idk wut to say w/ dis kind of ending :derp:

Finally got around to watching the finale and I am furious...

Show didn't even bother answering all the questions it posed, like why the game misbehaved in the first place, or why when Professor Cha left Seoul he was free from the game but Jin-woo wasn't.

That finale was really slow with so many long-drawnn out church scenes. I was constantly checking how many minutes were left to see when Jin-woo would finally make his return and then we get this utter shit. Hee-joo never even met him!!!

  2. Honestly I wish PSH got more screen time over the course of this show, it's one of the biggest reasons I and many others chose to watch this show.

It's really been all about Jin-woo and his story, I wish Hee-joo had more stuff to do in the middle eps.

There have been a disappointing lack of guest appearances but not a big deal.

I really really wish the final 2 eps will answer out questions regarding the rules of the game. We still don't know why it is that Cha Hyung-seok died from being killed by another human in the game (Jin-woo) but Secretary Seo dies by virtual characters in the game. We have been seeing a lot of terrorists in the past few eps, if one of them had killed Jin-woo would he have died?

Lastly, I wish there were some cool parkour scenes with Jin-woo escaping from a groupn of terrorists when he had no ammo or anything lol

  3. this drama messed up my new year eve :rlytearpls: i was marathoning 6 episodes and suddenly hearing the fireworks out of nowhere then realize it's new year already!!!

i watched the first 4 episodes long time ago but the plot was sooooo slow they took like 15mins just for yoo jinwoo beating the same person on the game, so i dropped it. i just picked it up again today and i'm screwed i cant stop.

my question is why was secreteray seo dead??? yoo jinwoo was killed many times by another computer player and it's just game over, so why sec. seo dead? is the writer messed up the script or what

I had the same question about secretary Seo too. Why did he die but Jinwoo hasn't? Hope they clear it up soon.
  4. ep 5 thoughts

well that was honestly a pre bad ep.

I felt like nothing of significance happened. Jin-woo gets his injury treated and spends the rest of the ep in the hospital running away from Cha Hyunseok. It felt slow too.

Netflix ep 5 description says that Hee-ju makes a shocking discovery but I didn't see it.

And at the end surely Jin-woo would have seen Se-ju lying on the ground yet they didn't show us it before. Unless Se-ju was in the game world which is likely. I'm not sure if he's alive or not, might be "dead" like Cha Hyun Seok.

  5. this show continues to blow my fucking mind.

And how good is Shin-hye's Spanish? Qhat a bae!

Who says the drama will flop :imstupid: anyway congrats the drama got a good ratings :ahmagah:  and the story is very interesting it hooked me a lot also the graphics during their battle scene was great.

    Just watched 4 episodes straight

Will PSH join the game too? :imstupid: seems like she's a healer to me. I'm shookt that his opponent became npc on the game. Sejoo didn't even told Jinwoo that there was a bug in the game and yeah his sister will also in trouble.

Did they shoot in Hungary too? cause i saw some fanaccounts last time Chanyeol went there for filming ? or nah?

this OST sounds so good. :rlytearpls:

yeah they shot in Hungary too
  6.

love the ost but during the chorus does she sing "I need to re a light?" lol

wow what a plot twist at the end.

ep felt slow and not much was done, I mean the time elapsed from the end of ep 2 to like halfway of ep 3 is just a few hours.

But what an ending. I don't think Mr Cha is dead, or at least I think he comes back. He's one of the main actors they can't kill him off so early and I doubt he would agree to it.

Also the music at the end, not the OST, sounds like it comes from a movie. So epic and dramatic I hope they release it.

    Ep 2 7.3%

    Ep 3 7.0%

why is it going doen ottoke?
  7. wew finally finished this show after taking an unintentional 3 week break lol at least I finished a show and not leave with only a few eps left unlike someone ahem...

that was a nice finale. It kept in the spirit and mood of the show - fun, breezy, full of action, funny and feel-good.

The video goodbye to Ah-ryung was kinda emotional. And with like 5 minutes left I was wondering how we were gonna get a happy ending, slow me didn't think Ah-ryung would be driving the van lol.

I'll be down for season 2, but it needs more sexy Krystal wearing less clothes lelelel

  8. She's the new DJ for SBS Power FM Youngstreet radio and had Kwon Soo-hyun and Seo Eun-soo as her first guests last night.

If she has dedicated fansub team, they could sub it though it might be too much work as she'll do this everyday.

    dj?

    everyday??!!

so she chooses the music for the radio show? I assume she also talks like other radio hosts and has interesting segments too

  9. i just finished watched ep2

base from yoojin's narration voice, he stated as "year ago" so i bet those shooting scenes was a flashback, i bet he went to granda before. so i believe sejoo has related to yoojin.:imstupid:

they're related but only made a phone call to each other like this year in ep 1? :/

if they're related that also means Yoo Jin is related to Jung Heejo.... omfg more family incest!!!!

  10.

oh gawd i just finished watching ep1,

those Hyun bin scenes its like some of Xbox game that i played before, i dont quite remember lol

everytime he gets killed/game over so many times, i was loling sooo hard lmao

    giphy.gif

I know I was laughing so hard each time he died and had to walk back to the bar to get his sword ahahaha

hopefully show has more funny moments throughout. I mean I'm not expecting a comedy but would be good to balance out the thrill of it ya know.

  11.

fyi, it has subs already lol :hurr:

I watched it before I went to sleep lol. Was getting impatient

Just watched ep 1 and I'm already completed onboard and intrigued.

The thrilling second half more than made up for the rather slow first half and answered a few of the questions that were asked.

As expected, there were many beautiful shots of Granada and the animation with the sword fighting was great.

The funniest bits were Hyun Bin swinging his AR sword in the bathroom while a guy was peeing behind lol and him having to go back to the bar everytime he died to get his sword back.

Also, why was the toilet clogging scene so long?

  12. This has to be my fav drama of the year. The ending was sad but so bittersweet. They still had each other in the end :') i absolutely loved how much they loved each other. The portrayal of that was so so lovely. They healed each other. So beautiful

OMG IT IS DEPRESSING! I didn't cry as much but did my heart just hurts so bad ugh hOW I hated that people (including the doctor) keep things from Moo Young but I also understand because if it could be helped it's so much better if he didn't grow up as the murderer's son, but I also hate that despite that he's also an unknowing victim, Tak and Jin Gook (even with his guilt) only saw him as some reflection of his father's sin that they both doesn't have to really care, especially Tak.

But, I guess, these kind of things just happen and people are just like that. They are impulsive. Moo Young should have known to not trust Se Ran without proof, but he's already come to that conclusion on his own and was only looking for confirmation, not real proof. Se Ran thought she's had him in her palms but she didn't know she's crossed a line. Jin Gook, he just want what he thought is best and decided for his sister what she could and couldn't handle and knowing that her lover is her parents' murderer's son was one of them. He's a police, he's had many chances to follow his suspicion of Moo Young but he took it real slow and let the guilt halted his action, as if he didn't find the boy, he didn't have to face what he's done years ago.

Moo Young's said he felt like he's being toyed to Jin Gook, and that's how I've felt on the last 2 episodes.

Some PDs better have whatever drama with happy ending for MooKang prepared because I'm ready to watch them be lovely and happy foreveer

I guess one of the big morals of the story is to not withold important truths from important in your life because it will well and truly come back to bite you in the ass.

I feel that so much or nearly all of the tragedy could have been prevented if all our main characters were open and honest with each other, instead of lying to them in order to try and protect them fron the bitter truth. A sweet lie only proves to hurt them instead.

Imagine if Jin Gook made been open to Jin Kang about their relationship and what he did to Moo-young's father on that fateful day. Jin-kang died not knowing that Moo-young had saved her life when the boiling kettle was about to fall onto her but he took the brunt of the damage. In fact when Jin-kang asked why Moo-young broke up with her, he lied and said it was because JinGook murderered his dad, when the real reason was because he thought they were siblings. He took that secret to his grave in order to potentially save her fron distress, although I feel it's something she should have known.
