    Has there been any kpop group members that have debuted not being able to understand any Korean at all? I know she has memorised a few phrases, but obviously not enough to really understand what anybody is saying in Korean.

     

    Not that I know of. Their Korean might not have been the best but they've known it enough to communicate. But, of course, that's because they were all trainees prior, don't forget their producer pretty much plucked Alex out of nowhere.

    It's funny you had a dream like that because for some reason after their comeback a rumor came up that a former girl group member would be joining them.  :lol:

     

    There's way to say things about an unfavorable situation without coming off like you're throwing them under the bus or being disrespectful towards them. I think letting us know that she has visa issues/obligations in the US to take care of (or even simply saying "I'll be in Korea soon") would be enough to appease everyone waiting for her.

    Word like whatever happened to the makestar fund? I'll try to remain positive for the time being cause its still early February. I know this whole situation isn't Rania'a fault. DR keep up!

     

    I talked to them (the Makestar people) in late December and they said that there was supposed to be another update video going up before the funding period ended. I don't know what happened because the update tab said there were 8 things but it was never made public and then just taken down altogether. And then I emailed them again last week for any updates on it (the video and an estimation of when we could expect things to be shipped) and they haven't replied back.

     

    Lmfao yaaaas Stellar made their Makestar campaign and lived up to their donations. DR? Not so much....

     

    I'm just really interested as to why Alex hasn't been active on social media. Like what's going on? Is she actually in Korea as we speak and DR took her phone so she can focus? Like wtf where u at Alex?

     

    Stellar and their company did a great job of taking advantage of it! I think a lot of it is because their fanbase really got involved in it as well, they're the ones who came up with the stretch goals and video ideas for different milestones. 

     

    And she is active, she's just not really... posting? I see her on Instagram all the time liking posts, but she did just make another post on IG today, looks like she's still in the US if that picture is recent!

    When was the V app...when Di said she would be back next week??? andddd why is NO ONE saying anything about anything its so annoying DR get your shit together please or Alex just post a tweet letting us know whats up!

     

    The V app was today (Wednesday). I really don't think they know what's going on regarding her either, tbh.

    Oh, I didn't mean that she wasn't allowed to say anything because of her contract (assuming that was  directed to my comment :lol:), I meant that because of how her contract is set up (she has an American manager, iirc) she isn't managed the same way the other girls are, if that makes sense? I was thinking that it's possible that with how her contract is she isn't required to stay in Korea out of promotion periods, especially not if she has other things to do in America. And I guess it's possible she could be working on something group related as well (like picking tracks, doing some writing/composing/producers with the crew she had) that doesn't require her to have the other girls around.

    I doubt she's left the group so soon, it probably just has something to do with however her contract is set up and I guess overall their (as in Rania's) company's poor planning. If she has decided to leave then I hope she's the one to announce it so that everyone can move on. If not, then hopefully she returns soon so that they can move forward.

    ok so what happened to dr? if i could remember they had baby vox who were one of the most successful kpop girl groups in history but after the group disbanded why did the company lost their mojo afterwards?

     

    Maybe someone who has been following the company since those days could be of more help but from my view they didn't really change with the times. They kept trying to ride off of the Baby Vox name (with the debut of "Baby Vox Rev" and then Rania are considered the 3rd generation of Baby Vox) instead creating a group with an original image, and having their groups debut with more 'controversial' songs instead of something that could be considered more "public friendly" probably takes a lot out of them as well. And then money, debuting a group even before they debut is expensive and I don't know how much really goes into producing, cost wise, but I imagine that getting to work with Teddy Riley was not cheap and depending on how far they actually got into all the plans they've made over the years (tours in those US ventures) they've probably had to pay some sort of fees for those too....

    Lol I can kind of see especially with the big camera the cameraman uses. Maybe even copyright infringement or something by MBC! It would still be cool to see them prepping in makeup and stuff and then the cameraman either giving us a backstage live performance, or just sticking the camera on a monitor and then seeing them talk afterwards.

     

    I've had them in there forever!  :lol:

     

    Those would be cool to see! Like I know people had been asking for makeup tutorials so they could do that, and then their rehearsal... maybe even going around to meet some of their idol friends for something a little different than just the group.

    I just really want them to have this comeback soon. The comeback with the V-App, there's bound to be extra fans and viewers. Maybe even a behind the scenes of a music show. Is there a music show on Wednesdays.

     

    Btw, it kind shocked me when T-ae said it has been two months since they started their V-App show.

     

    Show Champion is on Wednesdays, and it starts 30 minutes before their V APP does. It might be a little hectic to try and live stream with everything that (I assume) goes on backstage though.

     

    Time is going by so quickly, it doesn't feel like it's been two months at all!

    i'm kinda lowkey hoping hyeme ditches the bob cut for their next comeback. it looks good but i wanna see her with a different look. 

     

    I think it suits her stage image but they could try some different styles with it. Her longer hair was cute though.
