Maybe not, but Joy did get the most amount of screen time in ICC, and was the most promoted in the teaser photos in addition to also getting the most lines + getting the most distinct hair colour. She was also the "mystery member" only member not promoted before debut, so I think there's something "special" about her. I'd consider Seulgi more "face" material.

I'm pretty sure Wendy is the main vocalist, she literally got a whole solo to herself in Happiness

She got the most lines in ICC + She did get the most screen time (along with Seulgi, but I'd argue Joy may have even gotten more). Also Ireseul were both centers for the choreography in ICC. She also gets more recognition within Korea after AC. I'd say her being designated as visual would make the most sense.

I would say Seulgi has sharper & edgier movements while Irene has wider/flexible movements Also, I believe Joy is the visual

I'm not sure.. they addressed Seulgi as the main dancer in one of the interviews, but Seulgi seems more like a Krystal/Luna while Irene seems more like a Victoria in this situation

I hope good. People keep talking about the group's "dynamic". If we want a good dynamic, I don't think she needs to be extremely talented, she just needs to be an on par performer with the rest of the members.

I think the reason why Joy has slayed this comeback so much is because she's the only member who's actually diverse and multifarious in front of the camera. We have Seulgi who's a great performer, but is constantly either giving us the "bear smile" or the same fierce face (nevertheless some of the best parts in the song are her anyway), and the other members sort of drown in the background. Then again, I think Seulgi and Joy got the most impeccable styling. The fringe on wenrene isn't really doing anything for me TT YT is a more international fan thing But compare the likes/comments/overall reception to their teaser. I just think the views are odd.

I don't mean it like that.. I mean that.. compare the total amount of likes/dislike/comments to that of their teaser, there's way more reception on their MV, so why are their significantly less views ? exactly.. weird

I have no idea what "system" RV will take. I wouldn't be surprised if RV was a graduation system since SM wanted SNSD to take after Momusu in that aspect, he's probably going to experiment with a rotational group sooner or later. Regardless, Irene is just not a singer. She is usually at the front during dances, and the most promoted as a dancer along with Seulgi. Also, if you look at the pattern of the most recently debuted SM group (F(x), EXO, RV) the face of the group is the dancer/performer (Kai/Krystal). The fact of the matter isn't whether you think Irene is good enough, but about the goals she sets for herself. One of the reasons why she doesn't express her goals is because of the constant doubtful responses she receives due to her isolate personality.
