  1. It's kind of risky to debut with a ballad, ballads do better in fall and winter and definitely have more public appeal than dance tracks in SK but for growing a fandom it isn't really the best genre
  2. I'm really curious about how the song and mv setting will go together because that place looks very serene and beautiful and matches a ballad, but I can't see the group releasing a ballad.
  3. Alex is participating in MIXNINE, with other BOYS24 members. Lets support him.
  4. They both changed a lot in a year, hope they can take another pic together
  5. Wow I'm going to stan him, he has major Dongho vibes [on the left]
  6. any spoilers about the audition format?
  7. Sungho is also going I heard a fan say, I don't know if you're still supporting him.
  8. Haejoon is participating so I'm in. He's the one that winked to the camera.
  9. haejoon will be on mix nine, i'm wishing him good luck http://www.vlive.tv/video/43350
  10. Well you'll just have to watch the premier to find out tbh
  11. This show is crashing and burning fast for me I might quit after the first ep
  12. Boys' Republic Minsu is who I'm rooting for. I'm kind of annoyed that its only 126 contestants, all of this build up about five hundred. They should have just been realistic from the beginning. Now its basically as co-ed produce 101, online voting is a big dynamic that helps groups succeed. Live voting only, makes the deciding audiences teenage girls, which isn't a bad thing, but groups decided by teenagers likely won't have maximum public appeal. It was the fans in their thirties that pushed Kang Daniel in the beginning on Produce and he's one of the most well known members outside of fans in Wanna One.
  13. not discrediting this article, but this interview is months old i believe and none of the translations make it sound like she decided she might not debut as an idol, not that she could. jype determines what she's doing for the most part, especially long term plans.
  14. the five hundred number is probably going to be five hundred people showed up to the first audition and then "shocking elimination only two hundred fifty survive" - for the first episode
  15. even though yg and jyp are friends they keep business separate, i don't think jype would want somi making money and generating interest for their competitor
  16. Public broadcast shows almost always outperform cable shows so I don't think its too ambitious, even its peak ratings.
  17. I'm so happy EXP is going, they're really talented, check out this cover of super junior.
  18. I want someone to be messy and pick the contestants in the same companies as wanna one members and call themselves the wannavengers.
  19. I don't know if they'll be any reward for those with the most votes, And also its the news reporting who will be participating, I think at the request of the companies. Not KBS leaking the contestants. If there are individuals who don't have a company, don't have a lot of fame or interest. The reporters won't write articles because they think no one will care.
  20. they need to rig the results like produce101 so that the group is actually attractive to fans today and from the old generations well for uncle fans and the young male fans its easy, pretty young girls for fan girls tho, there has to be a thirty five year old to reel in the old fans and also a 2000+ liner for the school age fans
  21. I think they'll debut in early october or november, because jbj will debut in october, and I think it will be difficult for in2it to gain attention. i think i read that inho's face had some swelling due to illness, i hope he feels better, but i really like the appearance of his fuller face. he looks good in these practices. I really hope they perform steal your heart soon
  22. also not mentioning they're going is probably the order of the contract if everyone knows who is or isn't going then a lot of people won't watch the first ep just to see who is there +the people that announced their participation are probably supposed to be the ones that draw interest to the program, and its still more than a month away probably a week or two before it airs they'll be more announcements about who's participating
  23. This definitely seems like they couldn't find enough people. But if they're letting anyone that debuted in entertainment try, won't the show not be centered around music anymore? I doubt failed actors are going to want to sing and dance idol songs.
