I have a thing for dreams and a big, big weakness for inception/lucid dreaming AUs, but never actually read it the other way around, so props for that. I would twist the description a little, make it more mysterious (?) maybe and not give away too much. what's the immoral supposed to mean?

The thing is, fanfiction don't represent idols, and never will. Fanfiction authors borrow idols names, faces, some character traits but thats as far as it goes. I never read a fanfiction before where the chracterisation was 100% on spot, but that's not why I'm reading fanfiction anyway. So while shippers like interpreting Taekook's relationship the way you encountered, I don't think that's intentionally because they can't picture Taehyung as someone sleeping around. It's just the way they prefer it, and who can blame them on that tbh. That being said, I did read quite a few stories where Taehyung was the "wilder" one and Jungkook the longing / crying whateverish. Thinking about it, if you read Idol!verse it's actually more that way, while AUs mostly have Jungkook as the, uh, whore-ish person? You just have to look around, thankfully with the fandom expanding we have such a nice variety of fics now wow the fanart is super cute!
