LOL   I chose a cheaper shipping method, with no tracking code ad delivery in about 2-3 weeks (like this I have less possibilities to pay the customs duties, and even if I have it will be less expensive).

Good thinking, hopefully they won't charge customs for such a cheap item. For me, the shipping was more expensive than the album but it was worth it because it came in just 6 days and it came in a really really really big box, literally a big empty box the size of a microwave oven, with just Taeyeon "I" album and nothing else.... such excellent use of space and resources, well done Synnara. 

 

No poster, because I still have flashbacks where the poster came in origami format from the Mr.Mr. Bulk Order. 

I can't wait to get my album and my Taeyeon photocard too!

Anyway, I hope you get a good photocard and enjoy the album when it arrives, mine is now safely locked away in a drawer, never to be looked at again, like all my other CD's, lol.

I really like the design and choice of images, which I think are consistently good throughout. My fav ofcourse is the shoulder one

Yes, if we are so excited and nervous, I can't imagine hoe she feels. Yesterday night before going to sleep I was wondering if she's able to sleep enough these days. But she looks excited and happy, so I think she'll be fine.

I think it'll be impossible for her to sleep well naturally, so it'll be down to her passion for this debut that will pull her through the difficult sleep deprived days ahead. Hwaiting!

Oh, God, how can I survive today? I can't believe it's happening! After all this time...I wonder how many times her debut was pushed back, for how long she has been preparing this moment. She didn't want to do it herself for a long time, for lack of confidence and to give priority to SNSD, then after what happened last year all the plans were probably pushed back again, and it was pushed back again this year for SNSD promotions (not complaining tho: if Taeyeon waited to give us the amazing SNSD's summer promotion I can't help but love her even more). And now it's just a few hours. 

 

The tracklist is quite interesting for the diversity: ballad, R&B, pop. "I" remains the most interesting track imo, for genre and topic; ballads are Taeyeon's strong point, in fact most of people thought she was going to have a ballad album or at least a ballad as title track, and I'm ready to be emotionally slayed; it's not a mistery that she loves R&B, so I expected something of this genre, and she already proved that her voice fits the genre so well: I'm anticipating; it looks like the pop song will be fun, and I'm quite curious.

I wonder how nervous she must feel now and will be feeling later today. Over all these years she has gained a reputation as one of the best solo singers in Kpop, I can't imagine the weight of expectations that's on her shoulders to do well with this album. 

 

Good luck to Taeng, I have full confidence in her slayage potential as long as she gives all her heart to it, it can't fail.

I'm so glad that her tracklist is this diverse. With slow and mid-tempo songs, it will hopefully show off her versatility as both a ballad singer and a pop singer, maybe even performer if we're lucky... I wouldn't say no to a "hush-hush" number with Taeng going into full diva mode!
