Whitewashing cause the lost of his natural features, like the colour of his lips, chicks and under eyes. It makes him look flat and not natural. Sadly we can't change the Korean culture. They think white = pure/beautiful, not white = ugly. It's frustrating. For me colour of the skin is the same like colour of the eyes. It defines the differences in one person's body, and it's unique, just like the shape of the nose or chin. There are many people on this world, maybe not everyone is beautiful, but it's not the skin colour that makes you pretty or unpretty. Idol's life is really hard. When you don't fit the standards they will MAKE you fit. Plastic surgery, photoshop, makeup, diets, workouts, brainwashing... Eh, but you know what makes me worry the most? Kai always says he is proud of his skin, but when he takes selcas, he's white on them and covered with filters. Does he still feel uneasy about his skin colour?
