tbh was dongpyo even trying to choose only for popularity? seems like mostly a coincidence that most of those guys ended up so popular since he said he wanted people who seemed like "center of attention" and visuals.

lol the boss team was actually one of the best performances of the night apparently tho so in the end dongpyo won. the fact that they split the teams so unevenly and hyungjun, mingyu and jungmo ended up in 7th sense was actually a blessing

idt he's going to overtake yohan. top 3-5 maybe but it also depends on what goes on in the performance missions. i don't see what wonyoung rlly brought other than being a pretty face with decent skills. hyungjun can definitely dance. he just needs to figure out his rapping.

well idk the exact timeline but yeah it will probably be 2 or 3 days after the ep. they do not upload videos of the performances as a whole. it is individual cams of each person in each performance. and they will all be uploaded sometime before ep 4 and before the voting closes all on the same day.

if they were doing a baseball game it would have happened already. as for an mcountdown perf doesn't seem like mnet mentioned anything about it.

part of me thinks its half a coincidence that people that are shown in the ending pose of the theme song each season end up being quite popular. charming people will usually get attention even if mnet gives them bare minimum screentime.

while i do agree them making the X trainees do a lot of the learning of the choreo on their own, separating them ect did hurt them, the point stands that a lot of the X trainees were just not that great overall. like, jungmo, mingyu and hyungjun did not get particularly good reviews from the 7th sense performance from what i saw so it leads me to believe they truly are low level overall. also i think a lot of what happened overall was just not shown in the episode. they probably worked with the dance instructors more than what was alluded to. mnet always snips stuff out of context to make it seem more dramatic.

The funniest part of this undergraded talk is that most of the guys in X didnt move up far or didnt move up at all. maybe the trainers knew more than we think. Idk, I think we need to be more specific with what "pushed" means. Pushed is getting a disproportionally large amount of screentime compared to everyone else. Large amounts of screentime in every episode. Daniel was "pushed". The only people this seemingly applies to rn are Mingyu and and Hyungjun. Mnet clearly has plans for them and their storylines. Other people you mentioned did not get a lot of screentime in ep 2.

the bnm trainees def gave the best performance. AND the fact that the song was self produced? rhymer is rlly training some high class idols. tbph all 4 of them deserve to debut. but one of them is very under the radar which is sad. wonder if sihoon or junghwan will be able to slip in with eunsang. that would be awesome. woojin showed last season that the slow runner wins the race.

its obviously on purpose. there's no dramatics if everyone gets the grades they deserve and no1 moves after re-evals. by making sure some rlly bad people got higher grades than deserved and some rlly good people got lower grades than deserved they guarantee interesting rank changes and drama during the training. the trainees are all just pawns in this game.

What is a "good amount of content"? They've shown him for what 5 mins in 2 episodes with the entirety of his screentime being a quick sob story and his audition. Its way too early to say they want him in the group when there are many others they clearly want more.

all i did was state my opinion? how is that discrediting anyone? at the end of the day there were better picks for center in both s2 and pd48 based on what was shown in their respective episodes in my opinion. it just felt weird to me. anyway i don't care enough to talk about seasons passed in such detail. my mistake for bringing it up. i should have know yall couldn't handle people disliking your favs even though you dish it all the same towards this season's trainees.

honestly dongpyo is the first center of this series i've legit liked. i was never a fan of yoonjung, daehwi or sakura and always felt they were overhyped af. but i feel the opposite with dongpyo. and maybe its easier to accept bc fans actually voted for center this time. bc i always felt like the way daehwi and sakura became center was sketchy af. also prob helps that he's bffls with eunsang

i mean its obvious why mnet won't let ifans vote. aside from the fact that they've had issues with chinese botting before, they want a group that will do well in korea first and foremost. the only thing they're doing to cater to ifans is the online streaming of the eps and the eng subs on the vids.
