  1. Boku dake ga Inai Machi is definitely shaping up to be one of this season's great anime, but my heart belongs to Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. It's pretty, interesting, incredibly unique, and a tour de force of voice acting (seriously, never heard better). It's getting slept on right now because of the former.

Man, Taec and Lee Jin Wook both look so hot. If I were Taec I'd be mega jealous of LJW, he did a drama with Ha Ji Won and got to plant a couple of kisses on her.

  3. Thanks for the recommendation! I'll watch it once I finished with Haikyuu.

My friends told me to watch Bakemonogatari, but they said it has a LOT of talking in one scene and I don't really like that so I don't watch it. I watched a few episodes from Toaru Majutsu no Index and they talked too much so I lost my interest.

Let me know what you think! I found it to be a ton of fun.

On-topic: I am currently watching Fate/Zero. It's very well-written and produced, but a bit slow right now. I also don't like one of the main characters so that's annoying.

  4. I'm watching Haikyuu because of my friend who is a Haikyuu trash lol and been planning to watch Owari no Seraph, is it good? And I'm not finished watching Plastic Memories (I tend to like stories that has one character is normal/human and the other is robot/other beings/not normal)

btw if I you guys don't mind could you recommend me some action+romance animes like Guilty Crown or Kyoukai no Kanata?

If you liked Guilty Crown, Mirai Nikki is my #1 recommendation for you. They are quite similar. It's a fast-paced thriller that centers on a very unique romance. Good music, great heroine, and the plot is not as messy as Guilty Crown.

Also maybe Bakemonogatari...I haven't seen it though.

  5. Finished Mirai Nikki today. It was a ton of fun, though I'm not really fulfilled by the ending. It is so great to have a non-traditional lead and a love interest that isn't your usual tsundere or moe blob. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys thrillers or the battle royale concept.

    The OP is god tier.

  6. As a general note, I think all of us webtoon readers should try to put webtoon material in spoilers now. Since more newbies will be frequenting the thread than before. It's just a nice thing to do.

I really liked the pilot! The actress for Bora is great in the role. Euntaek is very different from the webtoon...in the show, he's way more lighthearted and upfront about liking Bora. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. I'm trying not to be one of those people who thinks everything has to be exactly like the source material...but sometimes it is better.

Man, Jung was giving off serious serial killer vibes when he was watching Seol and co. from the library. Scary. This episode did a really good job of building up Jung to be the bad guy, then proving that he wasn't (telling on Sangchul, dropping Seol's class). It makes Seol out to be the unreliable narrator. So it's always up for question whether or not Jung really is the malicious guy she thinks he is.

Can someone clear up the timeline for me? It was always confusing for me. I can't remember when Seol took time off school. Was it:

Time off --> meets Jung for the first time --> "bad year" --> gets the scholarship/start of this year

    OR

Meets Jung for the first time --> bad year --> time off --> gets the scholarship/start of this year ?

The filming for Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo‘s highly anticipated new drama “Descendants of the Sun†has been finished.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo Wrap Up Filming for “Descendants of the Sunâ€

According to industry insiders, the crew wrapped up the last shoot in the early morning of December 30.

“Descendants of the Sun†has previously drawn attention for being entirely pre-produced, which was an uncommon practice in the Korean drama industry until very recently. Many star-studded dramas are now fully written and produced before airing to allow parallel broadcasting in both Korea and the strictly regulated Chinese television. Some recent examples of this pre-production trend are “Saimdang, the Herstory†starring Lee Young Ae and Song Seung Hun, as well as “Uncontrollably Fond†starring Kim Woo Bin and miss A‘s Suzy.

The filming process for “Descendants of the Sun†was not entirely smooth: Song Joong Ki was hospitalized for a couple of days last month after suffering injuries on set, forcing him to cancel some scheduled shoots. Fortunately, his accident did not cause delays in the overall filming schedule, and the production crew has pushed forward with its initial plans to have the premiere take place in February.

If you haven’t seen it already, make sure to check out the first intense teaser for the drama here.

    [bTS + INTERVIEWS]

    :rlytearpls: I'm so excited.

Also, Seo Kang Joon & Lee Sung Kyung have filmed for an upcoming episode of tvN's Taxi. I don't know why, but in the article translations I've seen, they're mentioned to be leads, even though they're not, lol. But anyway! I look forward to seeing what the two of them will share. XD

Well by the kdrama system, they are the second leads so that's probably what they were referencing haha. Although from as far as I got in the webtoon, In Ha was barely around then. I wonder if she's more prominent in season 3 or if they beefed up her part to more closely fit the kdrama style of the love square.
