  1. It's just a bunch of her music videos.
  2. Nogizaka46 will be on the cover of next week's AnAn magazine which is a HUGE deal since they're the most mainstream female-targeted magazine in Japan. And yes, even with so many people trying to make sense of Ikoma's being center, I still cannot understand it. People are simply not into this girl.
  3. As expected, Namie will be on the cover of the July issue of Sweet. So far, she will be in five June covers (ViVi; Steady; InRed; Gisele; More) and two July issues (Sweet; Gina). She'll most definitely be on the cover of July's S-Cawaii too. http://pires7.blog.fc2.com/blog-category-2.html
  4. That doesn't make sense cause Maeda Nozomi has been one of the main models for Popteen for years now.
  5. Has ANY drama with an AKB lead not flopped? I know Yuko Oshima's FujiTV drama last season was a hit but she wasn't the lead and the one she is starring now is actually doing badly (and I know she isn't technically an AKB anymore but still). I don't get why anyone would expect Mayuyu's drama to have good ratings? And it's not in the golden slot. The golden slot is Monday's 9 PM, it's the one with Aiba's drama. Also, RE: Ikoma and Paruru. I don't think Ikoma is well-liked outside the fandom. She is just easily recognizable to people because she is on TV a lot. And then, with fans, no one cares about her. Particularly, I have nothing against her but I don't understand why she is pushed as much as she is since clearly people aren't buying it. Does her parents invest a lot of money on Nogizaka or something? Because it makes no sense. Especially considering how she basically brings no sales at all for the group. Paruru, on the other hand, is easily recognizable by the mainstream public and is also popular among the fandom, not to mention she has a lot of female fans, which is a very powerful bonus within AKB (besides her, we have KojiHaru and Milky with considerable following among girls).
  6. So, in addition to GISELe, More and ViVi, Namie is confirmed to be on the cover of the July issues of InRed and Steady. I am assuming she will also be on the cover of the August issue of Sweet (since the July cover was already announced to be Saeko) and she will probably also cover S-Cawaii.
  7. According to every Japanese outlet and reseller websites (and common logic seeing the amount of dates), yes. According to Western weeaboos, no. So I guess it depends on who you believe. I don't think agencies, both Korean and Japanese, really care about sales numbers anymore. I mean, they do to a point because they want media repercussion but I truly suspect they have moved on from trying to make them sell millions of copies and become huge household names, like in TVXQ/Girls Generation/KARA days. The reason I say that is because, c'mon, promoting in Japan is FREAKING EXPENSIVE, it costs A LOT and it takes SUCH long time. I mean, even if you sell spectacular numbers, the promotion in itself takes a lot of your bottomline. What they seem to invest heavily in is in tours. Because tours are much cheaper to promote and bring a lot of revenue, much more so than albums, not too mention media attention. The final results (at least short-term) are spectacular. You can see this strategy with EXO, for example, who are basically in Japan solely for tours and don't waste their times in full-fledged, costly and time-consuming Japanese promotion. I know this strategy is very controversial and many dislike it but it did work, because now they're doing Domes. I think that's the way AVEX/SM/YG are trying to go in with.
  8. I would guess they came bundled with the tickets people were able to buy through lotteries. If you didn't got tickets through the lotteries, you wouldn't be able to get the single promo either and you had to buy it the normal way, with its normal retail price.
  9. OMG, I cant. There's literally a WALL between her and her fans. Way to treat your fans Paruru! You know she's REALLY popular when she pulls shit like that and still gets a good ranking. Paruru and Watanabe Miyuki are the ones that are going to follow KojiHaru's footsteps as the fashion magazine/female public darlings.
  10. They probably will be on the next Music Station, which will air on the 24th. The line-up hasn't been announced so far though, so we can't be sure but it'd be unlikely for them not to be there.
  11. E-Girls invasion in fashion magazine covers. Kaede will cover CanCam next month and Shuka Fujii will cover JJ.
  12. What happened with Amy the other day on TV that has netizens going crazy? She won some money in a competition?
