So were Insoo and Park Yunsol's apologies about meeting/talking with specific fans - were those in reference to sasaengs as well? Dang though I didn't even know they would have saesangs at this stage ._. I do agree with you guys though - they don't have experience so this could be a good lesson to them in the future if they become idols. The way fandoms work over there is a mess in itself. I mean being a fan is one thing, but thinking you're entitled to their attention and to stalking them because you give them stuff is another. I don't have an issue with these boys dating at all - they're young and they should do what makes them happy, but becoming an idol limits a lot of experiences in the form of social interactions. And I get that they aren't experienced to recognize sasaengs and how detrimental they can be first hand, so I definitely understand why they might interact more with these fans. Fan gifts are everything when you don't have popularity, so it must mean a lot to see some people giving so much of their life to them. But at the same time, fans can be VERY petty. Heck, dating rumors can throw an entire fandom into flames sometimes and if it's confirmed, oh boy. *referencing almost every dating "scandal"* As soon as oppa looks at another girl, some fans will go mad. And those aren't even saesangs. Saesangs are basically stalkers and their behavior can sometimes go beyond harassment. It's crazy to think that some people will buy their idols these fancy gifts and expect to become their girlfriend in return. Like ???? Your idol is not a product. And the amount of times people find their idol's phone numbers and call them nonstop, or break into their dorms, it's just crazy to think that saesangs do this with no remorse whatsoever. As an EXO fan, it worried so much to see the members SCARED to go places sometimes because of possible run ins with saesangs. No idol, trainee, or other occupation specified should have to be scared about living their life. I'm happy to see any idols dating, but there's always a part of me that pities them because god knows fans will never let that crap go. I mean it's 2016 and we still have people comparing Sungmin's marriage to Kangin's DUI T_T. I'm okay if people fantasize about dating their idols, but to delude yourself to think that your idol couldn't possibly love a girl other than yourself, or to think that your idol would love you cause you buy so many gifts to them and buy mounds and mounds of albums, is a bit... I'm so confused right now though - like when did this mess even happened and why only recently now are some of the boys apologizing? O_O There's bits and pieces but not one full story

A report had come out, bringing to attention that Alex, the youngest of 'Boys 24,' was in a place serving alcohol despite being a minor after a picture was posted on another member's SNS. Regarding this, 'Boys 24' said on August 15, "The restaurant Alex entered was not a pub; it was registered as a Korean restaurant. He entered with the consent of his parents and did not drink, so there's no legal issue. In light of Alex's underage status, we had made a reservation at a restaurant that he could enter. He drank a [non-alcoholic] beverage instead of alcohol, and we made him go home early. We apologize for going somewhere that could cause misunderstandings. We will be more careful from now on."

I saw the part where they said delivery fees not included too ._. I don't want to pay for shipping LOL. I would buy a photobook so I hope they do that - even if it's just cuts from the survival. I hope they do have promotions! Some of them have the knack for variety for sure.

We only know certain details about how 1 year performances are gonna go so I'm gonna just wait to see what they're gonna do. Because top6 or how many they choose is based on both popularity and skill so surely in a year, Liveworks will come up with an ideal concept that fits all the boys they plan to choose as well as where they wanna go with the group. Honestly, at this point we need to start separating ourselves from identifying them with their units. Because in a year, they will no longer be in their respective units for sure and will go their own ways to their own companies who sign them and will be with new boys who might not even have the same color as the unit they were in. Having a color is important for a group, but the idol themselves should be flexible and be able to do well in a variety of concepts/images because it's rare that an idol groups stays with the same concept. Even then, people start calling them out for being boring or overusing the concept and not trying anything new. The industry breeds on individuality as well as variety, so having the image of them with only their unit color could prove to be negative later on if people only associate them with their boys24 unit.
