  1. It actually sounds like the look I'd like to achieve.
  2. Hey guys, I'm back from the sephora sale. I picked up 2 foundations + 1 lip addict + a bunch of samples. I actually had no problems with the service for once. Life is good.
  3. I hate when that happens. I like sales, but not when sales happen right after I purchase something!
  4. Oh... Maybe it's because we have different priorities. I like light and moisturizing foundations because my skin's pretty dehydrated and I don't need that much coverage. I love Jenn and her reviews. I do find though, she tends to favour foundations that are thicker with more coverage. Maybe you should try it out if you can score a good deal on it. ;)
  5. I've never been able to understand why that missha bb cream is so popular. I've tried it on my hands once and it was just too thick for me. Are you going to be ordering it online? My cousin did once and the her estimation of her colors were way, way off.
  6. Apply etude house play 101 pencils to your eyes in a very gentle manner! Don't smear it onto your contacts, because it will never come off. Not personal experience at all Cool haul. All the item looks pretty promising!
  7. Oh f--k... You... you don't know me in real life, right? It's kind of scary how you spelled out my real name instead of my username... I did a quick price check for you on the HR website and it says that the eyeshadows are about ~90CAD. I guess 4 eyeshadows for $90 is better than $110?
  8. Holt Renfrew and Nordstrom. Personally, I think HR has much better service than Nordstrom. Whichever's closer to you I guess.
  9. Oh. I live in Canada too. Your skin sounds very similar to mine. Are you sure that you have dry, not dehydrated skin? It's almost impossible to have dry and comb. skin at the same time. I thought that I had dry skin for the longest time until a beauty advisor at shoppers told me, no. If your face feels tight after you wash, then you probably have dehydrated skin. Don't ask me how to fix it if you do, because I have no idea. But It's important to make sure you are using the correct products because they are very different for dry vs. dehydrated skin! When I retire, I'm going to move to Vancouver and soak up all the moisture that I can. I use the smashbox primer. But really, I don't really notice a difference. I am considering to get hourglass mineral veil and/or laura mericier primer in radiance, but I have to finish some of my existing primers first (smashbox, benefit x2, shiseido... ).
  10. There's not much difference, to be honest. I kind of feel ashamed that I re-qualified for rouge this year. Maybe it's because I don't exercise much and the city that I live in is pretty much cold from september - may. I've never had a real need for primer. With/without, there's not much difference for me. Is the BB foundation stick moisturizing? Would you reckon that the problem would be fixed when you replace your primer?
  11. It's official. The sale is here! How? I've never had a foundation separate on my face.
  12. Every girl wanted to be a disney princess at one point. But I doubt anyone wanted to be a princess' parent. Why? Because 99.9% of all disney parents are deceased.
  13. I might have OCD, might.
  14. I don't know what to believe in anymore. Half the shop I buy from are from the same parent company... Yes, please let me know how they turn out!
  15. I could downsize anything but my makeup brushes. I need a dozen to survive a week. I never re-use a brush unless I've washed it so in a busy week, I'd need a lot of brushes. I'm a germaphobe.
  16. What are the signs of depression? I am rarely happy these days because I'm forced to live with people I hate (my grandfather). I am still on student loan and I don't have the finances available to move out. My mother doesn't understand me. Each day, I am focused more on how much I hate my life than to study. What can I do? What should I do?
  17. If it makes you feel better... I had a breakout recently too, because I was too lazy to wash my face. Strangely enough, I have yet to come across a foundation that breaks me out. That or I don't correlate it to the changes in my skin.
  18. What else did you get? :) I'm so jealous, warehouse sales/makeup shows never happen in my city.
  19. I put it onto my neck directly afterwards if the mask is very saturated.
  20.   Out of everything that I've tried, I liked: "Wonder Pore Whipping Foaming" -  It's a pretty unique concept. The product you dispense from the container is in a foam form even before you start rubbing it.  "Play 101 Pencils" - Basically products in a pencil form and can be used for a variety of purposes. ie. Some pencils can be used as liners, blushes and for lips, although they have recommended uses listed on the website.     I didn't like: Hand and Feet sheet masks (sold separately) - Took forever to put on. Product packaging not well designed. Effects not apparent. Waste of money. Lighter coloured lipsticks - Was not flattering at all. I had a lipstick from them that basically transferred no pigment whatsoever and instead left me with a lip full of glittery mess.    Honorable mention: Etude House BB Magic cream - That is now discontinued. It was my holy grail because it gave me the right amount of shine and coverage (minimal).    It's rare for me to own so many things from the same brand. Etude house is pretty cheap and their product performance is generally pretty good.
  21. Korean sheet masks are a quick fix and moisturize the skin pretty well. Leader's insolution is a pretty good brand.
  22. Just a friendly reminder to everyone who wanted to purchase from etude house that they are having a free shipping event over $50 again. And the sephora sale is going to start on the 12th of April for vib rouges. So excited! Are you guys planning to buy anything from the sale?
