  1. They NEED to do Immature on Sketchbook - that song already got some traction and its totally one step from catching on. Plus it'll show WINNER's wild side in contrast the more classy Baby2 or Senchi.
  2. Just caught up on everything. Never thought I'd live to see the day Jess would be banned Anyway, my advice is to stop going into those threads or posting in them. If people want to circle jerk, they can do so without us giving them a target. Sometimes, silence is gold. Letting them go on and on - basically "Winner sucks" "Yes Winner sucks" "No Winner really sucks" "Can Winner suck anymore?" is good enough to show the stupidity of their reasoning. Us trying to convince people that Winner doesn't suck just gives them material to work with without them being forced to stick to 3-4 of the same arguments. In the end, we just waste our time and get worked up for no reason, and they achieve their goal of bashing Winner and making their thread successful. None of us are EVER going to convince them. Just save your breath. Better use of time would be do all the voting stuff and streaming stuff. Or harass YG on Twitter.
  3. Mhhmm I don't know - telling them not cry is him teasing them in his own way not him actually expecting them to comply. No one ever has a choice about crying right? It would be fake otherwise. However, some people do hold it in or learn to suppress it because they feel its something they shouldn't do in front of others. Its usually people who have been told that from a young age or someone who has been jaded or hurt very badly. The fact that he cried says to me that the nasty comments have not jaded him. Also, why he cried makes him much more endearing in my books - rather then cry for himself, he cried for the people he thinks he let down. I have much more respect - for lack of a better phrasing - for those willing to be vulnerable in a public setting despite already being under a lot of scrutiny. It shows great personal strength and self-awareness.
  4. I think Yoon and Hoon both cried during SSK and KpopStar...I think But yeah, they all get emotional easily but its usually cause they're touched. Jinwoo and Yoon usually keep it together even then. In a way, I think its beautiful that Taehyun isn't afraid to cry or show emotions like that on national TV. It shows a deep sense of self-confidence. Wonder if he told his hyungs he cried though - or they'll be seeing it for the first time on TV.
  5. I hope they go on!! Ive been asking for this for MONTHS! Even asked about it today! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ I like Actor School so far - I think the sincerity and seriousness will work in Taehyun's favour. If it was too much of variety show, the knetz will all be like "Oh look at this guy! Can't even act and now he's mocking the profession" or something. It was hard to watch him cry. I havent seen him cry from being sad or upset since I watched WIN. But he seems to have won over the Actor School hyungs and the teacher with his singing and his firecracker ways. I hope people who watch it find him endearing <3 LMAO at him stripping so casually! First Yoon and Jinwoo in WTV, the Hoon today, and now Taehyun XD Only Mino left XD I think I'll enjoy this show even if its a bit intense. The editing doesn't seem to paint people in bad light or create drama but allows the cast to deal with their issues straightforwardly. And the teacher seems sincere about teaching them, so I'm interested in seeing how he goes about it.
  6. By the way, how fucking CUTE is MPD?!! Did you guys see him holding two lightsticks and waving it behind them during the fanmeeting? Then he uploaded his fancams before they performed And he took so many!!
  7. Oh that's right! Totally forgot. I can't believe that was their first cb stage after 1 year and 6 months!!!! They looked so comfortable!
  8. THEY ARE OFFICIALLY BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKK!!! I loved the stages today! Three different stages, three different looks, and three different feels for each! They all looked great! Immature was fucking awesome!!! They looked like they were having soooo much fucking fun. Died at Hoon I loved Baby Baby - the BODYWAVES THE BODYWAVES - the stage really matched the song! Sentimental!!! THEY GOT BACKUP DANCERS!! And the choreo was so cuuuute. I like the casualness of it. AAHHHHHHHH I hope they are performing on Sunday tooo
  9. So excited for todayyyyy!!! Comeback stage aaaaand Actor School. I'm glad they switched I'm Young to Immature - as much as I love love love I'm Young, the more WOT5 stages are the better it is for them.
  10. LOL I was going to reference Twilight to highlight what I meant then I didnt so funny you did after ... unless you are indeed referencing the actual Quillayute tribe - in which case ooops
  11. Random: Does anyone else think that Mino in Senchihae unintentionally looks like a very stereotypically First Nations/Native American?
  12. I have to disagree. As someone who has experience in a similar field as music, you really need at least one person to be the "guide" so to speak in the creative process. Especially if individual people in the group have strong individual preferences. Going with your gut is important but you also need an external check of some sort before you wrap yourself around a particular idea to the point that you alienate group members. I can't emphasize the sheer frustration and annoyance of having to deal with someone who is so convinced by their gut instinct that they wont entertain opinions or refuse to change since it concerns more people then they themselves. The easiest way to not have group members fed up or just simply going through the motions of your idea/song etc is to have your ideas vetted early and often. Really creative people sometimes fixate to the point that they need that external criticism. Its not like if its good, other group members will say otherwise. The kind of "doing your own thing" you mentioned is fine if its just you. A complete nightmare in a group situation unless your group members are sheep or have similar preferences as you. Also, since Winner's philosophy seems to be go at it alone then come together, you need the opinions from group members to ensure what you came up with is viable and second you need one person to make sure that there is cohesiveness and sort of a core set of standards is maintained. It make sense that it its Jinwoo because he, by his position in the group, is the most neutral musically. As for YG, its better to try to filter and tweak using a member of the group before going to YG. If they all showed up there without having vetted each others work and YG hated everything and asked the other group members "Didn't you listen to this?" or something - what are they going to say? If they say no, it shows a real lack of team cohesiveness. I also dont think Yoon was being "flowery" - what he says jives with what Hoon said about Jinwoo being the most important person during their debut album preparation and they've all said something similar subsequently. Yoon just said it more clearly why they think Jinwoo is important. All in all, it probably isn't as a black and white Yes or No from Jinwoo but more of a bounce of ideas and songs at him till both the producing member and Jinwoo (and the rest) agree. I would guess he acts as a tie breaker if there is divided opinion as well - which jives with Yoon's previous statement that not everything they do is completely agreed upon by everyone. But tbh as long as Winner members are happy with the process and it works for them - why should we criticize it.If it works for them and they dont feel stifled, then its fine.
  13. Yoon on the importance of Jinwoo: Let me cry a river Kang Seungyoon for President. Winner members please brag about the awesomeness of you leader.
  14. I'm hyperventilating from the sheer second hand embarrassment I feel reading this trans. Like....how the fuck does someone get the nerve to do this BEFORE the song was fully released? I maybe could've understood afterwards but BEFORE?!! At least she owned up to it...I guess probs to her for that I don't know how I feel about them reading DM's XD Most are probably nice but there must be some pretty terrible ones mixed in... The interviews have been really enlightening. I'm just tempted to post them as answers to people who always asks or go on to IC's about Winner being "boring" or not dancing or a hundred other things. Also, I'm glad to see that they were naive about their situation.
  15. OMG OMG OMG!! WE'LL BE GETTING V APP APPEARANCE NOW!!!!! (I will forever have my phone with me and endure nights of interrupted sleep LOL )
  16. LOL Caro! Same! Baby Baby too XD I kept humming and low-key singing both at work yesterday and the library patrons totally thought I was cray cray or talking to myself in gibberish It dropped out of the blue but there is a banner on Melon advertising it so people should see. Don't think its aimed for fans tbh - its to get non-fans curious. If it catches on, it would be awesome. People get to find out about their personalities plus their song recommendations are always so good so that should impress as well. Melon also recommended Senti for about an 1 hour around the time Winner Wonderland dropped.
