I've already said variety would be welcomed. I''m open to more from bts too, so not sure where you getting some of this from....I simply gave an example of back to back concepts that are similar, and explained that it's very much common in Kpop. It's perfectly fine to disagree with me, but I still will keep my opinion about Fancy and Feel Special. Two of my favorite songs from Twice. No need to get so overly defensive o.o lol

Fin.K.L was more popular than S.E.S after all...

agree. -
On topic is talking about what's in the OP. Your first comment was more on topic. I disagreed and instead of staying on topic you decided to go off it (deflect) by generalizing the fandom and talking about another issue.

I mean, this use to be the case in the US also. Before Trump was President...(well, actually before the whole Obama mess he caused)..he was a respected business guy. He had a popular reality show and more. Many people respected his work ethic and how he raised his kids too. But well all of that change. So nowadays anyone voting for Trump as someone to be respected, I'm side eyeing...

perf-k BTS (방탄소년단) - "Permission To Dance" Dance Practice

the choreo is good -
generalizing is never the answer. even more so for fandom as big as armys. 50k-100k will never represent the entire fandom. heck individual fandoms alone for each member is more then that. again, bringing me back to my main point, the fandom is way to diverse to try to label it. fandoms in general shouldn't be generalized tho.... again, this thread topic is about bts English tracks. bringing up outside issues is deflecting. if you want to have a conversation about other issues like racism then make a sperate thread about it.
-
Let me spell it out too....stop generalizing the entire fandom. not everyone believes bts isn't allowed criticism sometimes. i don't know how to make this anymore clearer for you. i truly don't understand why you keep going off topic. why are we talking about twitter. (also read my edit above.) sis, why can't you stay on topic. o.o
-
again, what is the point of bringing up unrelated mess to our conversation? stop deflecting and stick to the conversation at hand. edit: also i already said there are bad apples. i've been saying this for years. every fandom has them. what more need to be said?.
-
again, generalizing millions of people....it's honestly tiring at this point. you keep saying army this and army that. sis, me and you are having a conversation right now. can you stop bringing up random armys you've come across on sns lol...and this is always the issue with having conversations with people like you. it's hard because you already have a pre-determine outlook about anyone who is part of the fandom why do you feel i'm not listening to professionals lmfao? i disagree with this guy who didn't do his full research. again no one is saying bts doesn't deserve critic here and there. they've gotten more then their share and will continue to get it because they're so popular. in general, i know how to take criticism. i'm not blindly supporting bts. i also know when to read between the BS too that some of these so called professionals love to spill. not every professional or critic is automatically correct. and some have alternative motives. i mean, it is the entertainment indusrty.

wow!s Did you see our Relay Dance? We tried a different look! We had so much fun!! Wish you have this 'Hot Summer' a little bit cooler

the fandom is waaaayyyy to big to be generalized. giving an opinion doesn't mean one is right. including this guy. and as a journalist, feedback is to be expected. he tried to make a point and people can agree or disagree. in this case it seems most of the comments in the OP at least were reasonable. also the fact he completely ignored their last korean album is saying a lot about how much research tis person actually did.......
-
in my opinion, it's decent. i mean, we also haven't seen a group do as well as bts with their first english track ever either (literally no one expected such good results)..so we can't say what they would of done in the same situation....but we do know cases like this with in the korean industry and in general globally. in my opinion, i get similar vibes with feel special and fancy. of course they're not exactly the same, just similar. that's how i feel about butter and dynamite too. i didn't say you were attacking bts. it's fine to to be disappointed (tho lowkey i do think it's sort of wasted stressing about their english track). in my comment with you, i already said variety would be nice, but i also understand why they're going this route too in the west.
