You are pretty much spot on here.
In 2014, girl groups like GsD, AoA and APink are the among the top in gaining attention and popularity, but they are still far behind the top tier groups. If I have to rank them, 2ne1 & SNSD would be on a top tier by themselves. Next tier would be Sistar and f(x), who are well established groups with a big fan base. After that it becomes debatable. I would give an edge to GsD since they hit popularity much early in the year comparing to APink, hence we see their members everywhere. With that said, 2015 could be a big year for APink.
I agree! Miss A [imo] did not have a good comback but they do have Suzy, enough said!
On the other hand, I feel bad for 4Minute and Secret to be on a downward path.
