Tbh me too, I still think there is no girlgroup who's better than SNSD in variety, but then again, variety shows back then tend to be more...idk, laidback(?) I don't know how to phrase it right hhhh my point is, back then, almost all variety shows always had idol groups as guests, and fans are more lenient. Groups like SNSD, SHINee, Kara, and 2PM can guest together on a show, sit side by side, and no one loses their shit. These days you can't have girlgroups and boygroups guesting together without fandoms crying over shipping and rivalries. I miss shows like Golden Bell, Intimate Note, or Invincible Youth, but seeing the mentality of some fans these days, it might be hard to bring those shows back. Older gen groups are mostly better in variety since they were able to create their own variety image through those kind of shows, imo. And I'm still mad at woollim not giving us LD5 for this comeback

Same! Topping the charts are definitely nice, but nothing beats the girls enjoying the music they're doing. I'm glad they're confident in the path they're taking, despite people's varying opinions. In this era we can clearly see their growth as singers and it makes me feel like a proud mom and yeah, Koreans and their method of counting years is still confusing me just as much as ever.
