Majority of the remaining members seem to be accepted by the public/knetz. However like someone said earlier, with 1/3 of Korean line gone, individual and group failures will be noticed more by kfans. Cube management will be even more crucial now. Also Gidle is considered a late 3rd gen group or 3.5 by some....in general the industry is already entering a new gen in 2022. So competition will only increase from here. I suspect Cube will debut a new GG in the near future. OT: CLC disbanded? Maybe the member from GP999 can join Gidle.

fromis_9 is transferring to Pledis Entertainment
satoori replied to Chuan's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Despite everything TT..Gfriend last few comebacks were of great quality. Mago and Apple **chef kiss** Hoping fromis_9 will receive more resources too. Also more frequent comebacks. -
Yea CU was massice. Alao Knetz does not necessarily mean the public. In most cases most of the post translated for ifans is of korean fans of kpop (or aka knetz)..

fromis_9 is transferring to Pledis Entertainment

So the rumors from a year ago ended up true.. -
Fromis_9: Hayoung and Jiwon Wooah: Nana and Minseo BTS: With BTS I don't ask for much. I would be happy with an unofficial official solo like a mixtape or something... Rapline mixtapes have basically been pushed like official solos. I want vocal line to get the chance to showcase their individuality also. Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook.

Fromis_9 is still active. Most recent comeback was in May. And the group is still doing some activities even afrer music show promotions. By 2024 or even as early as 2023, they could become inactive tho. edit: In general, So many groups have disbanded or inactive TT

In the Kpop industry I think this is way less common then lying about height and weight. For starters, everyone has a past that can be researched easily by kfans. School records, classmates, childhood friends, and etc. Also this:

This. In my opinion, no. NL no dout is doing very well on charts, but CU was a whole movement. Also unlike Twice, aespa members themselves are not getting much recogontion. The public don't even seem to know the group name. Twice on the otherhand was everywhere. This is also due to covid and lack of public friendly activities. This is also effecting competition. It's becoming obvious that while a few groups can handle the current virtual world of kpop, many relied heavily on public events and in-person fan interactions while promoting.

Disagree. The moment you quoted me, mess...Oh well it is what it is now eli lol ---------- Back on topic: I am curious to see how the new platform will function tho. Deleting all of Vlive content would be a huge loss. Even to Hybe. For example, Like others have mentioned already, their main veteran group literally help popularize the platform. Years of content. And 100+ eps of their ongoing self vareity show. Its hard believe Hybe is just going to let it all go. Which is partially why I don't see that being the case. We shall see tho

Exactly its just kpop. It shouldn't be serious. However there are people in every fandom who are petty which causes most of the messy fanwars and arguments. And people with their set negative opinions about certain things doesn't help either. Lets be real, your comment to me wasn't even necessary. We could of avoided all of this. I'm not trying to have the the last word. I'm responding to your responses.

Female idols in general have great proportions. They also wear fits that benfit them too... so they look taller and thicker then they actually are...but when you actually meet them in person majority of them are pocket size and pettite. Very common for east asians. I think alot of Western fans forget this?

Eli you do realize the fact you generalize fandoms can be problematic. It makes you autmatically combative sometimes in situations that don't necessarily call for it. Not every fan is the same. The article I posted was unbiased and rational. It showed both sides. More then one fandom. But yet instead you decided to spin it into something messy. Yes lets be real, this is kpop forumn, a fan comminity, of course the majority of the people are going to suppprt and talk about mainly groups they follow. I'm no different. I mostly post on topics about groups i stan or topics related to them. And yes if I disagree with something or find better sources, I'm going to speak up. How some people online view me is irrelevant to me, so...Also most of the negs I get on this site is by the same group. Again irrelevant to me. Thank you!

Depends. Bighit as a subsidiary still exist with in Hybe. So there's a possibility the new GG will debut under Bighit. Althought majority think it will be another subsidiary. About Txt and Enhyphen. Actually they did pull a similar stunt. However Hybe used BTS. With the GG there isn't a active GG under Hybe currently they can name drop. Agree... OT: Also tbh considering it's the ex-creative director of SM known for being the mastermind behind f(x) and other concepts. Plus with Bighit/Hybe focus on art and story telling...many people are expecting more then a westernized girl crush concept...

This explains why you easily believe misleading information and judgemental. Well, I hope your real life persona isn't the same as your online one because... o.o Bye.

1. Its been years. It's time for the GG to debut. Expectations are going to be really high tho. Alot of haters too. Although Hybe/BH isn't officially Big 3 they 're sort of treated like the pack, so....the amount pressure put on these girls is unimaginable. 2. All comapnies have been hit financially by the covid since they can't tour or meet fans. 3. BP name drop wasn't necessary. But Kpop companies/indusrty are notorious for mentioning senior groups.

I see. You already have some sort of pre-determined opinion about fandoms. Well specifically Armys in this case. Probably didn't even read the full article which is most likely why you assumed your earlier comment too... That one Army you speak of in the article literally used an actual Korean source (which is mentioned in the article). So it's not like they're just saying random stuff they're simply sharing facts. About the article itself. No one said it's should be worship or put on a pedstal, I was simply sharing it here since it was relevant to the discussion due to being a decent summary of what actually happeded...since this thread itself is a whole mess due to mis-information.

[KN] The kind of music video that gets divided opinions from idol fans
satoori replied to Youahaen's topic in Netizen Nation
Lol true!!! Should of post woh mv instead -
??? 1. "A screenshot of an information site that can be edited by users circulated" 2. "Speaking more on old content....the user" For starters "users" can be multifan or really any fandom. But in this case, most likely a random knet started all of this mess. More importantly i fail to see why what fandom someone belongs to is even relevant to this discussion? For example, one of the "users" who spread the mis information internationally is Got7 fan, but again the fandom is irrelevant imo. The article is simply talking about that random wiki-like post caused confusion in the kpop community. Also only one Army is sited in the article too. (which is the second quote)
