Wow my last post was last 2018 and I am back because of the news popping out and all I am thinking is my buddies here I am so sad when reading the news, but will always cheer for the girls even though they have their separate paths but still thinking they are not since even though they leave SouMu they are still the best of friends and they felt genuine for me from the start so I am still hoping this is just a Label change for them to have bigger opportunities. We are always their buddies til the end.

The thing with BlackPink is that their song quality is so great that you can't just make a good song it needs to be in line with their concept and also keep the high standards which is very stressful as a producer so I understand why its only a mini album since maybe some of their songs needed polish for the next comeback, But then again this has been the trouble of their predecessor which has been passed over to them. I've just watched their Love Bug showcase video and It was very satisfying to watch it was so cute omg. I have replayed it for like 10+ times and I'm still shaking, and snatched because of the choreo.

An unbiased as possible review of the songs in the album Time for the moon night - this is the most polish song in the album I swear I tried listening to the melodies the instrumental is like as good as rough in terms of overall artistry. the vocals are great and their notes go up and down in the verse which will not get you tired of listening. (Imagine this song in Japanese this would be godly) Instrumental 10 Vocals 9.5 Score - 9.75/10 Love Bug - I actually love this song the most in the album and Sowon raps are my jam. The melody is like a nostalgic video game that is hiphop lmao, the instrumental breaks on this song is so good. and also the vocals supported the instrumental well it does not go out of place. Instrumental 9.0 Vocals 9.5 Score - 9.25/10 Flower Garden - I like this song since their vocals are actually the ones that shines But Yuju really is very powerful and slays this. and the instrumentals the electric guitar for me is like their bread and butter that makes this sound like this song is Gfriend. The progression is actually straight up predictable but every build up is very good. Instrumental 9.0 Vocals 10.0 Score - 9.5/10 TikTik - One word "Funky" thats what the instrumental made me and also the chorus is really will make your head bop lol. maybe this song could be on the awakening album since it is very fit to Fingertip era, but yeah all around a great song. the song is well made since the vocals are clean and really mashed up well with the instrumental thus the head bop thing that I said. Instrumental 9.5 Vocals 9.5 Score 9.5 Bye - This OST type of song is also very well made it does not have any awkward parts at all vocals are clean the instrumental like its a slow song and the electric guitar really makes the instrumentals very interesting and also very GFriend-y. I actually like this type of genre. Instrumental 9.0 Vocals 9.5 Score - 9.25/10 You are my star - its like a nostalgic gg song that is dreamy, Instrumentals are good nothing special since it sounds nostalgic the vocals are good. Instrumental 8.5 Vocals 8.5 Score 8.5/10 Album Score - 9.3/10 for me this is their best album up to date, they really stepped it up big time by changing their overall image and sound direction and actually I like GFriend being risky for their concept since that really make them grow as a group and not only that they actually are slaying everything that is thrown at them this album the B-side can compete vs the title track. But IMO unlike Hear The Wind (snubbed gem) I think the songs here are better to be just B sides tho.

I'M SO LATE. JUST SAW THE MV AND I HAVE TO SAY ITS LIKE A ROLLER COASTER THROUGH THE VERSE IT GOES UP AND DOWN BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW THE FLOW OF THE SONG IS IDK MAYBE ITS THE MELODY BUT ITS A BOP! AND THE CHOREOGRAPHY IS SO SHARP AF OUR GIRLIES ALWAYS DELIVER!

SoMu is becoming a bit better at scamming since many doubted the song on the preview oh boy many buddies got baited. But in seriousness the Choreo is so difficult to pull off how can they be doing that in x2 dance the intro is fast and the movements are sharp like how will that be humanly possible. It was not a misstep at all, that time when they were like trying sexy concepts since their covers suggests. so it is understandable SoMu to take Fingertip over HTWS, its just that the song is on the wrong era (this song could lose vs love whisper as title track if they push it too on that era). they could have hold out the song for atleast this year and release it as a single but SouMu always go for the mini album or full album in which I like. EDIT: Fingertip also made a statement that they can do hard choreography like what boy group does that gain them respect.

But how about flower garden because it takes two to tango in a music show if ever I wanted it to be flower garden than TikTik So I'll bring a freaking riot shield to stop this mess

TFTMN is very deceiving since the parts given is like the 1st verse and the verse before the dance break, its like they hid the great parts well of the song

TFTMN is great but when you think about it Flower Garden and TikTik sounds more upbeat and since they got plethora of upbeat title tracks maybe they just wanted a change but still this is some gamble SouMu made and I am happy they did it since it made Gfriend more versatile to the eyes of non buddies.
