This is so good! This is going to be my new anthem for a while.

Forget your kpop boys, this is the true boy group we need right now
Evanescence replied to Mees Madds's topic in Music
I love BSB! They will always remain my favorite boyband. -
Like one of the users stated above, I also can't hold grudges or be mad for long. The longest I have ever held a grudge was 1 day.

I wish I could find a clearer version. It may be on twitter.

Ok. Suga is very cool. I love his smile. This is my favorite fancam for him.

What made you decide to stan Suga?

Lu Han and Tao join in on the latest TikTok trend

I love it!!!! -
Great! I'll recommend Class of Lies, Her Private Life, City Hunter, Cinderella and the Four Knights, K2, Healer, and You're Beautiful

What genres are you interested in watching? I know you said lighthearted, but I wanted to see if you would be okay with kdramas that are lighthearted, but suspenseful or drama filled?

To be honest, I was shocked when Lee Soo Man helped Loona. I was glad to see it though. I'm not normally into gg, but, I'm going to have to give them a listen.

I agree. I want the new bg to debut next year and the gg this year. I wonder what their sound is going to be like? I hope it's r&b mixed with pop and dance. I'm happy that NCT 127 is starting to gain recognition. I think SM is going to focus on them more since they're starting to pick up speed. I still prefer NCT Dream though. I hope SM considers making them a fixed unit. I can't stand to see Jaemin leave.

I heard that their new girl group is going to have about 10 members. SM loves their massive groups. Do you think they'll debut both their girl and boy group this year? Or save the boy group for next year?

Even though having fans for individual members brings more loyalty, I bet SM is slapping itself now given how terrible akgaes are becoming. SM seemed to have wanted to create a fun and interactive environment between idols and fans. I noticed that as well. Their boy groups tend to hold all of their focus. Fun fact: HOT's song "We Are the Future" is about overcoming the financial crisis I still cringe when I listen to that song. I'm happy SM learned never to include the n word in their songs again. But it also shows how much black culture influenced SM. I feel like BOA is SM's princess. She deserves the title though. I can't wait either. Here's a video of H.O.T during their early years.

Same. If I'm not mistaken, Lee Soo Man had a deep love for rock music as well. I've noticed a pattern that many talented individuals who created either huge groups or companies had their start at SM. It really shows why image is very important to them. It makes more sense now why SM loves having so much control over their artists. I think they did it out of fear. However, it also shows that they are willing to give multiple chances to individuals. I'm not sure if this is the same anymore though. I find it funny that SM used to focus on hip hop given the fact that they're not known for producing the best rap artists. I developed a newfound respect for HOT after discovering that SM's survival rested on their shoulders. I watched some of their old interviews and you couldn't even tell it. I would've been a nervous wreck.

Here you go. So far there are 2 parts to it. For me, one of the most shocking parts was SM possibly going bankrupt if it wasn't for the success of H.O.T. https://hallyuplus.net/threads/history-of-sm-entertainment-1989-1995.2060/ https://hallyuplus.net/threads/history-of-sm-entertainment-1996-2000.2085/

As much as SM bothers me, I agree with you. They pretty much started the Kpop trend as we know it today. If you want, I can link info about how SM got started. I was shocked about some of the info.

Dang that's a long time. It seems that longevity runs in current/previous SM groups.

I was wondering who would flaunt their no care attitude about this and then I saw it's from Florida. Surprise surprise. I mean is it really that difficult to consider other people?
-
Same. Especially since Exo and Bts have different concepts and audiences. I wasn't sure how to categorize Seo Taiji either. I don't know much about Shinhwa except their issues with SM. I'm still working on who to add to my top 10 list.

I pretty much agree with this list. However, I feel that if they can list two groups from the 2nd generation, they can put Exo in with the 3rd generation as well because they did a lot for Kpop.

How is your Government dealing with Corona Virus?
Evanescence replied to doki-doki's topic in Random
Right now the government isn't doing too much, but hopefully that's about to change. My state governor is trying to stay ahead of it. He's taking it very seriously. So far I think he's doing a good job.
