  1. OK, I love to see Hwa Sa get love by moomoos... but I have to say, that I still think this is HwaSa's best cover.. Hwa Sa and jazz is the perfect combination... she was born to sing this type of songs... she reminds me of the legendary Billie Holiday always:

I would buy a jazzy CD all sung by Hwa Sa in a heartbeat...I think I'd probably buy 10 really.  :ahmagah:

  2. source (complete article): http://www.soompi.com/2016/06/27/mamamoos-brother-group-vromance-unveils-plans-debut/

On June 27, VROMANCE shared teasers on their official Facebook page for their upcoming debut and announced that they will be releasing their first mini album “The Action†in early July, featuring the title track “Girl Friend.†The song is described as being funky and fun, with a swing-inspired feel, that’s bound to challenge any preconceptions of male vocal groups only putting out ballads.

RBW describes them as a “vocal group that keeps the traditional feel of other vocal groups, while at the same time being versatile and able to pull off a variety of different genres, including fun and trendy music.†They add that the group’s been working hard to prepare for their debut for four years with some of the country’s best producers, and that their album will be something that people from all age groups can enjoy

Oh, yes... I like the sound of that. I'm really, really waiting to hear what they'll come up with. Did any other boy group ever do that funky/swing/jazzy style, let's say, similar to Mamamoo's beginning sound? I can't remember any....

  3. Well, Mamamoo are one of those rare groups, where live performances are even better than recorded ones. And combine that with their awesome charisma and all the special things they prepare for their events with RBW, you get more than your money's worth if you go on their concert in my opinion. I'm not surprised - if their Moo Party last year was any indication, Moosical is in the bag, I think, with both soldouts not as a matter of "if", but more of a "when".

    I'm happy for MMM!  :ahmagah:

  4. Don't worry too much about those Solar haters, those are mostly translated from Pann, which is sort of a korean version of 4chan - meaning a community filled with trolls and well, people just bash everything and everyone just for the fun of it, just because they need to vent their frustrations. Nothing serious. In fact all the stories about Solar where present only there and nowhere else.

To add to kaichi's posted "timeline" of Solar's hate: to understand why they started to hate on her, you must take in consideration that Solar is actually been paired with Eric Nam, who is very, very, veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery famous right now, probably the "hottest" guy in Korea. I didn't even know about him before, but it seems he's been nicknamed "Nation's Boyfriend" and you know that whenever somebody get's a "Nation's" prefix, they are reaaaaaaaaally popular. Now, think how many fangirls are jelous and probably getting only angrier and more vicious with time passing with Solar and Eric Nam on WGM, and you get things like these. Luckily, they don't have much to bash Solar for except for stupid and superficial things like this one, which is practically just grasping at straws.

    Just ignore that sh*t and let's move on. It's a non-topic.

  5. Ok, you people put this topic on a bullet-train... I don't check it for 2-3 days and it's 10+ pages of backtracking  I'm super excited for the Moosical concert. I'm proud of them and happy they broke the record as the shortest time since debut to make this 2-day concert for a girlgroup. Mamamoo are a group that transcends age barriers, so I already thought they'd sell out concerts (their Moo party last year, which was for 1200 people per event, sold 2 times back to back totalling 2400 people, both in a couple of minutes! ...so, seeing the success of IS2, Melting etc... for this 3000x2 events it's already pretty much assured in my opinion that they'll smash it easily and sell out both).

Whoever decided on the name "MOOSICAL" is a genius! The plays MMM is doing on their group name is just phenomenal. People were laughing at the group name, but RBW/MMM are showing it's a great name. Moobong, Mooparty, the whole radish internal joke becoming a "movement", Moosical, Moomoos, I mean... it's hilarious and cool at the same time. The ad is fantastic and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the color continuity from Mr. Ambiguous era - these small details show that the people responsible for all of this actually care, they backtrack, think about it and don't just take the easy way to get money out of their success. It makes you feel that if they care for "little things" like that, they care for fans much more and that's one of the most subtle charms of Mamamoo/RBW combo.

  6. Holy... there's a lot of new radishes coming into the Intl Moomoodom... nice... you're all welcome!

And when it comes to selfies with Hwasa, they're serving fatal vibes

    YASSSSSSSSS, FLAUNT THOSE SEXY THIGHS!

:lub:  :lub:  :lub:  they both look great! Oh God... speachless  :lub:  :lub:  :lub:
  7. Well, at least Mamamoo and BTOB did that song exchange on the TV show, and If I'm not mistaken both fandoms cheered for both groups at that time, so the relations are probably good. The problem will be getting tickets - that will probably be an all-out warzone for all the groups attending, it's inevitable

  8. Oh, finally. I thought It was only me seeing things which (hopefully) weren't there so I didn't want to post about it, but since a couple of you mentioned it - I agree completely. Whee In is in a bad mood, like really bad mood. She's the one in the group who is the worst at hiding her emotions, so in the last couple of weeks she always looked grumpy/pissed off. I don't know what it is and all we can do is speculate but something is not okay, and It's obvious.

  9.

Also tbh this might be an unpopular opinion but I think Moonbyul looked best when her hair was black. It just screamed classic elegance, but maybe I'm biased because I generally prefer dark hair. Though I will say blond Moonbyul was absolute girl crush material (though when is she not?). Maybe if she wore her hair similar to the hair styles she wore in UOAY and YTB eras rather than just pin straight when she has dark hair perhaps?

Oh believe me, Moonbyul all-black is not an unpopular opinion  :hurr: ... I still think all-black was the hottest and best looking Moonbyul until now:

I can't remember which performance this was... but Moonbyul all black and with garters... OMG...  :ahmagah: I think this was one of the less "conservative Moonbyul" looks she did until now  :lub:

I mean... just imagine her in these leather pants, just with black hair OMG  :lub:  :lub:  :lub:  I'm not even a Moonbyul fanboy, but damn she'd be looking good:

  10. I'm so happy for their win! I'm happy for my queen Hwa Sa slaying this song so hard and leading the group throughout it. Just a mini-rant because I think Hwa Sa doesn't get a lot of the praise Whee In and Solar get for their vocals, but she's been outstanding not only this time but for a looong time: Hwa Sa is the silent workhorse of the group. Whenever they do covers or IS2 or have to memorize quickly and improvise adlibs, she's the go-to girl of the group. She doesn't have those highnotes of Whee In and Solar, but she almost always gives feelings and pours her soul in-to her singing. She's just great! I love her style so much and I think it's one of the reasons she gets the most featuring requests of all of them. I love Hwa Sa, I love how Mamamoo always works as a group and they make every song Mamamoo-style and all the girls shine brightly!

I love Mamamoo! I just... I don't know what to say any more to not be repetitive, but I agree with what Yama said earlier: they are gunning for that legendary status and we're so lucky to be witnessing the process!

  11. Thank you!

It's nice to know that we registered at OH for the same reason, I didn't have anyone to talk about Mamamoo before and it was a little sad. :'(  Now I am not alone anymore. :)

Thank you! I already had checked the first link but I didn't knew the second one. I'll read everything now, thanks! :)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

So, since it's okay to ask here... I'll really appreciate if someone answer my questions.

    1. I heard that Hwasa and Wheein were already trainees at RBW when Solar and Moonbyul joined them. But for how long the four of them were trainees before debut?

    2. Also, in which company they were trainees before joining RBW?

    3. They don't live together anymore, right? When they moved from dorms?

    4. Why are Hwasa and Moonbyul called Rare Line?

    5. Who is the most popular and least popular member amongst fans? I've seem people saying that Moonbyul is the most popular but some other people told that she was the least popular, then I see people saying that Solar was pretty popular and others said it was Wheein...

These are my questions. May someone help me?

    1. I think they mentioned sometime that it was cca. 2,5 - 3 years mostly (with Solar having the shortest time logically since she was scouted, while the other three naturally were gunning for singers since the beginning), only the last year or so as them 4 - because before that there were some other trainees vying for a position in Mamamoo (there was a video at the LAmoomoo concert, where they had a 5th-6th member with them dancing in an evaluation, which Esna mentioned).

    3. They moved just a little bit after UOAY era finished. They said there was too much chaos with the four of them together, so they asked RBW and now they are living in apartments in the same building or something like that. It was mentioned just quickly once or twice in their interviews, so naturally we don't have details

    4. Because they have the least interactions on camera and performances, practically everywhere where they're not fooling around. One of the reasons, most probably, is that if you'll notice, Mamamoo almost always positions themselves in this sequence from (our) left to right: Moonbyul - Solar - Whee In - Hwa Sa. So, them two being on the opposite sides of the group, naturally there's the least possibility to have interaction. The two most obvious "lines" in Mamamoo are Moonbyul-Solar and Whee In-Hwa Sa, so all the other combinations are rare, and Moonbyul-Hwa Sa is just the rarest one of them all, hence this name

    5. most popular: (in my opinion... just from what I observed on different communities online)

    Kmoomoos: Moonbyul, Solar

Kcasuals: Solar - wall of China - Whee In (because of collabos and tv shows) or Hwa Sa (million of collabos with rappers, Hyuna, Kisum, etc...)

    intlmoomoos: Whee In, Moonbyul

    intlcasuals: Hwa Sa, Moonbyul

  12. I wouldn't worry too much about that Pann post... there's no bashing except 1 stupid post, the rest are just wondering why there's no pics from  her past. Nothing to panic about...

Honestly, she probably did one or two smaller things, but not even close to what most the other girls do. Solar's practically the same as her earliest pre-debut days pics. And well... when would she have done it? They are promoting or guesting on show I thinnk almost uninterruptedly for more than 1 year or so.

  13. Mamamoo vs Spica for Sugarman. Woah guys, sh*t's going downnnnn lol

Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm not too excited. I hope there will be only a couple from each group or something like last time (Solar+Moonbyul) and not full groups.

I like Spica, not as much as Mamamoo obviously, but they are a good group - but their (exclusive) intl fans are so insecure and annoying whenever MMM comes up, that I just can't stand them. Maybe I'm traumatized from MMM beginnings when they felt the need to show up whenever MMM did something and felt the need to speak about them or compare them. I don't think this is going to end well...

  14. On the note of wheein; shes clearly checking out right now. her little interview validates shes fucking tired. i mean, when most of ur responses are parentally(not a word) involved it means you need to get the fuck away for a bit. shes what i love in ppl so im concerned for her and the group when your most energetic person has been clearly putting on a face. its obvious. to me, what makes me think the rest of the group is happy/enjoying life is reflected in wheein and i definitely haven't seen it in awhile :/

PS: hahah every mamamoo member is obvious on masked singer, they're insanely distinct. i wish theyed trid to mask it. (title) .....

Yes,... I wondered if somebody else uses Whee In as a "measure tool" of the status of the group. She's the one that just doesn't know how to hide her true feelings/status. I mean, the other three hide their "problems" pretty well and are much better at acting it out, but she just always shows whenever something's troubling her - be it tiredness, bad mood, grumpyness or annoyance. You watch Whee In performanc and, you can feel the pulse of the group
