  1. i don't see anyone trying to say this is racist? i only see fans trying to say its not racist when no1 said it was in the first place.
  2. why are y'all hellbent on making this about the pale comment when we're talking about the dark comment she felt the need to tack on at the end.... also this is like saying something can't be racist unless you're physically discriminating against someone to their face. you realize people can have rascist and colorist ideologies even subconsciously without actually acting on them on a large scale right? its called a microaggression.
  3. the way people are jumping through hoops to say this doesn't have colorist undertones... griddle is known for their culture vulture concepts, they know they're using "ethnic styles", they purposefully seek them out. this just adds another layer to their ignorance and overall dislikeability. the "you're so dark i can't see you at night" thing is an age old insensitive phrase used to make fun of dark skin people. its even worse bc no east asian person would ever be dark enough to "not be visible at night", so what is even being implied there? i'm not about cancel culture, but y'all should just admit something insensitive was said and meant by her statement. the context is right there.
  4. if exo beat them out for a spot...onces def could have gotten twice in there by voting harder. but thats just my opinion.
  5. only people who won the top 10 artist bongsang for mma got nominated for daesangs. and twice was not. voting played a big role in that too so i feel like onces kind of failed them on that front...
  6. The only book I finished this year is Kafka on the shore. It was an interesting read.
  7. tbh the major driver behind 17's huge sales this cb was the album versions and excessive amounts of collectibles. companies have truly learened how to make fans go all out. but tbh, if/when bts goes on a military hiatus, 17 will likely be the #1 group overall, tho their digitals are kinda low for a group of their caliber.... but
  8. produce 101 rlly did mess up the industry. instead of getting more viable bgs from low tier companies all of the best trainees got sent to produce only to get largely mistreated, w1 debuted and crowded out all other debuts that year and in subsequent years, and then half the successful w1 members ended up as soloists.
  9. the way they'll do this for literal cartoons, but won't protect their underage idols
  10. bby...what is there to be pressed about? his image tanked and now he's flopping.
  11. can't remember that last time i wasnt disappointed with her music
  12. the whole thing comes off as a microaggression. imagine saying you want to create the biggest boy group in the world, which is a phrase that has been widely given to a group that still exists and is still very much the biggest group and just happens to be asian, while simultaneously whittling said group down to nothing more than another kpop group and borderline mocking kpop. there's nothing wrong with him doing a survival program, but the messaging behind this is just off.
  13. its just embarrassing at this point. and its the pettiness in the way he just mentions kpop and won't even dare to say bts' name even though thats clearly who has him triggered. a grown ass man acting like this smh
  14. honestly i do think it would be better for both groups to just disband quietly and go back to their companies. all continuing to promote these groups is going to do is garner them negative images and terrible hate comments. there are very young kids in both x1 and izone and i worry for their mental health among all of this.
  15. the only clown is you...this guy was the first and only source of this info, meaning it was leaked directly to him likely by a police officer, a whole two days after the actual accident happened and after jk went to the police station to give a statement. the original article was also framed with wording to make the accident seem worse than it was and was purposefully vague to allow for speculation. yall swear armys are crazy only when its bts that are the victims of trashy journalism.
  16. OH_mes did that. when i checked the original article i did not see that pic. unless it was deleted
  17. it technically wasn't defamation...what was said was true, but the problem was that he received leaked info about an ongoing investigation that didnt need to be publicized and embellished it in a clickbait title to make the whole thing seem worse. but that is not defamation
  18. what are they supposed to do exactly? if they have grounds to sue him they're likely already in the process of it. but its a guy with connections to the police. how easy is it going to be for them to take him down?
  19. likely because of the title. OH_mes translated it like "BTS Jungkook is currently being investigated for causing traffic accident, violating road traffic law". its weird that they felt the need to frame this like "jungkook broke the law and is being investigated" instead of just saying he was in a minor car accident.... it feels like they're trying to vilify him but thats just my take
  20. glad it seems to have just been a minor accident. it happens to the best of us he and the driver were both treated for minor injuries, like scrapes and bruising, so it was clearly just a mistake. driving is dangerous. 5 people in my life have been rear ended and ended up with totaled cars just this year. hope everyone stays safe.
