Girl deserves this debut and immerse success for sticking with it all this time. Look at Jihyo and how successful Twice is right now. Patience will take you far and Chaeryoung will definitely be a star for all the sweat and tears she has put in thus far.

Given how valuable/popular/stan-attracting/success-guarantor Somi is to this new group, if that is the reason why Somi wanted quit, then JYPE could have easily altered the format of the show, having her as the secured member sitting alongside him when the other contestants fight for the remaining 4 spots. I can think of a million ways to keep her while still doing a survivor. I'm still scratching my head as to why they can't meet each other half way (assuming this is the sole reason why she called it quit). It's frustrating to have her leave so close to the debut.... I mean, is a survivor that important to JYPE to let go of arguably the most popular trainee in the company's history??? I seriously doubt that because her spot in the group alone brings more in term of the group's popularity than a survivor show could have. Anw I so excited for the showcase tonight.

I will just keep refreshing this page for updates on tonight showcase. Still devastated that Somi left but I'm stoked and excited and hopeful for those who stay. They will be successful, with our without Somi, and Somi will too, with or without this girlgroup.

Hi guys I just checked and Twice almost got a PAK. Does anyone know what time will Soribada updated the daily chart? and also what are the points difference right now between #1 and #2? If they can get one today then they will possibly have 2 PAKs (if everything keeps going at this rate they will have one tmr which should be counted as another one right?)

So I'm just getting so confused by all these reports and rumors. They are saying all the other might stay and only one is leaving because of acting? We are pretty sure that acting is Lim's interest, but if so then it shouldn't be that hard for JYPE to get her acting gigs though, right? Plus if she's the only one leaving and decides to pursue acting full time and (somehow) doesn't deliver, I can already imagine the shitstorm Knetz gonna throw at her ...

OMFG i was scrolling down when I saw that Korean article and literally held my breath til I saw the Eng trans. This suspense isn't good for my heart. Not at all. So news will be coming this week or next week guys? Lord please have mercy on Wonderfuls. I think the one most eager to leave is Yubin, please JYPE offers the girl a solo. I need to hear her husky raps more often tho Yeah actress and MC is def Lim, but she also wants to study full-time no? Im just too confused with all these reports. Maybe if they do disband, then the only thing that would keep me alive would be a Sunmi's solo. Her contract is still there right I don't think JYPE would easily nullified. And out of the four Yenny and Sunmi are the most likely to stay imo

Curious to who is the girl the other article was mentioning though? It says that the person wants to be acknowledge for musical talents so it could have been Yenny, but JYPE did gave her a solo with her own materials, so I'm thinking maybe it was Yubin?

That would be a tough question to answer. The name obv belongs to JYPE and I don't know if they would let the girls keep it if they move to another agency. Even if JYP himself allows them to, I doubt that the board of JYPE does. That would be an uphill battle for the girls if they want to keep the name. If they can't, it's hard imagining them getting together under the new name, I think they would just focus on their solo activities from now on.

This is truly heartbreaking, especially for Wonderfuls who have been there since the very beginning. I do hope that nothing is truly finalized yet and JYPE is still working its best to keep them together. It is understandable that the girls want more solo activities and JYPE has been doing quite poorly promoting them. The company is obviously focusing more on TWICE/Got7 because they are among the money maker for the company because as sad as it is, being a digimon doesn't help the company financially much if you can't go on tours and make gallons on physicals :( But the thing I like about JYPE is that they give the girls so so much artistic freedom/creativity in making their own music and I can't think of any other that would do the same for them. Antenna might be a good company to join but they don't have the financial capabilities as JYPE does. I was so hopeful when WSL blew up on charts, also with the success of Twice and Got7 the company is getting stronger financially and will be able to get more gigs/put out more music for its underrated artists (Jimin, Benard, Yerin, WGs, Ah Yeon). You can't do much for them even if you want to if you don't have the money. They still need to make sure every projects put out is gonna make profits; breaking even wasn't even an option considering the dark hole the company was in pre-Twice. I just hope that if they stay, they stay together, and if they leave, they leave together. But it's gonna be hard with Sunmi's remaining 1 year with JYPE (and girl I've been thirsty for your solo also). So what I reallllyyyyyy hope here is that they sign with other companies for their solo activities, but still stay and let JYPE monitors their group's work with conditions (maybe something along the lines of at least 1 full album/year, or 2 mini albums, singles, full promotion on music shows, small tours in Korea, etc.). That way there would be no legal battles on who has the right to keep the name and legacy of Wonder Girls (I hate to see blood between JYPE family, plus hell would happen if the girls can't keep the name, have to work their way up again from ashes), they still get to put out GREAT music as a group (I want another Reboot so badly), and the girls still have time/support from other companies to do solo gigs (it would be hard for JYPE to fully satisfied the girls solo requests anyway, the company still has so many other artists to promote). That is the best case scenario I am hoping for. And I'm not ready for the worst news of 2017 yet :(

Happy to see some positive changes in the charts right now. Only Mnet, Olleh, Soribada, and Genie (all are at #2) left to conquer. One can dream for a third weekly PAK today right? I'm so excited!

OMG only Bugs daily left. Went to see the daily chart but I couldn't see any points (?), so no idea how long it's gonna take us to get to #1 daily. This waiting game is killing me. We are so close damn

So basically as of now 0:30 KST, they only need to get to #1 daily on Bugs and #1 real time on Olleh. I guess real-time on Olleh should be easy? Anyone has streaming tutorial for Olleh for international fans or is it something we can't do? About Bugs, since they have been #1 on realtime, and this is the very first hour in Korea, then they should get #1 for daily within the next update right? Then all we should be worried about is the realtime on Olleh for the PAK? Damn I have never been this obsessed with charts before lol I so want them to get another PAK!

LOL well I guess some of you kinda miss my very first and main point, that is the use of vulgar language targeting JYPE/JYP. I also mentioned that I welcome all constructive criticisms. I have never said we have to kiss JYPE/JYP's asses, but gotta give credit where credit is due. We all have problems with JYPE, but cursing them is a bit much isn't it? And it's fine if you are not a JYPE stan but a WF only, but then don't expect JYPE to go all out and fulfill all your wishes about promoting WGs because you know what, they are not the only artist in the company waiting to make a comeback. WGs are no longer the star of the company (and it hurts to admit that) so it's understandable that JYPE no longer focus their resources on them. Sometimes I wonder how some of you survived the dark age of WGs (2010-2013) cause you guys sound like you would actually kill someone considering how worked up you guys get over such tiny little things. Beware of the wrinkles lol Anw, I'm gonna go enjoy my Wgs news in the main thread then. Again, opinions and curses are two different things, just saying. If it is just pure opinions then I wouldn't have spoken up. And you are right, the girls ain't gonna read it, and hell sure JYPE ain't gonna read it, so it's all on the followers or ppl who pass by to see the news that read all those things. So why do you have to be so harsh with the language when it's not gonna change anything? Maybe being a WFs from the very start (2007) I have seen too much that such tiny things like these don't really bother me anymore. Yes I was expecting a full album too and was a bit disappointed when the news broke but overall I am happy that they are back and ready to buy their albums to support them. And just to be clear we are not arguing, just discussing things in a civil manner without calling names and I think that's good. After all we are here to support them.

LOL them working on the album for a long time doesn't mean all the songs are released-materials. All of WGs except for Ye Eun only start composing recently. My point is we never truly know who is at fault, so stop pointing fingers. But yeah i don't see the point arguing with you, and would be best if you can tell all the others to take their rages to the rant thread too. Love.
