  1. does the article specifically say 13 million people tho? because saying "views" doesn't necessarily mean that.
  2. To celebrate woo!ah!’s 1-yr anniversary, we’re holding online/offline event! For those who cannot participate in offline event, there’s also an online event! Please check out the image below!
  3. is that liberally 13 million PEOPLE OR is this 13 million views alone...meaning people could leave-comeback and increase their views. the latter is most likely the case. this is very similar to how views on Vlive counted.
  4. good luck to you then! thread: https://onehallyu.com/topic/837455-bts방탄소년단-butter-group-teaser-photo-1/
  5. yea it seems you were right about the retro vibes however they defiantly surprised us!!! i'm loving the new teaser!! I might actually end up liking butter more then dynamite. of course, we shall see what the mv look like tho lol
  6. yea styling right now for butter is unexpected. makes me even more curious about the mv tho namjoon pink hair is my favorite also! dynamite visuals were iconic
  7. tae cstans are known to be competitive when raising money, so i'm not surprise, but still wow o.o also didn't know there were people actually keeping up with how fast kpop fandoms raise money o.o
  8. Yea i think we understand each other better now lol. Same. If they enlist together then o.o?!!. But also BTS is the type of group that would try something like that too. So tbh I don't know what to expect for them. OT: While there's no doubt they make more together, BH also hasn't ever really tested their potential individually or as units.
  9. i'm not having those problems. the only problem i have is sometimes it lags...but overall it's running smoothly
  10. Adding: There are some stans who of course know Bts are Korean and like their music...however when it comes to activities they care more about Western promotions...and could care less about them doing Korean activities. (e.g Korean variety shows, talk shows, photoshoots, radio, etc...)
  11. I don't know about Blackpink. There are a lot of old YG stans (and GG stans in general) who stan Blackpink also. However in Bts case YES there are a lot of people who ONLY stan Bts. They usually say they're not Kpop fans tho. This is especially the case among the Western part of the fandom. It's very clear to see the community on twitter. My thoughts overall? hmmm I don't really care personally lol. People can stan whoever they want.. ^^
  12. Of course in a ideal world Hybe wants a group at the same level as Bts. Heck, every company does. However realistically it's a lot more strategic to focus on producing wealthy groups without stressing about reaching Bts level. And I'm sure Hybe is aware of this too. The spill is basically something some haters/trolls like to say which is why I called it so haha. Some people basically use it as a way to discredit all the junior groups under Hybe. Bts hiatus will be interesting. We've yet to know how they will go about it. But it interesting how so many people including non-fans seem to only think of BTS as group unit. As if there are no other possibilities except for all of them to go on hiatus at once for the military. i'm interested to see what the gg will look like
  13. yea, i still feel the cost is worth it. TT nah it's not even that...otherwise "positive" topics about two would be more popular. just because those two groups are the most popular in the west doesn't mean this forums is owned by the fans. OH is still filled with big 3 stans. especially SM stans. nowadays there's more produce stans... tho the franchise is ending.
  14. i think it's worth it. it's a one time cost that would fix a major problem.
  15. adding on: i mean, if our own tech team can't do it, can't we like outsource or contract out to pay a professional company to do the work instead...idk lol i'm just throwing around random ideas... ^^
  16. a proper search engine and tags. which also use to create the list of related/recommended topics at the bottom of the page. it kept everything and everyone linked together. easier to find information. i mean, there's a reason why big sns site use search and recommendation algorithms. honestly although i know tech team have gave their reason multiple times, i still fail to see why this something that can't be fixed.
  17. Yep, all these things do exist. And every company dream of having such loyalty let's be real. (Except while I do think Army support is wanted. I don't think Hybe is relying on Armys as much as some people think. Many of these junior groups are doing well gathering new fans of their own too.) The real question is will Hybe be able to keep this momentum long-term. Similar to other Big 3 companies (e.g. SM who were/is known having loyal stans too. SM reputation and image in Korea is huge. SM is basically known as THE kpop company.) I agree with all of this. Your earlier comment honestly lol sounded like the typical "trying to find the next bts" mess some people like to spill...OR that Hybe is producing all these groups because they're trying create (hope) for that one that will be a big hit. As if TXT and Enhypen are not already doing very well and sticking with fans. The reality is it's not necessary for a company to stress or risk relying on one group again when they can have multiple groups doing decent to well. As you said diversify their portfolio. Gain more stans. Being the very best isn't everything. At the end of the day, all the groups added to together is still profitable for HYbe. OT: I think Hybe true goal short term is to create as many groups that can at least equal BTS profitability.
  18. agree. i feel some people (and fans) simply want a reason to complain ><
