It was fine in the beginning, but then cracks started forming, which is normal, no relationship in the world go by without some conflict, and no one wants to hang around each other 24/7 (not even married couples), but the fans kept pushing and pushing and pushing and pushing, and eventually the rivalry got to them and it just kind of crumbled. It's honestly not worth explaining the whole situation and it's gradual descent due to the many unknown and unconfirmed variables in it, so we just leave it at they've split up, so stop voting for them during B50. We'll see more about them during the election, as i assume they'll be performing at the concert. Also DePhocas, you're doing work no one else is willing to do (don't look at me). I hope you can keep at it, and keep breaking down the news for the international fans who don't know Chinese. OR If you don't want to do it every time there's news (and you need to confirm whether or not it's a rumour), do a weekly roundup weekly.

Asides from what DePhocas said, it also promotes the girl or group in a different light, which you'd otherwise would not notice. Generally what happens is that the fanclub asks the girl what song they would like (if it is a solo or a duo), otherwise the fanclub proposes a few options to the member. Tho how the stranger groupings end up happening (aka last years number 1 song) i have no clue...

A song going viral can also be very annoying, cause you keep hearing it. that's why people react 'oh god, not another one of those songs', especially since it's a short clip, so you hear and see the exact same audio and movement hundred times over. And it's even worse when you don't like the song.

Really? I disagree slightly. Her Chinese sounds Taiwanese / Foreign Accent, but her English doesn't sound that Americanized to me, she's losing her Australian accent, but it's still there.

The more prominent accents, yeah, but otherwise they're talk to speak in standard Mandarin accent.

That is going by the assumption that their original group is still active, and not disbanded. Edit: That being said, that doesn't satop the companies from building new groups after the show's over. That's still highly plausible.

It's less that they want a older group, but more that the girls just so happen to be older. Because China just doesn't have a solid girl group idea, and it's mostly like, live streamers these days. Also, the trainees gotta do something with their skills, so why not. Assume every girl is like 23, you can't go wrong.

Hunan TV has also been going through some crap for showcasing foreign talent rather than chinese talents. The general populous actually started having problems with Happy Camp a year or two back, and as far as i remember, they haven't been able to regain their original popularity.

Also, to whichever post above that talked about people going through survival shows hating each other at the end, yes there is hate fostered between members, if you count competitiveness as hatred. But remember, men to go to war together, come back as brothers. I'm sure there's a female version out there somewhere, and you could probably apply it to training together to an extent. After all, it is a war field out there.
