Hello guys~ It's been awhile. It's that time of the year again - comeback. So I just wanted to come here very quickly to tell y'all that I'm preparing another giveaway for the new album. I will try to make the official announcement tomorrow, just letting everyone know already that y'all can count with the giveaway - in case you're doubting if you should buy or not, or if you want both versions but can only buy one yourselves. I'm also done with my exams now so I'll try to be around here more often. I'll be back tomorrow with all the info for the giveaway! Thank you for supporting my threads until the very end and for promoting them here. I told you I was not going to thank you here, but I couldn't help it And also thank you to everyone else who came to any of the threads to make a comment and appreciate Jimin with me. While I was posting the Jimin threads last month, I was planning a series of threads for every member - I even have the name of the threads and all. RM was gonna be the next and I mostly have the threads already formed in my head, and a part of me thinks this is the best moment to go all out and post appreciation threads for all the members, but I kinda also feel like this is not the moment to post any of them. So yeah, I might take a step back. And I might change my mind tomorrow and start posting threads any other day. I don't know. I was gonna also announce a little giveaway, but I'm probably taking a step back with that too.

I came to this thread with the intention to announce a new giveaway and I'm gonna leave with the feeling that maybe I need a break. I don't understand what the fuck is going on with this fandom anymore.

I haven't posted here since OH came back to life but I wanted to appear for awhile to wish y'all a Happy New Year, but I don't even know what to say anymore because I came back to something I wasn't expecting. Anyway, what I came here for. Happy New Year everyone~ I hope y'all have/are having/had an amazing end of this year and an incredible 2017!

One of the reasons why I think the members are so grateful toward the fandom is because they know how much ARMY promotes them everywhere. Things like helping them get collaborations with artists they like/admire, the fact that a huge part of the fandom joined because they were attracted by other ARMY. Their title track suddenly playing on radios all over the world. And now the WhoIsBTSProject. It's not just watching their MVs, buying their albums or voting for them on polls. Maybe that's what motives RM to try and always speak in English to fans - for speeches or V lives. Because they acknowledge all the work the fandom is putting out there to make BTS known as much as possible. And the members themselves are the ones motivating the fandom to do all this stuff. I'm not as active as some fans are, but I've never done as much for any other group as I've done for Bangtan. BTS and ARMY is the perfect duo. Thank you for doing this for all the threads

I have been wanting to quote you for awhile but it didn't let me until now for some reason :/ You just confirmed my theory that Blood Sweet & Tears was indeed played in 11 different countries at the same time~ That's awesome. Bangtan only. I don't listen to Los 40 either because the music they play is really not my style, but I'm gonna have to keep an eye on that station from now on in case there's more BTS. Los 40 also has a TV channel, I don't know if y'all have it there in Costa Rica. I'll keep an eye on it too. Maybe they'll play BTS's MVs some day...

RM is the cutest, I can't believe what I just watched. He looked like a kid, wearing his Ryan pajamas and eating so messily And he couldn't stop moving, and he just kept thinking of new things to say and going 'Ah!'. One thing I will always be thankful for is how thoughtful he is. He has so many things going on in his head at the same time and he is still able to express them all. It's impressing. And the fact that he knows there are a lot of international fans watching him and so he starts saying English sentences here and there, and then he tries to actually translate what he has been saying. Everybody needs to appreciate Namjoon. He is all the things I like in a person. I know he makes mistakes like all of us and that he is not perfect, but he's one of those people I can't help but respect and admire. And his skin is not real. It can't be, it has to be a joke. My own skin feels insulted.

I'm on mobile so I can't quote right now but, regarding that radio play in Spain. The station it was played on is Los 40. It is indeed a Spanish station but it also airs in other Spanish speaking countries. And it is the most relevant music station here. By far. The specific show the song was played on is 40 Global Show and it airs in 11 countries: Spain, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic. I'm guessing the show is exactly the same for all the countries. If that is the case, then BTS didn't only play in Spain but in the other 10 countries I listed too. And on the #1 music station. If someone knows more about this and I'm actually wrong, then please correct me. Looks like it is safe to say BTS is the biggest K-Pop act in Spain right now. Probably the biggest act ever. Spanish ARMY are working really really hard to bring BTS here. I think they will be making a wrong decision if they don't come to several European countries for this tour. I need to start listening to the radio more, I really only listen to the Rock station...

This is the reason why only my best friends and my brother know I like K-Pop. Spain has a long way ahead in terms of acceptance and just respect in general. It's not pretty but this country still seems to have this idea that anything coming from Asian countries - in terms of entertainment - can't be taken seriously. I kinda think K-Pop will never be a thing here because of that. The general public who knows what K-Pop is probably think it's only a thing for superficial teenagers, and the Spanish media is not about to cover news/write articles for just teenagers to read - even if they're wrong and it is actually not the case. K-Pop is still growing a little in Spain despite everything else. That much is true. And BTS has an important role, like really. I have never seen this amount of people being interest in K-Pop before. Maybe, MAYBE, if it keeps growing people will leave their prejudices behind. Anyway, my hopes for a concert here come and then disappear so easily... They actually have fans here, but I don't know if that's enough.

Lolol, it was my way of procrastinating too. It's nice that K-Pop is gaining a little more relevancy here and drawing attention, but that article is making it look like a thing for teen fangirls - even if the girls they interviewed were close to their thirties. And the way the girls talked about K-Pop left me feeling a little uneasy too. I don't know if it's because the journalist cut off a lot of things or it is because that's exactly how they were referring to K-Pop and BTS. It was a little superficial to me? The music is catchy, they dance in synch, they include a couple of English sentences in their songs, their MVs are flashy and so I like K-Pop. I mean, I'm not going to deny that the entertainment industry is tremendously superficial everywhere, but there's always more to it. I wasn't waiting for them to start talking about BTS in a deeper way - like their lyrics or them working on their own music or all those things that actually make BTS popular on the 1st place - but I still got disappointed. I don't know, I don't think that article is going to do anything for K-Pop or BTS in Spain. The only people reading it are going to be fans. El Confidencial is not the kind of online journal you should go to, in my opinion, if you want to make K-Pop more well-known. The general tone of the article was almost mocking. And that last quote talking about the Beatles That shouldn't have been part of the article.

Welcome to all the new people posting here~ I missed that incredible short V live but I swear Kim Taehyung is too pure. It looks like no one particularly cares but I translated that Spanish article because I'm bored and I have other things to do but I don't want to do them. So, under spoiler. They don't talk much about BTS. That aside, I don't like the article at all, but I wasn't expecting anything else.

This makes me feel like it's not a delulu thought when I say they might come to Spain, but I don't know how to feel about this article

Tae's V live When he left for a little while and he let the music playing, I felt like I was calling one of those customer support phone numbers. But I can't believe someone can look so good while wearing that horrendous bathrobe, being barefaced, trying all kind of unflattering filters and looking for elephants on their own bodies. I'm late for this but now that's finally official I'm so happy for that OST. Vocal line coming through~ Tae and Jin voices are so suitable for OST, they'll do great. I'm thankful for the way BigHit is doing things. They are giving opportunities to all the members, as equally as they can. I think this also has to do with the fact that the boys are not selfish. They support each other, and respect each other's time to shine. They're all slowly but surely getting the chances to do some individual work. Looking back, those short films are the solo tracks on the album were brilliant ideas. Bangtan's future looks so bright right now. I think we can look for awesome events next year. Their tour is gonna be successful - they might even cross their dream of having a Tokyo Dome concert out of the list. RM's 2nd mixtape and Hobi's 1st are around the corner. I can't picture their next comeback not being even better than WINGS. We have Tae's drama, and the OST. I think we'll see Jin on more solo projects - acting and/or variety. Yoongi is probably gonna keep working on new music - for Bangtan, maybe for some of the members (I still remember that Jimin song he said he was working on), and for a next Agust D mixtape. And I'm waiting for Jungkook and Jimin to surprise us with something - althoug I still count on them doing covers/dance practices. When they talk about being together for another 10 or 20 years, I think they're one of those few groups that can make it happen. This is beautiful. I don't know if you're studying anything related to art or if that's the path you want to pursue for your future, but you're incredibly talented.
