaving after the trademark was created. But he won't get paid for anything he did in his former group once/if he leaves in Oct, if he hasn't already lost it now. Betrayal is another story, that I would be highly disappointed if it was so. But I don't think Hyuna wanted to leave 4Minute. As I said, she's not a good actress, so I don't think those are fake tears. And wasn't some members not even offered a renewal. I remember that being a rumor. *sorry for the doubt post, I thought I was typing in my edit post above*

I still don't understand how it is legal either, but this how it's been explained to me. It was more of a B**st inspection though with Honey's not really having the time to put into digging up these things, as we're very interested if the Trademark includes HS's solo, and I haven't really heard things from 4Nia's mouth. From how it was explained to me is these idols are selling a product, which is their music and their image. Should they ever leave this position, and the Image is trademarked, then they can not "sell" this image anymore. which would include the image of the 5 of them together if Cube went that far. In America, this kind of trademark would be a lawsuit waiting to happen I'd imagine, since we can file a lawsuit against coffee being hot... I still don't get why ppl think she's a good actress when it's to their benefit. I even see Hyuna stans with this whole 'she's acting' crap because god forbid she's upset over this. I see OT4's and Hyuna's stans points, but both of them are doing things wrong. Then with all the OT5s caught in the middle. From what I've seen, the split in the fandom isn't so clean cut. Doing some digging, there are 4Nia's who do support Hyuna, but not supporting this solo with it only being just shy of 2 months since the disbandment, it being "too soon". Which I get, the wounds still fresh and then having Hyuna release a solo is just adding salt. They're allowed to take time to heal, as long as they don't bash Hyuna. It's a mess and it'll only get worse if both sides just blame the other. I wish amends could be made, and all 5 be supported for whatever schedule they do. If you're an individual fan, then just stay in your lane and don't involve with 4Nia business. If you're gunna make a clean cut, you need to separate from it XD

Possible if Trouble Maker was included in either Trademark. Trouble Maker is tricky tricky because it was a unit between a B**st member & a 4Minute member and both groups have their own Trademarks. Since it is a subunit, I don't think Cube can trademark it like they do regular groups. But if both trademarks include that group's respective part of the subunit, then yes, TM can be/is trademarked. We'll never know 100% everything trademarked by Cube without Cube telling us, We can only read the public available infomation on it, which doesn't include to what extent they are trademarked to (it could only do the name likeness, or the max of complete image likeness) or any info on subunits. Looking at Cube's situation, and why they pulled these trademarks of beginning of last year & January of this year, their motive is clear. It's safe to assume the worse tbh. Judging by this not being what Hyuna wants (I'm sorry, she's not a good actress so I don't believe the tears are fake) and the other 4 not wanting this, Cube was the one that disbanded 4Minute.

I'm aware, She's also someone who I hit 'ignore' on her old account and the reason I avoided this thread. As Long as she doesn't touch him in a convo direct at me, there will be no problems and I will listen. That doesn't mean we'll be friends. I'm also unsure how kwonssoo feels about Hyuna as a whole, and I really don't like OT4's either. But, so far, kwonssoo hasn't done anything to my face or behind my back at me, and I haven't seen 4D bashing yet from her alien. If you've seen it, kindly DM it to me. Sadly, I cannot fight it if someone did disrespect Hyunseung on this thread, as adri has proven multiple times, but you'll be added to my enemy list. TL:DR: I'm netural right now, because of the 'kwonssoo' days. Long as she leaves Hyunseung out, she'll remain in the netural. I could care less about the other 5, I have no attachment to them anymore. That's up to their fans to defend them, I have my own bias' to defend. Don't worry Hyunaa&apink, you're still one of my favs on this thread, and my #1 Hyuna stan :p

I'm only a fan of Hyunseung, who uses AOMG producers and and Black Eyed Victory (Rado). He doesn't use Cube producers. I have a strong dislike for some songs, and some liking to songs that I don't listen to anymore after Hyunseung left. Long as you don't attack Hyunseung, I'm 100% cool. But you might have unwanted guest here defending their oppa's. I liked Heize before she got with him. I'm a huge fan of Dean's and I didn't even like her song featuring Dean. She mellowed down ._. I want JiYoon x Yezi / JiYoon x Giriboy / JiYoon x Any WG member but Yenny/Yubin mostly / JiYoon x Hoody I'd love it if JiYoon worked with Loco, and did something like Hoody's solo song. yay! she's still there despite some strong comebacks/debuts.
